Pastel Skies

Cherry Blossom Crush

***************************************

3 days before the event......

The smell of coffee, pastry and sweets filled the air like a aroma of comfort as a blonde woman sat near the back of a cafe after finishing her classes earlier in the day. As she waits for the day to go by, she stared on and off at her phone looking at the messages she sent her friend 4 days ago and seen that it still hasn't been read yet.

"Where are you KwangBae?" she murmured to herself.

'I guess she's really taking this seriously. I know you're busy but I dunno......I thought you said you were gonna be offline in gaming only, not texting too.

She kept her vacant stare at the screen as she pondered on what to do.

'I guess not hearing from you for the past few days has been a bit boring......I wonder if I should just call you?'

She looked at the call button but hesistated.

"No.....there's only a few days left anyway.........I can wait." muttered Sakura as she sighed for the 5th time she sat there. She soon put on her earbuds to drown out her thoughts as she started finishing a few class assignments.

"Yeah.....I can wait...."

--------------------------------------------

A raven-haired woman was busy all afternoon trying to find a shop that can print 3D renders and she finally found one after walking around for an hour. Even though they were not common, she went to a 3D printing shop to finally make her trophy for the event that she promised. After messaging Cherry about taking the week off of gaming for training, Hyewon started designing the trophy on her computer for 4 long days until she finally got a design she liked: A chalice cup with a bouquet of red roses and pink cherry blossoms with a gaming controller at the top. She was amazed by how well the final trophy came out since it looked exactly like her render.

'3D printing is amazing....they even got the colors right!' as she held it above her head as if she just won it. 'And the 1st place winner goes to: CakeKillerKwangBae! Destroyer of Cherry Blossoms, murderer of all things cake, wife of foods everywhere and now, queen of gamers around the wooooorrrrrrrlllldddddddd! Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!'

'This is perfect!' she thought as she continued staring at it...that is until she felt begging for any kind of liquid to keep her from dehydrating. She then wrapped up the trophy and put it back into the box for safe keeping until the day comes.

Passing by a nearby cafe near the University's Dorm A, she went inside to finally get rid of the bitter taste in . 'Quite a cozy place' she thought as she scanned the inside of it. Desserts, pastries and the like filled the glass counters and the menu plastered on the wall was colorful and filled with art you'll normally see in cafes such as this. "Violeta Creme Cafe.....nice name."

"One Chai Crème Cappuccino and one Iced Green Tea Lemonade please?" she said at the counter.

Once she got her drinks, she sat down near the back where a few people were, a young couple drinking and chatting at a table, an older gentleman in a far booth typing diligently on a laptop and a women in a cap with Air Pods in her ears in the middle booth with her back towards her. She chose to sit in the booth before the woman and finally was able to rest her tired legs.

'This is a nice place. I don't know why I never came here before despite it being so close. Hmmm? Strawberries and cinnamon? What a nice smell....must be that woman's perfume.'

She took out her phone and stared at the notifications from a certain girl who messaged her but didn't dare to look at them. "5 messages huh? Tsun Tsun Cherry......." 'I'm soo tempted to look but I'll make her wait....it'll be fun to see her reaction.'

"Unnie!"

A familiar voice broke her thoughts suddenly: it was her roommate, Kim Minju. She saw her excitedly waving one arm to greet her and walked towards the surprised Hyewon. People would often describe her room mate as a Goddess with perfect features throughout her body from head to toe. Her face was small and beautiful, her body was slim yet gorgeous and her brown eyes seemed like it sparkled wherever they looked. Her hair was dyed red recently which made her look even more beautiful as it caressed her shoulders like a fiery blaze. Hyewon looked up and saw her and excitedly welcomed the younger girl.

"Yaaaaaaaaaah Minguri, did you just finish class too? What brings you here?" Hyewon questioned as she stood up to hug the girl.

"Probably the same as you unnie! I'm tired and just wanted a little refreshments hehe! Don't drink this place dry okay unnie hehehehe?" the younger girl teased.

