Recap:

The performer removes her mask, revealing her face.

My eyes went wide and I feel tears flood my eyes when I see who is behind the mask.

"Yuju..."

Yuju POV (Before seeing Yerin)

The stage crew give me a mask to wear for tonight. It is a white mask with flower patterns which covers only the half of my face.

"Thanks." I looked out to the audience and see that it's a lot more crowded than the other days.

I eyes focus on a girl with a black dress. She looks awfully familiar to me.

She walks in with a friend.

Woah, her friend is freaking tall.

They walk toward Eunha's station. Eunha immediately welcomes and smiles at them.

They must be her friends.

Then Eunha and the tall girl walk away from the station.

The girl in the black dress seems a little uncomfortable with all the stuff going around her.

"Hey, Yuju, you are on in 5 minutes. Be ready!" The stage manager calls out to me.

"Yes sir."

The announcer comes back down after his introduction to my performance.

I let out a long breathe and check my tuning before I go up to stage.

"It's show time!" I heard him shout again.

The crowd whistle and clap as I walk into the stage.

I take a designated seat in the middle of the stage and I let my eyes run through the crowd.

That girl in black catches my eyes. She slowly lifts her eyes to the stage but as soon as our eyes met, she quickly divert her gaze back to her glass.

I focus back to my current task. I strum the first chord and start singing the melody.

Through out the song, I just keep on glancing over to that girl in black.

She seems to be staring at me too.

I broke eye contact out of embarrassment and continue on. I feel my head getting light headed too.

The song comes to the end and the whole room instantly fills with claps and whistles.

I bow my head slightly and went down the stage. I grab my water and catch my breathe for a while.

Eunha comes to the backstage with a rush, eyes wide and panic evident on her face.

"Yerin's here."

My eyes went wide and I feel my heart skips a beat.

Yerin's here...?

"Since W-When..?"

I was trying to get over her. She is still in my head after all these years I've been trying to forget her. 
Confessing to her might only be a burden for her and it would become awkward between us from then on. So, I decided to ignore the feeling in my heart and to move on from her. 
Moving on Yerin was not easy as I hear her news from my friends. They would talk about her career and stuff so I tried not to meet up with them. I didn't want to risk myself to be back to square one. That has been a whole lot of painful process for me. Eunha knows how hard it was for me. 
Now, I am getting close to the stage where I can keep my feelings neutral for her. But god is totally not on my side for this I guess. Maybe it's fate...

"Since before you perform. Are you going to be okay?" Eunha eyes me worriedly.

I take a deep breathe, "I think I will be okay. Is she with Mino?" I put my glass of water on the table.

"No. She came here with Sowon." Eunha says.

"Then it's okay. As long as he's not here."

It's been quite a long time since I last saw that couple, they were "fine" according to what Mino told me.
