Jeong: I gotta admit, BTS members in general are pretty close with Got7 oppas. 

Chae: Gyeom oppa is pretty close with a lot of the SVT 97 liners who she collabed with!

-30 minutes later-

 

“Guys, it’s almost 1 in the morning, and we gotta get up by 6 tomorrow” I said while clutching my stomach. I can’t believe I gave in to the pizza. 

“UGH. I ate so much.” whined Nayeon. “Stylist unnie is going to kill me if I don’t fit in our performance outfits.”

“Relax~ relax~ We’re gonna burn it off tomorrow during the rehearsals.” says Momo as she cuddles Dahyun in the couch. “Besides, we’ve been so busy lately, we gotta treat ourselves!”

“I agree! Cheeers!” Says Jeongyeon gleefully as she raises her cup and downs a glass of sparkling wine. Most of the girls also raised their glass, but some of them were already asleep on the couch.

“What are we gonna do with that?” Sana points to the empty pizza boxes with a bunch of scribbled names written on it. 

“Keep it was reference!” shouts Nayeon, but gets shushed right away by Jungyeon. 

“Ew, no with all the Pizza and grease stains? I’ll just take a picture of it.” I said as I snapped a quick pic of the messy flow chart scribbled on the box. 

The girls and I got a little too carried away with our "investigation", but even with all our crazy theories and assumptions, we manage to effectively narrow it down to 5 people.

I didn’t manage to get a wink of sleep that night. I tossed and turned, and kept looking at the list. It’s been a while since I’ve thought about boys, or even the possibility of finding love at this stage of my career. I didn’t even think that boys even viewed me like that. Cap sunbaenim seemed just a one off thing, it almost felt like a prank, and I treated it like it was one. I tried not to think about it too much, but I’ve heard people refer to me as the visual hole of Twice. I know that I’m not bad looking, but the girls are just overwhelmingly pretty. I didn’t have Tzuyu and Mina’s chic visuals. I was not as refreshingly pretty as Nayeon and Dahyun. I was not as y as Momo and Sana, and was nowhere near as edgy as Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung. If the list was somehow correct, and one of these guys maybe an admirer, will I be able to accept it? 

Even if NCT was technically our hoobae, and Seventeen only debuted a few months before us, having a major sunbaenim like BTS or EXO in my list is just unthinkable. Practically impossible. I shudder as I think about the wrath of the fandoms. I think about the stories from our girl group sunbaenims, it’s always the girl that gets it much harder than the guys.

Would it be worth it?

I managed to stop thinking too much about the list throughout morning rehearsals. I may have used up my night thinking about it, but my days were devoted to Twice and our first major concert. It was the final full day of rehearsals. This time, we got the chance to run through our show inside the stadium itself. Even though we have performed in the same stadium just last year, this will be the first time where we were performing by ourselves. People were coming to see us. 

When I finally had the time to breathe, I look up to the empty seats. It was crazy to think that sometime tomorrow it will be filled by fans who took time out of their day to see us perform. I feel myself getting overwhelmed by the emotion, but had to stop myself from tearing up. I looked around me and managed to catch Nayeon and Jeongyeon’s eyes in the other end of the stage. Even if we didn’t say it outloud, I knew what they were thinking. 

 

We finally made it. 

 

It was around 1pm when we finally got the chance to eat our lunch. Everyone was given 2 hours of free time to go out, eat, and just relax until we have to be back for some more rehearsals and last minute production set up. To give our managers a break, we decided to get delivery and eat in. It was getting more difficult to have us eat in public without causing a scene, and it was even harder on our managers because it was their responsibility to keep us safe. This way, they can eat with no worries and truly relax in the next 2 hours. 

Since we still had an hour of free time left after lunch, we were left to our own devices. While most of the girls took the opportunity to take a quick nap in the dressing room, I decided to finally reply to Mr. Unknown. 

 

    Hey, Sorry for the late reply. 

    I was going to reply earlier, but I kept forgetting.

Just a few minutes after I press send, I got a reply back.

For the first time that day, I thought about the list. I couldn’t imagine any of them attending the concert without causing a scandal. Nayeon unnie is lucky that she could invite Jinyoung oppa to watch and people will just assume that he is there as a supportive JYP sunbaenim. 

 

    To be honest, I shared your hint with the girls.

He ended up replying back with a crying emoji, and continued to wish me a successful concert. He said he was also busy with work and will probably not be able to respond right away for the next few days. I replied with a thumb emoji, and wished him luck as well. 

An hour later we were back in full force, dancing our hearts out until we were fully comfortable on stage. We were in the middle of rehearsing for our cover dances when Tzuyu manages to whisper something in my ear. “Do you find it weird now that you’re covering DK sunbaenim’s part?”. 

I suddenly stopped dancing and stared at the maknae. “You just realized it didn’t you” she says with a giggle. I get myself together and manages to roll my eyes, pretending that I was not affected at all by what she whispered. It wasn’t like we were sure it was him. 

Later that day when were having some trouble with some moves to EXO’s Overdose, I see Chaeyoung in the corner giving me teasing looks. When I finally had enough and asked her why she was giving me the looks, she responded with a “Unnie, maybe you should ask your penpal for advice!”. 

This time I couldn't really play it off cooly, she said it loud enough for the girls to hear and all I could do was to shush her up, hoping the managers didn’t get what was going on. 

 Even though I managed to shush her up during the rehearsal, Chaeyoung’s statement only inspired the rest of the girls to find opportunities to tease me throughout the rest of the afternoon rehearsals. 

Sana kept singing “All for you” every time I got close to her.  Momo thought it was a great idea to sing a part of 7th sense when she was helping Dahyun with one of the more complicated choreographies to our dance break. While Dahyun, being the army that she is, decided it was only fair for her to sing a line of Blood sweat and tears every time she was wiping her sweat away.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the girls thought it’d be hilarious to play nothing but Seventeen, BTS, EXO or NCT songs all throughout the ride home.

I didn't think I'll have another chapter up so soon.

I was gonna work on my Mina fic, but was having trouble finishing the chapter, so I worked on this instead.
