I finish off my now cold tea and gave my mug to Nayeon who was kind enough to wash it along with hers. I have a feeling she's also anticipating the reply because every few seconds she looks back at me, then my phone and then sighs loud enough for me to hear.

It's almost midnight, and by now most of the girls have gone to bed. Sana is done with her call, and I can hear Jungyeon singing in the shower. After what feels like an eternity later, I hear a familiar ping from my phone.

"Mr. Unknown" Sounds cool to me! 

but you can call me anything you'd like. ;)

Penpal, chingu,#1 fan, secret admirer, I'd be happy with anything really. 

I'm just glad you gave me chance! 

Anyway, you must have an early schedule tomorrow.

After quickly reading the message, I give Nayeon my phone and she did another squeal (quieter this time) as she hands me back my phone. "You know what this means don't you." She says gleefully. 

I frown and shake my head. 

"Either Mr. Unknown here has got our schedule memorized, or he also has the same schedule as us!" she says as she looks up our schedule for tomorrow on her phone. 

"Unnie! of course they're going to be there, its awards season. I'm pretty sure most active kpop groups will be on location tomorrow to either film or rehearse for the show. " I say as I try to remember which boy groups will be in attendance. For the first time in my life, I wished I paid more attention to the groups around me. Aside from all the artists in JYPE, I only follow girl groups and indie bands. I have no recollection on which boygroups are currently active this season. 

Nayeon who seemingly have read my mind, put her hands on my shoulders and says as she pats her chest, "Don't worry girl, I got you. You're talking to a boy group expert after all." The girl looks so damn proud to be a boy group fangirl. 

"Does Jinyoung sunbaenim know about your boy group obsession?" I say teasingly. 

"Of course! Why do you you think he confessed!" she says as she pushes her hair back playfully. "I thought I'd be forever friendzoned, but now he gets adorably jealous every time I gush about other boy groups I like." 

The way she always seems to light up when she talks about him makes me so happy for her. She's had the biggest crush on Jinyoung for 5 whole years but was too afraid to ruin their friendship. She may look like a social butterfly, but she's incredibly shy when it comes to her crushes. Yugyeom, being Nayeon's closest guy friend and practically adopted son, knew about the crush and used the opportunity to tease Jinyoung and Nayeon endlessly much to their chagrin. It was hilarious but painful to watch. Jinyoung, being the righteous sunbaenim that he is, made sure that there will be no misunderstandings or rumours surrounding him and Nayeon in the company. He always denied it, and insisisted that they're practically twins because they share the same birthday, which broke Nayeon's heart but had no choice but to accept her fate; trainee-artist relationships in the company was frowned upon after all. Which was another reason why I never did anything about my old crush on JB sunbaenim... not that I ever had a chance. *sigh* Before I go down the rabbit hole of regretful thoughts and insecurity, Jungyeon walks in the kitchen in pajamas and hair wrapped in towel. She seems to have gotten second wind after the shower, and is back to her bubbly Jungyeon self. 

"Oh there you guys are! I was wondering what you guys were up to!" she says as she flings herself to Nayeon.

"Jungyeonaaah! You missed out on some delicious teaa!" teased Nayeon as she hugs her back. 

Jungyeon who thought Nayeon was talking about literal tea says, "Ugh no thanks, I'm more of a hot chocolate than a tea kind of girl you know!". Nayeon and I look at each other and couldn't help but burst into laughter. 

"Oh Jungyeon-ah, Jisoo and I will update you tomorrow!" Says Nayeon as she gives Jungyeon a gentle push.  "Come on ladies, time to get some rest. Its gonna be another long day tomorrow, and you, miss Jisoo especially need YOUR beauty sleep." she says as she looks back at me to give me wink. 

I roll my eyes, turn off the lights and follow both girls in our 3mix room.

The morning went by quickly as usual. Two years in, and the girls and I got our morning routine down pat. It's not easy for all 9 girls to wake up, get dressed, eat and get glammed up on time, so everything has to be done effeciently. Today was even more hectic than usual, not only were we scheduled to film a bunch of pre-filmed segments for the show, we have dress rehearsals for some of our live performances. By lunch time we were exhausted and ready to just take a nap before we get into what feels like the 10th outfit change of the day. I finish my lunch quickly and meet up with our manager to go over the schedule for the afternoon. The meeting didn't last too long, and I was glad to have a few hours to kill before our next scheduled task. As I walk back to our dressing room, I hear a familiar sounds of male laughter echoing the hall that seems to be coming from our dressing room! 

