My Dearest Blue,

They say that you will realize the real worth of someone's presence during their absence.

It's true.

And my greatest mistake is that I just found out how much you mean to me now that you're gone.

I miss you.

I miss the way you hold my hand, I miss the warmth of your skin against mine, I miss your smile, your voice, your laughter. I miss our mornings together, our sunsets, our midnights.

I miss us.

I shouldn't have let go. I should have fought for you. That remained my biggest regret, and it will haunt me til my last breath.

Sometimes I wonder if you still think of me – when my favorite song comes up the radio, do you sing along to it like you used to? Do you still wear my favorite perfume? Did you keep the ring I gave you?
