"Sana, we're here."
Dahyun tapped the shoulders of the girl on the shotgun seat. Adjusting to the bright surroundings as soon as she opened her eyes, she let out a dreamy sleepy voice.
"Just a few more minutes."
"But.........fine."

Dahyun caught herself smiling while staring at the older girl. Sana opened her eyes, giving Dahyun a tight-lipped smile as she unbuckles.

"Thank you for the ride, Dahyun."
"I'll wait for you at the library."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, home is boring anyways."
"Okay, I'll go now."

"Wait, Sana." 
"Hmm?"
"Just..smile. It suits you better."
"Will do." Sana reassured.

On her way to the library, Dahyun was still the talk of the girls in the hallway. 

I wonder what's her relationship with the scholar.
She's cool, look at her hoodie. 
It's amazing to see her up close.
She's intimidating.

She stopped by at the cafeteria to buy mint chew. She was approached by two ladies which she assessed are the same age as Sana. A year older than her.

"Hi, Dahyun." The woman holding a jokbal said.
"Hello." She put a kind smile.
"Do you see where Sana is?" This time its the girl with a bunny teeth.
"She's at her class now. Don't you have the same class as hers?"
"Ah, no. We have taken the subject already. We're ahead by a semester to Sana." 
"I see. Who are you then?"
"I'm Momo, Sana's best friend."
"Nayeon, Sana's best friend girlfriend."
The jokbal girl elbowed the woman. By which the latter responded,
"What, babe? She seemed gay."

Dahyun chuckled. 
"Hey, its fine. If there isn't anything else. I'd like to take my leave." She bowed to the older girls bickering.
"...uh, wait Dahyun-ssi.." it was Nayeon.
"Yes, Nayeon?"
"Hmm, Sana has still a shift on a cafe she works after class can you accompany her to that? We, uhm, can't come with her today since we're gonna celebrate our special day." She smiled apologetically.
"No need to remind me that, I decided to go here today just to wait for her classes to end."

Momo and Nayeon's mouth formed a huge "O" in disbelief.

"Great! Now, we owe you one. Let's hang out some other time." It was Momo.
"Sure. Take care."

The interaction ended in two separate ways. Dahyun continued walking to the library and the couple made their way to the Gate 3 of the university.

Scrolling through her cellphone, Dahyun remembered the memory in the early morning.

Ahh yes, I forgot to text her

Scanning the new contact, it was named as "for my Cutie Driver."

The hell, Sana Minatozaki why are making me blush?

She texted the owner of the number,

"Hey, I'm at the same spot as before. Good luck there! See you."

Dahyun can't contain her smile and just happily thought of Sana as she slumber waiting for the older to finish classes.

A few more minutes, her phone vibrated 

from "for my Cutie Driver"
"Don't wait for me much and read books there. :D"

— "Nah, I hate books."
— "I know right."
— "Don't you have prof?"
— "Breaktime."
— "What? You didn't tell me."
— "You're not asking."
— "Where are you?"
— "Don't bother, its just 25 minute break."
— "I insist."
— "Fine. Cafeteria, the farthest table from the viewpoint of the library."
— "Be there in a few."
— "Its a pretty long walk. Just rest there, weirdo."

No replies made. Dahyun sprinted to the cafeteria. She actually did not know herself at this rate. At their house, especially when her father is around she seems cold, stubborn, and intimidating but around Sana is the total and exact opposite. After 5 minutes of sprint, Dahyun arrived at the cafeteria.

"You actually came." Sana said.

Dahyun running out of breathe spoke,
"Of course, I told you I will."
Sana tapped the seat beside her and Dahyun sat with her.
"Come on, ... Sana brushes Dahyun's back slightly as she pants for breathe 
...I told you to just rest. Tch. Here drink water."

Dahyun accepted the offer and glanced at Sana's snacks. Its only a wafer and a glass of water.

"Sana, you sure you are alright with that snacks?"
"Yeah."
"I'll buy you a decent one." Dahyun made her way to the pool of students lining up to get food. As the servers has been instructed to treat the director's daughter better, she was privileged to bypass the line.

