Yuju walks onto the stage and prepares to sing her newly practiced cover.

Yuju closes her eyes and continues on the next verse with all her heart.

Smiling lightly at how the lyrics tell her story, they resonate with her. Tears beginning to form around her eyes, Yuju continues on the last chorus, trying not to break.

You couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on
So I'm already gone"

The last chord rung through the silent room. Everything is quiet.

Yuju looks up from her guitar to the audience who are awestruck by an angel on the stage. And there it is, a loud applause and cheers tear the silence apart.

Yuju wipes her tears from her face and thanks them before walking down to the backstage.

Eunha was watching silently from the back, tears brinking at how her friend is giving up all her emotions in the song. They are both obviously hurting.

Why do they have to be so selfless? You stupid girls.

"Great job Yuju. You sang it so well. Here have some water." Eunha greeted her with a compliment as Yuju walks down the stairs with her heads down.

When Yuju looks up her unnie and go straight for her shoulder, sobbing hard. Eunha's heart shattered a bit at how broken she looks.

It has been like that lately, Yuju cries every now and then. Sometimes she just stare at a blank wall, lost in her own thoughts. Eunha thought it was better for her friend to not be seeing a certain girl. But now she can't stand seeing her joyless friend.

"Yuju-ya. Let's first go back to Sowon unnie okay? She's waiting outside." Yuju slowly lifts her head off of her shoulder as she swings her guitar case on her back.

Sowon's waiting at a table, slowly sipping on her alcoholic cocktail. She looks so intimidating and cool, sitting there with her legs crossed, keeping a straight face her sharp eyes roaming around searching for her short girlfriend.

Once Eunha and Yuju comes into her view, her face turns into a bright teenager.

"Yuju you did very well up there. The song made me teary as well." Sowon commended her younger sister while pretending to wipe her fake tears off her eyes. She knows the meaning all too well. After all, she is a friend of both.

Sowon knows that they both are forcing themselves away from each other, when in reality, wanting to do the opposite.

Eunha and Sowon both know that Yuju's been over-working herself. She would study till late and fell asleep on her desk, repacking the packed suitcases and sings off her emotions every Friday. Sometimes she would just skip her classes and pay a surprise visit to Eunha to sing.

It has gotten worse after Yuju's transfer schedule move a semester early which means she has to go next week, right after their finals. Eunha cried with her Yuju to sleep the night she told her, not wanting to let her best friend move far away yet.

Yerin's not a tad bit different from the other girl. She would just walk around with her mind off to who knows. Once, after she comes back from a date with her boyfriend, Sowon could find Yerin with a can of alcoholic drink at the balcony of their apartment staring off into nothingness.

The sun lightly shines through the windows as the performance continues in the bar. The three friends are seated silently watching the coming acts without a word between them. After a stage or two later, Sowon breaks the silence with a question which they've been avoiding unknowingly, "Have you told Yerin about it?".

At the mentioning of Yerin's name, Yuju glides her gaze back to her glass that is held in her hands while letting out an inaudible sigh. Yuju has been thinking about this for days. She even thought of leaving the older girl without saying anything. But she couldn't bring herself to do that.

Inside her mind, she doesn't want to see Yerin. She is not ready yet to see Yerin's smile with that guy. The way they sit together, the way Taehyung puts his arms around her while whispering sweet nothings in Yerin's ear, the way Yerin giggles at his silly jokes. Even in her imagination,  it deeply hurts Yuju. Oh how she longs to be beside her the way he is right now. If sh