Hyewon was fond of the younger girl since she would always make her laugh. Even though she was beautiful, she was one of the clumsiest people she's ever met. There has not been a day when they were together that Minju has either bumped into something or just completely forgotten about what she was supposed to do. She wasn't dumb or anything, she just seemed to be super clumsy and it just made her even more charming to all her friends and admirers. Hyewon viewed her as a younger sister and would always ask how her day was going whenever she got home from classes. Minju wanted to major in photography so she always carried a camera with her wherever she went to take pictures of whatever catches her eye at the moment.

"Unnie...you've been looking tired lately, are you okay?" Minju voiced as they broke off the hug and sat down in the booth.

"Ahhh, it's nothing much. I'm just training for this upcoming gaming event against an online friend of mine. This is the first time we'll meet so I'm kind of nervous actually. There's only a few days left so I'm trying my best to be at my peak to finally show her who's the best once and for all." she said while clinching her fist in front of her.

"It's dumb but it also made us find out that we went to the same University after 4 months of knowing each other.......also wow these drinks are pretty amazing huh? I should come here more often." Hyewon replied while looking back at her phone while happily sipping on her tea.

"I'm a regular here for a reason hehehe. Also really? 4 months and you two didn't know!? The event sounds super fun though! Do you think I can come and watch?" the younger girl put her hands in a begging motion to catch the other's attention.

Hyewon looked back up to the girl and realized that the event was really out of the blue with not much planning, just something said over the internet when both her and her friend were tired after a long gaming session.

"Well, that's because we were always trash talking to each other for most of the 4 months. And sure, I'm sure she won't mind." she stated.

"YAY! Thanks unnie, I hope you win!" Minju flashed a big smile that could make anyone's day brighter.

Hyewon smiled in response after seeing Minju so happy and bubbly. "Thanks."

"Can you invite me to play next time? I want to be a great gamer like you too!" Minju started acting like she was holding a controller which amused Hyewon since she kept waving her hands around.

"Sure? But we compete at a pretty high level Minju....it's very nerve racking at times." Hyewon leaned her head on the palm of her right hand as she pondered the thought.

"I know BUT you never "know" riiiiiiigght? I might be a dark horse!" a wave of confidence grew upon Minju's face as she smiled.

"I've seen you run into the first Goomba in the original Super Mario Bros 12 times, jumped into the first pit 5 times one time after another and also you thought the turtle shell was a car.....a CAR Minju. You jumped on a turtle....how was that a car? You even ran away from the Mushroom and the Star!" Hyewon voiced with a deadpan face but the energy that came from her voice was completely different.

"Heeeeyyyyy, I was still new at it! And of course I ran away from the Mushroom and the Star since everything else I touched killed me! That's a lesson learned from the game itself.....or not....maybe? Also, I still beat it!" Minju answered in her defense.

"The first level Minguri, it took you 48 tries to beat the first level.....48." Hyewon said loud and clearly while still keeping the same deadpan face.

"Awwww unnieeeee, I can't believe you actually counted my deaths! I beat you in Mario Party though! I won 3 Stars over you and 1 over Yena unnie!"

A face of disgust grew over Hyewon who seems to have been a victim of the randomness that is Mario Party.

"Yaaaaaaahhh, that's because Mario Party is all RNG! You don't know what's gonna happen even until the end of the game! It's literally Salt and Tears The Game: The RNG Strikes Back." she spoke with a hint of bitterness in her voice.

"RNG......Salt?" a confused Minju answered, waiting for a response.

"You don't need to know the actual terms but RNG basically means everything is based on luck."

"Yay! That means I'm lucky then!" Minju smiled again while pumping her fists in the air like a Jojo character.

Hyewon then patted her head as if she was a puppy. "Oh sweet, beautiful and innocent Minguri, you have much to learn little froggy."

"Hey!" whined the younger girl, clearly seeing that Hyewon was making fun of her in a way.

"Anyway, if we do make another event, I'll see what we can do."

"A mocha chocolate creme latte order for a Kim Minju!" a voice came from the counter.

"Ooooo I'll be right back unnie!" Minju excitedly left and skipped to the counter to get her drink. 'hehehe, she's always so happy' thought Hyewon.

"Eeeeehhhhh maji yabai Yennnaaaaaaa." a voice uttered in the booth behind Hyewon. The voice had a slight accent and sounded sweet yet there was a hint of deepness to it....charming in a way.

'Hmmmm maji yabai? Yena?' hearing Japanese and a name of one of her friends perked Hyewon's ears but she didn't want to be intrusive enough to look back.

