High School FreshmanThe four friends were walking towards the school, when something hit Nancy on the forehead.
"Oh my god! You hit the girl over there!" A voice cried, and at the same time Nancy rubbed her head, fell down and glared at the source of the voice.
Some boys were playing football by the open area over the school, and Jooe was already striding over to yell at the boys.
"YAH! Who are you and what just happened!" Jooe screamed.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry!" A boy came over to where the girls were.
"It's okay Jooe, I am fine." Nancy struggled over.
"Who are you?" Jooe asked.
"I'm a new addition to the football team. I'm Subin." The boy mumbled. "I'm sorry."
"Well. We ought to go now, Nancy ah." Ahin said. And with that, the friends stormed Nancy away, Jooe shooting dark looks at Subin.
But what really fascinated Nancy was that Subin was looking at her with a dreamy look on his eyes. She narrowed her eyebrows.
Finally, it was time they settled into the class, as per regulations, they were assigned to their seats.
"Lee Joo Won." The homeroom teacher, Miss Hwang, peered at her from her glasses, "you'll be sitting with Lee Seung Ri at the back of the class."
"Who's that?" Jooe asked, bewildered.
"Me, you dummy." Nancy tackled Jooe. "I have a Korean name."
"Wow! Fabulocious!" Jooe exclaimed.
"I highly doubt that's even a word, Jooe." Daisy, who was sitting with Ahin in front of them, snickered.
"Where are we going for our Foreign Languages Class?" Nancy asked.
"We stay here, and wait for the teacher." Ahin replied.
"Class!" A man walked in, and he looked, well, American with a hint of Korean. "Hey man, what's up!"
"This is Mr Park, but we all call him 준이 형(Joonie hyung), even the girls." Jooe whispered. "Legend has it he's as playful as a toddler."
