Amu ran as fast as she could. Luckily, she managed to catch the incoming train right as it approached the station. She took it for 3 stops, glancing at her phone periodically to make sure that she was heading the right way. Chinen sent her Daiki's address and with the help of the navigation app, she was able to arrive at the right location within 15 minutes.
"So this is where he's living now..." Amu thought, staring at the wooden nameplate on the wall with the name "Arioka Daiki" engraved into it.
She attempted to catch her breath but not wanting to waste another second, Amu rang the doorbell and impatiently waited for the door to open. After a few seconds, she heard voices behind it and immediately recognized Daiki's loud voice. When no one came to the door, she spammed the doorbell a couple more times before a disheveled boy answered it.
"Amu-chan, what are you doing here?" Daiki asked, surprised to see her.
Amu invited herself in, walking past the boy and taking her shoes off. She walked into his living room and waited for Daiki to close the door. In the meantime, Ryosuke decided to check his phone as he waited for the latter to return to the room. After realizing that someone else came in, he widened his eyes and placed his phone down. As soon as Daiki stepped into the living room, she finally releashed her frustration out on the two guys, scaring them in the process.
"ARIOKA DAIKI, YAMADA RYOSUKE. BOTH OF YOU ARE FREAKING IDIOTS!" She exclaimed, taking deep breaths.
"It's nice to see you too, Amu-chan." Ryosuke greeted back, slightly afraid by her expression.
"MOU, Why didn't you two tell us?" Amu asked.
"About what?" Daiki replied.
"About Saito's plan."
Upon hearing their manager's name, the two boys immediately exchanged concerned gazes and Ryosuke's expression turned serious. "How do you know about that?" He asked.
"Chinen told me." Amu sighed, taking the seat next to Ryosuke as Daiki stood in front of both of them. "He told me everything." She repeated but this time, emphasizing the last word.
"Chinen?" The older boy asked, glancing at Ryosuke in confusion. "How does he know?"
"He overheard your manager talking to his assistant about faking the threats to get the both of you to break up with Rio and I."
"Does Rio know?" Ryosuke asked, feeling his hopes rise.
"No.." Amu answered as the latter slumped his shoulders. "After he told me, I ran straight here." She paused, waiting for someone to say something. When the two decided to keep silent, she spoke again, feeling tears swell up in her eyes. "Mou.... What the heck is wrong with the both of you..."
"We thought there was no point in saying anything because we can't do anything about." Daiki said, crouching in front of her. "We don't have anything that proves he actually orchestrated it."
Immediately, the girl opened her bag and pulled out the usb drive. She placed it on the coffee table as the two guys eyed the random device.
"All the threats they wrote, payments they made, and pictures they took are on this drive. Chinen overheard where they put it and he went to retrieve it after. He decrypted the files so everything is accessible." She told them and in an instant, Daiki and Ryosuke both stood up in shook and exchanged glances. They've been spending the past week trying to find any sort of evidence but failed in every attempt.
"... But why would Chinen tell you?" Daiki asked, confused at his bandmate's actions. He knew how much Chinen liked Amu so telling her would only complicate things in their relationship.
"He broke up with me." Amu answered, lowering her head to avoid everyone's gazes.
Upon hearing how intense the conversation was becoming, Ryosuke immediately stood up and grabbed his jacket. "I'll be out for a bit." He told them, wanting to give them some privacy. He grabbed his bag before closing the door behind him.
Meanwhile, Daiki was still trying to comprehend what Amu had just said. "I thought he was in love with you." He said, beginning to fumble with his fingers at the thought of their last conversation.
Amu placed her hand over his and held them tightly. "He knew that my heart wasn't entirely his."
"Eh?" Daiki widened his eyes. "You were cheating on him?"
"No, dummy...!" Amu exclaimed, her lips curving into a smile. She took a deep breath and finally confessed.
"I still have feelings for you, Daiki. I'm still in love with you."
In an instant, the boy pulled her into his arms and held her tightly. "I thought I lost you forever." He uttered, his voice cracking.
Amu shook her head and hugged him back, embracing his familiar touch and scent. "Just don't leave me ever again."
"I won't. I promise."

In the meantime, Ryosuke found himself walking to the hospital where Rio worked at. He contemplated on telling her everything but as for now, he just wanted to see her. Knowing Daiki and Amu for years, he could easily assume that they had already made up by now. The wholeness he felt for them only exaggerated how empty he felt.
Ryosuke never had the chance to thank Rio for taking care of him yesterday. After contemplating on what to get her, he finally decided to buy some strawberry pastries and he held the bag firmly as he walked towards the reception desk to ask for her.
"Hi. I'm here to visit Dr. Yamada Rio." Ryosuke said, handing the guest receptionist his ID. After taking down his information and giving him back the card, the receptionist gave him the directions to see her.
"She's resting on the fifth floor, in room 11. You can take the elevators on the right." He said, giving him a guest badge.
Ryosuke stared at the badge in confusion and tilted his head to the side. "Sorry, I think you've been mistakened. I'm here to visit a doctor." Ryosuke repeated, puzzled about why the man gave him a room number.
The receptionist shook his head. "Well it says here that Dr. Yamada Rio is hospitalized as of this morning..." He said. "Would you like me to call and doubl-"
"No sir, that's alright. I'll head over now." The boy immediately replied, frantically hurrying to the elevators.
As soon as he arrived on the fifth floor, Ryosuke scanned the halls for the number "11" and when he finally entered the room, he almost didn't recognize the pale girl laying in the hospital bed. "Rio-chan