"No ducky, I can't on Saturday. I have an gaming event to plan that day and I have a friend coming over. Yeah. Why would I lie? NoooOOOOoooo, SHE'S NOT IMAGINARY YOU AVIAN TROLL!" the woman angrily yelled.

'Ducky? Yena is the only duck like girl I know so she's definitely talking about that Yena.....gaming event?' Hyewon turned her head around and she saw the blonde woman behind her still with her Air Pods on while packing her stuff up.

Hyewon stared at the back of the blonde woman's head trying to get a better view but couldn't.....'I'm probably looking like a creep right now but I need to see her face.....'

"Unnie I'm back!" Minju skipped back to where Hyewon was at and sat back down.

Hyewon's head shot back to the younger girl in disappointment. 'awww, so close'

"So anyway, do you want to do anything after this unnie?"

"Not much, probably gonna go back to the dorm and eat all your leftovers".

The foreign voice popped up again as Hyewon couldn't help but listen silently. "Huhh? Jeeeez arasseo. Repeat it to you? Wae yo? OKAY. Special order pick up on Saturday at Violeta Creme Cafe! Noted! I'll talk to you later idiot. Okay, ja.....ja.....JAA YE....STOP TALKING ALREADY, JA MATA YENA!" mutter the blonde woman who seem clearly irritated. "Honto ni....that darn duck...."

'Yep......that's definitely Yena, no doubt about it now. And she sure likes mixing Japanese and Korean together....'

Hyewon felt the movement behind her as the woman behind her stood up and proceeded to leave. Hyewon tried to catch a glimpse of the woman but could only see the back of her head as she was moving a bit too quickly.

"What!? Aniyooooooo!! I was gonna save my leftovers for tooom-ooooOOOoooOooomgggggg it's her!!" voiced an every excited Minju while the latter part was said in a whisper.

"Sorry! Gotta go unnie, I'll see you later tonight when I'll get back to the dorm!! Thanks for the tal-" *BANG* "AHHHHGGGGhgggghhHHHhhh!" Minju excitedly got up but managed to hit one of her knees on the table which distracted Hyewon from watching the woman leaving. The red head held her knee while the few customers around the cafe looked in her direction. A few regulars there were used to seeing scenes like this since Minju was a regular herself and they thought nothing of it. "Minju ga toooooooooooooo......" was heard from someone at the counter.....apparently this happens way too frequently it seems.

Hyewon was confused at the whole situation and looked at Minju with concern. "Are you okay Minguri?!"

"Hehehe, I'm fine, I'm fiiiiiiiine! Again, see you later unnie!!!" Minju yelled in a singsong voice as she limped her way towards the cafe's entrance. 'She is still cheerful somehow?' Hyewon wondered and cupped her hands as if it was a megaphone.

"Yaaaaaaaahhhh, really....please be careful Minguri!!! And yeah, see you later....your leftovers won't though!" she yelled.

"Arasseo yo!" Minju didn't look back but raised her hand in a thumbs up as a acknowledgement and seemed to forgotten about wanting to keep her leftovers as she prioritized something else now.

".......that's strange, I guess I can eat it then."

She was always worried about the younger girl. For how beautiful she is, her clumsiness level seems to be even above that....a Goddess level of clumsiness.

Hyewon looked down stared at her now empty cups. 'Wow that was fast, I didn't even realized I finished both of them. I guess all that talking made me sip on them faster hehe'

She then turned to see Minju far in the distance near Dorm A's entrance and smiled. 'wait....I forgot about...' Her smiled faded and she furrowed her brows as her sight turned into curiosity when she saw Minju running past the woman who just left the cafe to stop and talk to her. '........shoulder length blonde hair.....hoodie.....is that her? I-....is that Cherry? Wait....does Minju know her and why was she excited?'

Her mind flooded with thoughts of Cherry and at that moment, time seemed lost to her as she started to space out but by the time she regain focused, they both were already gone.

'! It's gotta be her' she thought and then grabbed all her belongings and rushed out cafe while throwing her used cups away in the trash in front.

