What Am I

A displeasure groan emitted in the silence of the morning.

A giggle followed suit.

"Taeyeon ah... " a soft, delicate call forced Taeyeon to open her eyes in the slightest

Jessica smiled lovingly into her face.

Taeyeon grunts. She snuggled more into the comfortable cover. The morning here was cold.

Jessica chuckled.

"I'm going to a meeting now. I'll take the kids to Sooyoung's, but I'll be back before lunch, okay? " Jessica patiently explained, caressing her wife's unkempt fringe gently

Taeyeon sighed softly into her pillow.

She squinted her eyes to look at Jessica clearly cause the drowsiness.

"I'll make lunch, will the kids be back by then too? " her voice, thick with sleepiness, enquired huskily which sent shivers down Jessica's spine.

"Yeah, Sooyoung will send them, actually, my friends will drop by too. Can you cook some extra? "

Taeyeon hummed softly.

"Of course. Those four, right? I'll cook something good " Taeyeon said with a sleazy smirk. And gosh, Jessica just wanted to kiss her right there and then.

And she did.

Upon breaking the sweet morning kiss apart, Taeyeon was wide awake. A light blush covered her delicate cheeks.

"I- um... What was that for... "

Jessica grinned.

"A morning kiss. And also, you are just too cute to resist "

Taeyeon was dumbfounded.

Geez, this woman sure has a sweet tongue... she thought, in all honesty, embarrassed.

Taeyeon did what she thought was the best option. Hide.

Jessica laughed a little when her wife pulled the cover-up to her head.

"Okay, I'll leave you now. Geez. I can't even be sweet. " Jessica said aloud, teasing her adorable wife as she made her way towards the door.

"Call me before you guys arrive! " Taeyeon yelled from under the cover, voice an octave higher

Jessica stifled a giggle.

"I will, dear wife! " she called back playfully, before shutting the door.

A few silent seconds passed.

"Eek! " Taeyeon's squealed, muffled as she was still under the cover.

Married life sure is enjoyable.

"She was adorable " Sunny slides the hot cup of coffee across the table

Jessica takes a sip of her coffee. Smiling.

"I told you she is "

Sunny just smiled at her friend's childish banter

"I can see why you've been looking after her all these years "

Jessica smiled wistfully.

"Hmm... I didn't plan for it to be like this. But that night everything was out of control, I had to interfere "

Sunny was no longer sunny. Her face grim, her eyes steeled as she stared at her long-time best friend.

"This is already destroying the entirety of the plan. We need to assure her safety. We'll have to call out the rest of the team "

Jessica adorned the same expression on her face.

"I know. Sooyoung will handle the five, while I myself, will take the four crackheads "

"Even the crackheads? "

"Sure. Despite their hyperactive nature that can't be contained, they are very reliable, you know that "

Sunny chuckled.

"Of course. They came in a package after all "

Jessica nodded with a half-smile.

"Ah, so lunch today? "

"Yup. I don't know what she'll cook, but she's a good cook so anything should be good " Jessica said, almost a bit smugly

Sunny snorted.

"Young love... " she muttered, sipping on her own coffee

"Are you implying that you're old? "

Meanwhile, lunch comes, and Taeyeon somehow managed to cook a whole buffet enough to feed 20 people.

She looks at the various food places on the long table with confusion and bewilderment clearly etched on her face.

"How did I even... "

"Girls! Don't leave your stuff, okay? " Sooyoung reminds them as they were too busy wanting to get out of the car that they didn't fetch their bags

"Oops, thanks, aunt Soo! " Tiffany said, taking each bag and handed it to her siblings.

Sooyoung locked the car as soon as they got out. She looked around the yard and noted how Jessica's car is not here.

"Probably going to fetch Yoong and Yul... " she mumbled to herself before going after the kid into the house

"Mommy, we're home!! " Sooyoung hear the kids yelling joyfully from inside

Another voice greets them with the same enthusiasm and it melts Sooyoung's, little heart.

"Welcome home! Come give mommy a kiss "

Sica really found a gem

Sooyoung followed their voices and found herself in the dining room.

Taeyeon, realizing that they have a guest, immediately smiled.

"You must be Sooyoung ssi. Come sit, Jessica will arrive in a few "

Sooyoung grinned.

"You can just call me Sooyoung since I'm younger than you unnie "

Taeyeon was clearly pleased with her friendliness.

"Okay then, Sooyoung ah "

Sooyoung saw the food served on the table almost right away, and whatever proper behavior she had left her.

"Can I eat now? "

Taeyeon burst out laughing.

Her wife has some interesting friends, unsurprisingly.

Somewhere in Seoul.

A long blonde-haired woman had gathered her friends after receiving a message from someone important.

"Unnie, what's with the sudden meeting.. " another blonde, except with short hair, enquired half-assedly, plopping herself face-first on the nearby couch as she groaned in the pleasure of the comfy surface

"Wheein ah, didn't you just sleep 2 hours ago? " ANOTHER blonde-haired woman asked, this one look like a hamster

"She was killing people off in Counter Strike until 4 am " a fierce-looking woman with long black hair answered on her best friend's behalf, bursting through the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn

"Aigoo uri Wheeinie, you can sleep after I relay Sica unnie's message " The first blonde, Solar or Kim Yongsun said

Wheein peeked at her unnie sleepily, yet slightly curious

"Sica unnie? "

"Oh? Did unnie need any help? That's weird, she rarely calls our team out " the third blonde, Moonbyul, commented

Solar nodded, agreeing and confirming her dongsaeng's words

"Yeah, but apparently she needs the WHOLE team. Soo unnie will inform our RV alias. Sica unnie contacted me herself, she'll need us for that mission "

The only black hair there, Hwasa, perk up upon hearing the emphasized word her unnie relayed

"Hell no. That? "

Wheein by this point was wide awake, they looked at each other. The intense vibe surrounding them.

". This is code red " Hwasa muttered

Gosh. I realized I had this half done, So I decided, why not finish it even for a bit. This is shorter than i it had intended it to be lol. Menstruation cramps are I tell ya.