The server, as what Dahyun suspects is a scholar as well as she has the same ID lace, shakily said ...

"What do you want to have, Ms. Kim?"
"Uhh, do you have Japanese food?"
"Takoyaki and some sushi, yes we have."
"Please, give me two servings each." 
The latter obeyed and returned quickly, giving Dahyun her orders. Dahyun handed the bills to the server.
"Miss, your food is free as what the director instructed us."
"It's for you, come and get it. For your projects or laboratory." Dahyun gave the bills and put it on the side pockets of the server.

At their table,

Sana was amused to see takoyaki,

"That looks appetizing."
"As they should ..or else..."
"Else..what?"
"I'll kick them out and hire a new cafeteria manager and cook."
"Yikes, arrogant." Sana meant it for herself and covered when she saw Dahyun's intense gaze after hearing her words.
"..Sorry I didn't mean that." She then took a huge bite of the takoyaki.
"How's your class going?" 

With how the exchange of conversations were thrown, its becoming more natural for the two to casually talk frequently.

Sana can't respond quickly as she is still munching on the big bite of takoyaki.

"It's fine but a little bit boring."
"Why? Prof isn't good?"
"I won't tell you! Maybe you'll likely tell to kick the professor out!"
"No, no. I can't decide on that. Its the Dean to handle that."
"Well, kinda boring as I have known the things she is discussing."
"What a plot twist, look who's talking now."
"No, I meant I have read those from the books on the library."
"Hmm."
"Hmm what?"
"Is it interesting?"
"The books? Or the subject?"
"Studying."
"Well, that isn't a question anyways. Its always good to learn something new everyday."
"Fair point."
"Why? Aren't you interested?"
"It's boring for me."
"What would you like then?" Sana curiously asked while dipping her last piece of takoyaki.
"I like you."

Sana choked on her food. Dahyun felt guilty. She rubbed the olders back and gave her water.

"Sorry, Sana. I bet its too fast."
"Huh?"
"Nothing, just eat. I'll just watch you."

Sana's ears heated up and reddened. 

"Did they serve spicy sauce?"
"No, just fine."
"Then, why you ears are red?"
"Ahh, its hot. Hot! Hooo!" Sana said fanning herself from the embarassment.
"You're cute." Dahyun said it naturally. 
"Dahyun!" A high-pitched Sana occured again.
"What? I'm just telling facts."

The bell rang. Dahyun offered Sana to walk her to her room but Sana rejected.

"Just rest until the end of my class, Dahyun."
"Take care, Sana. Enjoy the class!" Dahyun motioned for a AJA! Fighting pose which Sana gave a tight-lipped smile to the younger.

Dahyun just sleep for real inside the library, at Sana's hidden sanctuary. 

"Dahyun..." Sana tapped the youngers shoulder.
Dahyun groaned but stretched her arms and wake up. She seated properly.

"Hey, Sana. Did you wait long?"
"Dummy, you are the ones you waited longer."
"Ugh, let's get you now to the cafe."
Sana scrunched her nose, "How did you find out about my work?"
"I did see you the last time remember?"
"Oh, but how do you know I have shift today?"
"Momo and Nayeon happened."
"Did you meet them?"
"Bumped on them at the cafeteria."
"Then?"
"They told me to take care of you. They got date Nayeon said."
"Ughh, those gays."
"Let's go now? Or, you'll fix yourself first?"
"Uhmm, can you wait for 10 more minutes? I'll just wash my face."
"Sure, take your time. I'll just get some stuff at the lodge too."

Soon, the car stood in front of the cafe Sana is working.

"What time will you be done?" Dahyun asked.
"8 hours from now," Sana stated.
Counting using her fingers, Dahyun took note of the time.
"Its too late!"
"Don't overreact, I'm used to this setup. I needed this job."
"You sure you'll be fine?"
Sana nodded quietly. "I'll get outside, Dahyun. Thank you!"
"Uhm, Sana?"
"Hmm?"

She closed the gap in between them and planted a soft kiss at Sana's left cheek.

"Bye, take care!"