Hyewon ran as fast as she could and reached the front of the building in 2 minutes. As it was still a school day, there were many people hanging about while others were walking around to get to their destinations. She looked at every direction but her view was obscured from the moving sea of people. There were voices here and there but she couldn't focus on anything. "Cherry!" Hyewon yelled...."Cherry!! Where are you!!!"

It was no use as it was too loud as the crowd of people were excitedly heading to their dorms or into the city.

Hyewon sighed in defeat......'It's no use, they're gone. Dammit, just my luck.'

She went and sat at a nearby bench and stared up at the blue sky turning a pastel pink. 'Is that Cherry? Does Yena and Minju know of her? This can't be a coincidence.....or can it?'

----------------------------------

"Hey!!! HEYYYY!!!! KKURA UNNIE!!!" Minju frantically yelled at a girl who was about 30 feet away trying to catch her attention. 'Oh yeah, she's wearing ear buds! I need to rush in front of her to get her attention!'.

'Assignments done, now I have the rest of the day to find somewhere to freakin' eat som-.....hmmm, did I hear my name?' A girl with red hair manage to finally get in front of her and raised her hands signaling for the blonde to stop. It was her so called "fan". They met after the red head accidently bumped into the older girl causing her to fall over while they were at a certain cafe. Minju apologized profusely for her clumsiness but couldn't help but became a fan of the blonde girl's beauty. She was mesmerized by her features and would take photos of her whenever they happened to meet each other. Sakura didn't mind since she was still new to everything in the country and just wanted to enjoy all the new experiences here and also that the girl was amazingly beautiful and she would be willing to spend time with her whenever she could. She seen that many music idols have these kind of fans and it was funny since she was just a normal girl going to college, not an idol....in another universe maybe.

Minju would often forget to say her name as she would be too in the moment of fangirling Sakura whenever they met. She made a fansite of the girl on Twitter that gets a ton of hits and because of that, Sakura has gotten many admirers in the University. Minju wasn't the cause of this but it did grow bigger because of her.

"Ohhhh, it's you, Pastel Blossom's masternim. How are you doing on this fine afternoon?" the blonde calmly said smiling while taking off her earbuds. 'OoooOOOooooo yabaaai, it's my beautiful fan! I missed her and her adorable smiles!'

"Hehehe please, it's Minju! Kim Minju! And I'm happy now that I found you again!" Minju shyly said and was happy that she finally remembered to say her name this time around.

"Kim Minju huh? Beautiful name fitting for a angel herself....you finally said it after all this time huh?" Sakura said as she elbowed the girl teasingly.

"Ahhhhhh, thank you Kkura unnie! Aniyoooo....I'm no angel." Minju couldn't help but blush at the compliment and the physical contact....in fact she just couldn't take any without turning a shade of pink. Her shy face was a trademark of her by now and it was adored by everybody who knew her.

"So what's up? You want to take more photos hehe? I've got time to spare." Sakura chuckled and winked which cause the younger women to laugh. Her winks were terrible as far as traditional winks go but they were also charmingly cute in a way that could make anyone laugh.

"YES PLEASE! You are just too beautiful! May I please take photos of you right now? The pink color of the sky will be a amazing backdrop for you unnie!"

"Hehehe, I admire your passion Minju. I can't believe I have a fan who's light years more beautiful than me.....it's me who's a fan of you ya know? You're face is a national treasure!" Sakura stated and she truly meant it.

"Aniyoooo, don't say that please!!! You are beautiful! Don't sell yourself short Kkura unnie! You have a lot of admirers for a reason!" Minju pleaded to her favorite photography subject while trying to ignore the huge compliment she just received. 'Omg! What?! She said she's a fan of me?! Nooooo.....it's just a compliment Minju! Don't think anything of it! National Treasure!?! What?! AHEGSFJEAHFHFHAFHFH!'

"Hehehe, since you are saying it, I can't help but accept your beautiful thoughts and I'll will treasure your kind words." It was Sakura's time to blush as her ears began turning a light shade of pink. She was used to getting compliments but when it comes to pretty girls, it feels a little different for her and tends to make her shy.

"Ahhhhhh thank you unnie! Can we find a spot to shoot at?"

"Of course Minju. But do you mind if we went to eat first? I didn't eat breakfast or lunch today and I'm actually suuuuuuper starving. I've been writing for most of the day that I've forgotten to eat actually....."

