Wendy approached the tree throwing up an object and catching it with the same hand. Every time she caught it, it made a recognizable clinging of metal, a sound she was truly loving this day.
“Hey guess what?”. The tree never responds, but Wendy always liked giving it a chance to.
She caught the metal object and held it by its ring, showcasing a few keys dangling.
“Wannie’s Buns is open for business.”
She squeezed the keys tightly into her fist as she jumped around in excitement. When a sudden gust of wind picked up, she stopped and turned to the tree like it was trying to communicate with her.
“I know, the name. We aren’t even serving bread or anything people would consider a “bun” right now, but Joohyun insisted. I think it’s kinda dumb.”
She tried to whisper that last part, but a familiar clinging and voice appeared behind her.
“What’s dumb again?”
“Joohyun! I was just…”
Wendy spun around and saw Joohyun imitating her exactly actions only moments ago, but she didn’t recognize the keys.

“I know it’s a bit of an overload with the bakery opening, but I didn’t want to let that house get away and we had been saving really well. I know it’s going to be a busy time, but I just couldn’t wait any longer, and you liked the house as well. I aske
