*LISA'S POV*

"Saglit lang nga. Excited ka." narinig kong sinabi ni Jisoo from the other line. "Ako lang ba? Miss ko na kayo dalian mo naman!" sabi ko sabay tawa. "Eto na! Medyo nalito lang si Kuya sa waze hahahah traffic daw kasi." pag-eexplain niya. "See you in 10 minutes, Lis." she uttered as she dropped the call.

Nandito ako ngayon sa NAIA together with my baggages. No pun intended. After 4 and a half months in my homeland, I finally decided to come back. During my short stay sa Thailand, I discovered a lot of things about myself and my family. I couldn't be any happier. I met my grandmother, who was more than ecstatic to meet me, dahil ako lang daw ang apo niyang babae. She wanted me to wear the infamous Manoban necklace na isang babaeng heir lang ang makakapagsuot. It was passed down from our elders pa daw kaya naman when my grandmother gave it to me, I almost cried.

After so many years of feeling out of place everywhere I go, I finally belonged somewhere. That is, with my family. My father, on the other hand.. ay gulat na gulat sa engagement na ina-announce ni Malee. And since I couldn't lie to him, I told him what really happened. Na it was all for a show. We sat down for a few hours actually.. to talk about it, dahil nga the matter involved royalty. The precious Princess ika nga niya. Though he told me na it's kinda easy for the Princess to break off engagements because of her status, my father still advised me to be careful about our actions. He also said na I'm old enough to know what decisions to make and he trusts me with my judgment. And that he'll still be there for me no matter what.

Nag-usap naman na din kami ni Malee before ako umalis ng Thailand, na we should remain as friends nalang. Without the benefits, dahil nga aalis na din ako. And she said na she's going to work out our fake engagement and she'll let me know kapag pwede na naming tapusin. She also said na I can see other people, pero I should keep it on the downlow because of our arrangement. 

That's what I like about her, she never tried to tie me down (well aside from the fact na I'm stuck in a fake engagement... na I consented to naman.). It was mutual. She is my friend and she needed help so I did her a favor. So there's that.

So ayun, I sat sa terminal ng airport waiting for Jisoo and Seulgi para sunduin ako. Nagbalak pa kami pumunta pagkatapos sa Mang Inasal dahil sobrang namiss ko yung chicken oil saka yung unli rice. HAHAHAHHA.

Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto kong paghihintay ay nakita ko yung kotse ni Kuya Channie, yung driver ni Papa, na tumigil sa harap ko. Lumabas mula sa kotse sina Jisoo at Seulgi at lumaki yung ngiti nilang dalawa. I quickly let go of my luggage at dumiretso papunta sakanila para yakapin sila.

"Namiss ka namin." Jisoo whispered against my ear. "Kamusta? Are you okay?" tanong ko sakanya. "I am, Lis. Can't thank you enough for helping us." sabi pa niya. 

"Pamilya ko kayo ni Seulgi, ano ba wag na madrama please. Gusto ko na ng Mang Inasal. Tara?" I said and the two nodded. Sumakay na kami sa kotse and I asked Kuya Channie to talk us sa pinaka malapit na Mang Inasal dahil gutom na gutom na ako.