"Wait......do you mean like a date?" Minju said with her face lowered as she blushed. 'Ohhhhh.....myyyyyy.....gooooooooood!!'

"Nani...dat-date? I...I never thought of it but....I guess???" 'Ahhhh crap.....I wasn't thinking when I said that......oh well, it wouldn't hurt'.

Sakura surprised herself.....she's gotten on a date that wasn't even supposed to be a date in the first place.

"Oh my god yes, I would love to Kkura unnie!!" yelled Minju excitedly. 'YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!'

"Great! Shall we go then Miss Kim Minju?" Sakura extended her hand with an inviting smile.

"YES, LET'S GO!" Minju excitedly grabbed the older girls hand and stood beside her in happiness.

With that, the two left and went in search for a place to get a perfect changing colors of the late afternoon sky.

----------------------------------

"Woooooowwww Minju yabaaaaaaaiii! That's.....that's perfect!" Sakura excitedly yelled as Minju showed her shots of their photo shoot date.

It was late afternoon turning into night and the pictures taken was on the top of a roof top restaurant. Being there for awhile now, the pastel pink sky seemed to go on forever into the indigo darkness growing in the horizon. Minju thought it'd be perfect if they found someplace high to get better pictures of the sky as it would show Sakura as the main focus on a colorful backdrop.

Sakura was particularly amazed at this one photo of her. "Yaaaaabaiii.....maaaajjjii yaaaabaaaiii! You deserve a medal for this or something hehehe!"

The picture in question was of Sakura looking towards the moon with the front of her body showing towards the camera while her face was showing her her side profile. Her left hand was resting under her chin and she looks as if she was pondering life with the city shown in the background.

"Ahhhhh...you're making me blush unnie! Stop!" Minju uttered as she playfully hit Sakura's arm.

"Really, you are an amazing photographer Minju! May I please have some of the photos whenever you finish them? Especially this one! I think you captured me perfectly! Jinja nice Kami level skills!!" Sakura was looking though the DSLR camera's screen at the photos in amazement. 'Yabai....her camera skills improved so much since when we first shot together. Minju is a really hard worker! Somehow I feel really proud of her....'

"Thank you Kkura unnie, it means a lot! And I agree with you, I think it's my best photo ever and I'll treasure it always!"

"No problem hehe! Talent deserves fame and you have it in spades!"

Minju started having butterflies in her stomach as she had a question hanging in her mind for quite some time. Weeks actually. 'Should I....or is it too weird? No, have more confidence Minju.' She finally gathered her courage and finally asked.

"Kkura unnie.......do you mind if I get your number? I'll message you whenever I'll get done. It'll probably take about 3 days at most since I have other photographs for class that I have to finish." Minju worriedly announced, unsure if Sakura would accept.

'Please.Please.Please.Don't.Think.I'm.A.Weirdo.Please!'

"Of course, I've actually been waiting truth be told. You could've just asked on the first day we met and I still would've gave it to you." the older girl proclaimed with a serious face.

"Ahhhhhh stop, you're gonna make me die from happiness!" 'She's been waiting for me? But....but...' Minju grew extremely red at the remark while Sakura couldn't help but laugh and grabbed Minju's hand which surprised her. She looked deep into the younger woman's eyes as she then said...

"And then go to heaven? No, I'd rather you stay here."

'Ahahahaha, that was so cheesy. I can't believe you said that you ....but she's just so cute to not tease! I need to say another one really quick.' Sakura couldn't help but snicker at her lameness but kept calm and stared at the wide eyed Minju.

"Then could you please flash me that perfect smile of yours so I could die and come with you?"

'...............' she stood there stunned and completely red as a beet. She felt as if she's been shocked by a family of Pikachus.

Sakura continued staring but she was at her breaking point and started hunching over a little trying to hold her laughter. 'pffffffhahahahahaha holy crap...I'm...I'm gonna off myself for real....pfffhhhahaha.......I can't hold it in....I....ppffffhhhh'

"Pfffffhhahahahahahaha" Sakura let go of Minju's hand quickly to cover her face because she couldn't help herself from laughing.

