“Is she still refusing to see you?” Jinyoung asks.

Jaebum sighs with a sad nod.

“You look terrible, when last did you sleep?”

Jaebum ignores his question.

“So you still don’t know what you did wrong?” Jinyoung asks.

“If I knew I wouldn’t be here would I.” He says lifting up his drink downing it.

“You are such an idiot! You should just go and ask her to come back.”

“I can’t” Jaebum says as he takes another drink, wincing as he felt it burn down his throat. “I made a promise to her, To stay only because she wants to, I can’t make her stay, but I need her so much I don’t know what to do anymore.”

Crescent looked out of the window, but there was no sign of him today.

“He’s late today.” her father says as he joins her by the window.

Crescent looks away and was about to turn away.

“My child, I know you are not the type to run home in tears if you didn’t feel anything for him.”

Crescent can’t deny it, but still what was the use if he didn’t feel the same as her.

“I know what you are thinking, speak to him first, it’s only fair to both of you.”

Crescent didn’t answer, her father was right, but she just wasn’t ready.

“Look someone’s coming right now.”

Crescent looks out the window, but to her surprise it was another face.

Crescent walks out the front door.

‘Jinyoung?”

“Come with me, Jaebum collapsed.”

Crescent rushes through the halls with Jinyoung following close behind. She throws open the door to his bedroom and rushed to his side.

‘Jaebum?” She says softly reaching for his hand.

Jaebum slowly opens his eyes, he looked like he hasn’t slept in years, Jaebum’s hand reaches up and wipes away her tear. “Please don’t cry. I’m alright, just tired.” He said with a reassuring smile, but he looked a like he hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in ages, his voice a little hoarse.

Crescent removes her hand out of his, remembering the situation that led up to this, but Jaebum holds on tightly.

“Please stay by my side.”

Crescent could feel tears building up
