Seungwan was running towards the tree with a tin container under one arm and her other hand dragging her father with her towards the tree. Seungwan was growing quickly, but for every inch she grew, the tree grew a foot.
“Seungwan, slow down!”
She heard her father’s pleas, but couldn’t hold her excitement. As the wind was blowing past her, she could feel her black cap starting to tip off her head so she had to let go of her father’s hand to fix it back onto her head. She reached the tree a few seconds before her father, but he quickly caught up, albeit with a shortness of breath. When he caught up, Seungwan confirmed his presence before placing the tin container at the base of the trunk.
“What are you doing?”
“Mom and I baked these cookies and they were delicious.”
Seungwan’s response was delicate and didn’t quite answer his question, but due to her shy body language and his knowledge of his daughter’s tendencies, he quickly realized what she was trying to do. He could only laugh at the realization which was not a reaction Seungwan liked. She turned away from what she was doing to give a glare at her chuckling father trying to create a couple of holes with just a stare. She puffed out her cheeks, crossed her arms, and waited for her father to calm down.