"Wae yo Kkura??!" cried Minju, angry that the physical contact was broken as she wondered why the older woman was laughing suddenly. Sakura stopped momentarily as she looked at Minju's face.....only to start it back up now with tears in her eyes from trying to hold it in. She tried to wave her hands dismissively as if she didn't mean to laugh but kept going as the younger woman stared in disbelief. Minju turned around to keep Sakura from looking at her while putting her hands in her palms. She felt her body heating up and her heart pounding fast but her face felt as if it was on fire. 'Is this really happening? It feels as if I'm in a dream. I can't face her....the happiness in her face and her laughter are too adorable."

"Aahahahahahahahahaha I'm soooo sorry Minju.....I was pfffff...I was laughing at myself....but your surprised angry face was just so precious that it made me laugh more!! Ppppffhhahahahaha!!!" Sakura finally lost it and started laughing uncontrollably now till she hunched forward and back like a drunken idiot much which caused her cap to fall off. Sakura's constant gasping for air between laughs caused Minju to slowly smile and laugh also as if it was an infection spreading. 'KKura unnie.....were you always such a dork?'

Minju turned back around to Sakura and tried to stop her from laughing but she came in too fast and accidently bumped heads with her instead causing both of them to fall down on top of each other. While both of the girls were in pain, it made them laugh even more for some unknown reason. The few people around them were staring at them thinking they've gone insane but didn't question it and left them be. A few of them can be heard snickering in the background with a few clicks of their phones from inbetween. Sakura practically hugged Minju on the ground to keep herself from laughing and it finally died down about 30 seconds later thankfully. They both sat back up dying to get some air back in their lungs and stared at each other with a new found appreciation for one another.

"Minju ah, are you really trying to kill me?! This is like the first time we met each other when you bumped me in the cafe and made me fall down the steps!" Sakura recalled with a big smile and tears in her eyes from her earlier comments. She saw her fallen cap beside her and picked it up to dust it off.

"Ahahaha I'm so sorry Kkura unnie! I was just trying to stop you from laughing but I only caused more!" a concerned face grew over her but she couldn't stop smiling and wiped her tears of laughter.

"No no no no, it's okay, you are just too funny! You're face is just a treasure....whether it's happy, confused or angry, you expressions are just too precious! I haven't laughed this hard in ages! I must thank you for making me smile today since I was actually feeling a little down earlier. This feeling of happiness.....I haven't felt it in months. Maybe you really are an angel!" a beaming Sakura sang.

"Aniyoooooo, I'm no angel..."

"Well you're my angel for today Minju, thanks for making this into a memorable night." Sakura then placed her cap on Minju's head and pulled the red head into a comforting embrace as she just felt so happy in the moment. Minju was surprised at the action but for some reason, she felt exactly the same and returned it warmly as she snuggled her head into Sakura's neck and stayed there for a few moments. '.....this feels nice....'

"Thank you Kkura. I feel the same......and this has been such a wonderful day also thanks to you."

Sakura then broke off the hug and looked at the girl sitting beside her. "Hehehe, I can't help but notice that you sure say thanks a lot huh? But don't worry about it, it was my pleasure Minju. Anyway, back to what you originally asked BEFORE we started laughing our butts off, if you have a pen and paper, my number is XXXXXXXXX."

"Yay! Don't worry, here's mine so call me and add me to your contacts!" Minju uttered while give Sakura a folded piece of paper from her jacket with her number on it.

"Oh....you wrote it already? Cute, I guess you planned this out already huh?" the surprised older girl remarked.

"N...n-nonononononno no! I ju- jus....just happened to fi-find it in my pocket!!!" Minju started flailing her arms wildly trying to explain her side as she started growing pink for the nth time.

"You managed to find your own number that you wrote down in your pocket and gave it to me? Got it." Sakura teased and winked at the now completely red Minju...for the nth time.

"Yes....wait....no-no....ye..wait...wai...waaaaaahhhhh Kkuraaa unniiiiiieeee yaaaaah!!!" Minju cried in embarrassment and started to hit Sakura playfully in the arm and chest. She ended up hugging the blonde again and buried her head in Sakura's shoulder to hide her face. 'I can't believe I didn't think that through! I'm such an idi-'

"Ahahahahaha cuuuuuuuuuuuuute. Hey hey now, don't worry about it Minju hehehe, let's go back to the University. It's getting late now." the older girl cut through her thoughts as she started patting her head affectionately.

