Rio sighed for the fifth time that evening watching the clouds rolled over the chilly autumn sky. The sun was beginning to set and the wind had picked up its pace. She frowned, worrying about what Ryosuke had said to her over the phone.'Can you meet Daiki and I tomorrow at 8 in the evening at Amu's place? There's something we want to tell the both of you.' 

After the call, Rio immediately contacted Amu asking if she knew anything but to her dismay, the younger girl was equally as confused. She informed Rio that Daiki told her the same thing and he didn't really explain further. Both of them were concerned, especially Rio who noticed how different her boyfriend has been acting during their date earlier this week. 

The dark circles under her eyes were enough to prove how little she slept the night before. Rio had stayed up the entire night just to fall asleep one hour prior to her alarm. To take her unluckiness up another level, the watch on her wrist was already showing '8:05pm' meaning she was already five minutes late. As soon as the train doors opened, she ran for the exit and fought against the howling wind. 

Rio didn't know what to expect and was taken back when her boyfriend opened the front door of her best friend's apartment. Right after seeing Ryosuke's solemn expression, she immediately noticed Amu's tear streaken face. Across the room, Daiki stood with his back facing everyone, his expression hidden in the evening shadows of the living room. 

"Amu-chan, what happened?" Rio asked in concern, frantically running towards the younger girl. Amu kept her silence and refused to answer her question. However, as soon as Ryosuke took a step towards the two, Amu's sulken expression immediately turned into a glare. 

"Don't do it to her!" Amu suddenly yelled at him as Rio jumped back slightly, surprised by the tone of her outburst. 

"D-Don't do what?" Rio pressured further, this time a bit frightened. She had never seen the younger girl this angry before. Rio glanced at Ryosuke who didn't seem to be affected by Amu's plea and took another step closer. Amu was beginning to lose her patience and placed herself in between the two. She clenched her fists and took a deep breath to regain her composure. 

"Yamada Ryosuke." Amu began, her voice now hoarse. "I will never forgive you if you hurt her."
