학교 식당에 도착하자마자 느꼈다. 그 눈빛. 그 무서운 눈빛. 왜 항상 나를 이렇게 뚫어지게 쳐다보는 거지? 무지 불편게. 그 녀석을 엄청 싫어했다. 완전 연쇄 살인범 같았다. 그리고 다음 타겟이 나인 것 같았다. 나는 죽기 싫었다. 아직 해 본 적 없는 것이 많이 남았다. 해 보고 싶은 것도 엄청 많았다. 그래서 죽지 않으려고 그 녀석을 피하는 것이 유일한 방법이였다.

“뭐 먹을까?” 수호가 물었다.

“안 먹어. 가자.”.

“그 녀석 때매?” 수호의 눈썹이 올라갔다.

“응. 물론이지. 그 눈빛을 어떻게 감당하겠어? 하루 이틀인가? 적어도 한 달 됐어! 매일매일... 차라리 죽이던가!” 나 거의 외첬다. 짜증났다.

“눈빛이 좀 무섭긴 하지만 그의 목소리를 들어봤어? 제법이다! 정말!” 수호가 그 녀석의 매력에 반한 것 같았다. 이해가 안 갔다. 참 잘생긴 것을 인정했지만... 뭐, 인정 안 하는 사람 있겠지? 그런데 잘생김이 다인가? 아무리 잘생겨도 섬뜩한 스토커이면 감옥에 가둬야 된다. 무조건.