Minju broke the hug and pulled the cap lower to her eyes to keep Sakura from looking at them while looking at the ground. 'Kkura unnie....'

Sakura then started to get up and dusted herself off. 'I've said this a thousand times already but she's just so easy to tease.....it's really cute. Seriously.'

"Here, take my hand" Sakura offered her hand to Minju who was still sitting down. She turned her head and stared at the hand and then up at Sakura's vibrant eyes. 'She's so different from what I imagined. She's much kinder and way funnier than I thought.....I admired her for her beauty but she's soooooo much more than that. How selfish of me to think otherwise....'

"Well?" said the patiently waiting Sakura who had a small smile on her face.

Minju cut off her thoughts after Sakura spoke. She finally took her hand and never broke her stare from the older girl and smiled brightly. 'Miyawaki Sakura......You are my Spring.'

"Thank you Kkura unnie. Yeah, let's head back."

Minju smiled as Sakura unexpectedly wrapped her arm around Minju's and linked it together with hers as they started to walk back silently. Minju felt bold at the moment and then intertwined their fingers which startled the older girl but she kept calm and looked down at the red head. "Keep the cap....you look good in it." whispered Sakura.

'...........I will.' Minju thought of the action that just occurred and was planning another one. '....I just feel so comfortable around you.'

"With how times you blushed today, I think you'd look pretty cute with pink hair Minju." spoke Sakura.

".........so the color of you? Sure." answered Minju with a quick and witty reply.

"Uhhh......y...y-yeah." Stuttered a wide eyed Sakura as the back of her neck started warming up and her ears started turning pink. '.........crap, she just hit me with a bullseye. That was maji yabai.' Lucky they were walking in mostly darkness or Minju would've seen.

Minju then slowly laid her head on Sakura's shoulder as they walked, who didn't seemed to mind at all. Minju felt at ease and had a smile on her face the rest of the way back. 'Thank you for this day Kkura unn-no......Kkura oppa. Hehehe.'

Sakura haven't been this happy in a long while. She didn't go out much let alone eat with other people but this night out refreshed her in a way. 'That was really fun, I need to go out more and have more fun days like this.....is this what I've been missing from being a sad homebody too much in Korea? I've been here for half a year yet I've never gotten to explore this place. I need to find more people like Minju who can break this shell I'm currently stuck in. I wasn't sure I can trust people much after what happened back in Japan but I.....I need....I need to find myself again and be happy like I used to be. I hope can can continue making fun memories with the people here.....I know it won't last forever but I might as well enjoy it for the next few years.'

The pair walked on as the darkness finally came and the smaller roads got quieter and the bigger streets grew busier. The thoughts in their heads were only of what the future would bring them to......destinations unknown.

"Hmmm.....a visual from Dorm A with a visual from Dorm C.....together too? Interesting.......very interesting."

You made it to the end? Props to you since that was a long read....I re-checked this chapter so many times. How was the chapter? Some Minkkura yes? I loved them ever since last fall but the ship wasn't big at all back then. Glad to see it on the rise nowadays! Minju said she would be a masternim for Sakura actually and that's where I got that idea from lol. Bless those people who take amazing photos of the girls!

Terribly sorry for no updates for a few weeks :(! In the process of house searching/buying ever since the middle of July and it's been the most stressful thing ever so I haven't been able to write anything substantial. I'll update it whenever I can and again, very sorry for the delay!

Chapter 9: Minkkura & Hyekura, both are my fav ships and I really don't know who to ship with sakura here. Haha...there's eunbi too, chaewon is out since she seems to be interested in Minju. Anyway, this is really interesting and fun to read. Sakura's past was so sad but she was so brave, isn't she :'(
I can't wait to read more.

Chapter 9: I love how hyewon's confession was so connected to games lol, and also thanks for writing this story author, you're just one of the few author that writes about hyekura and i really am so thankfula nd grateful lol, the wizone fandom/authors seems to not fancy this ship and it makes me feel a little sad and disappointed cause daaaamn it, i can only count a handful of hyekura fics and aus. And hyekura shippers are so deprived so thank you once again for making hyekura main casts :) and oh i love the plot of the stoey and the progress of it.