As usual the Got7 boys have invaded our space, and it seems like they got us playing Mafia again with Jinyoung Sunbaenim as game master. 

"Jihyoooo, come play with us!" Says Yugyeom excitedly playfully pushing Youngjae to the side and patting the space beside him.

Before I can politely decline, I hear Nayeon who was already sitting outside the circle whine, "Not fair Yugyeomaah! the game has already started Jisoo can play with me in the next round". I nod in agreement and quickly sat beside Nayeon in the "dead" area. 

"Sooo, did you get anymore messages from Mr. Unknown?" whispers Nayeon. I shake my head. It's been such a hectic day that I actually forgot all about the mysterious penpal of mine. A sudden realization came to my head.

"Do you think.. he maybe changed his mind?" I whisper back to her. I see her shake her head in disagreement.

“Oh, Jisoo-yah.. for someone so pretty and smart, you’re not very confident aren’t you?” she says as she playfully squeeze my cheeks. I can feel my cheeks heat up as I stare down the floor tiles of the dressing room. I guess being a trainee for 10 years can affect a girl’s confidence. After being constantly scrutinized at a young age, I’m never completely satisfied with myself. I thought that winning sixteen and debuting in Twice would boost my confidence, but the pressure of being the leader of the group didn’t really help in that aspect.  

Suddenly Nayeon looked like she had an epiphany and dragged me further back in the corner of the room. “Do you think maybe mystery boy is in Got7?” she whispers conspiratorily. We look at each other, then look at the boys in front of us. It can't be Jinyoung for sure, and Yugyeom and Bambam would be like dating my brothers... ugh. I sense that Nayeon also had the same thought as she whispers, "Although it can be hard to believe, but it may be possible right? Mark and JB sunbaenim can be mysterious, Jackson oppa can be romantic and Youngjae is pretty reserved, so you never know~~".

I observe the boys in question. What she said was all true, and my heart flutters a bit as I entertain the possibiliy that it could be JB sunbaenim, after all I did have a crush on him for 3 whole years. I shake my head, and look at the other boys. The handsome Mark sunbaenim could be a possibility too, he's on the quiet side but he's always been nice to me. Beside him, Jackson oppa is the complete opposite, he's loud, charming and extremely friendly. I knew a lot of the trainees had a crush on him because he treated the girls a little too nicely... and even though I never really gotten to know Youngjae oppa -because he debuted so quickly- he's always been friendly everytime I see him in the company. Before I can observe them even further, I hear Nayeon quietly say, "But Jinyoung oppa would have for sure told me!". 

She's right. Even if it's not Jinyoung sunbaenim, we'd be receiving constant teasing from Yugyeom or Bambam by now, and I don't really sense any changes in their behaviour. As I observe the two closely, another thought occured to me that made me dismiss the possibility that Mr. Unknown could be from the sunbaenims. 

"You're right! and you know what? I currently have all of Got7's phone numbers... so unless he's using another phone, then Mr. Unknown couldn't possibly be from Got7." I explain to Nayeon and she nods in agreement. Even though it was a nice thought, It doesn't really make any sense for them to go through lengths to be this mysterious. It is so much easier to create platonic or romantic relationships within the company after all. As I ponder upon it even further, I hear a familiar ping from my phone.

I didn't realize Nayeon was looking over my shoulder when I hear a loud squeal. I see everyone in the room started looking at our direction and I slapped shut and pretended to be interested in the game in order to divert everyone's attention elsewhere. I give Nayeon a warning glare, and she promises to be more quiet. 

I respond back,

A minute later I hear another ping, this time Nayeon was no longer beside me and I see her talking to Bambam, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu who were all ousted in the game.

And no, we still have a few more segments to film and rehearse and then we're outta here!

I can feel a smile forming in my face, thankfully everyone else is distracted because I can hear a heated debate between Jackson oppa, Sana and Jungyeon who were apparently nominated to be put in the chopping block. I bet 20,000 won that Sana is Mafia. The girl is so obvious when she lies, her Osakan accent tends to spill over and she's practically speaking in satoori by now. I see that I'm not the only one who notices, and sees Mina whispering to Momo signaling that Sana should be ousted in the game. I chuckle quietly as I look down on my phone and decide to reply back to Mr. Unknown. 

I was in a meeting when they started the game so I couldn't join in =(

It's such a shame too, because I will CRUSH the game. 

I can easily tell when one of my members lie ^^ lol

Like right now, Sana is defending herself frantically to Jackson Oppa but she's making it too obvious xD

Yes, we trained together after all.

but we have a close sunbae-hoobae relationship.
