Description
In which May knows that Oh Sehun hates her and Sehun has no idea that he does.
Characters:
May:
A bubbly, affectionate girl with a penchant for dramatics and abandonment issues.
May (defensively); I do NOT have abandonment issues!
Xiao: And who started crying because she felt lonely?
May (sheepishly): I was sad...
Xiao (affectionately patting her head): I know.
Oh Sehun:
A shy, introverted person who tends to get overwhelmed by May's over-the-top personality.
May (sobbing): He hates me! I just know it!
Baekhyun (giving Sehun the stink eye): How dare you!
Sehun (helplessly): I have no idea why she thinks that. I don't hate her, I swear!
Baekhyun and May (simultaneously sarcastic): Yeah, right!
Byun Baekhyun:
May's best friend and twin in all the senses except gender, which doesn't count because he's hot either ways.
Xiao (rolling her eyes): One compliment and it goes to your head.
Baekhyun (sticking his tongue out): You're just jealous I looked better as a girl than you do!
Xiao (actually a sore loser): Pfft, as if!
Baekhyun: Baekhee was y and you know it! (Breaks into a dance routine while 'y and I Know it' plays in the background)
May: You go girl!
Xiao (muttering to herself): Idiots. This is why I love Luhan
Xiao:
May's best friend as well, sort of babysitter and in charge of stopping her from doing stupid stuff... which, she admits, she isn't very good at.
Xiao (defending herself): It's not my fault. Everything she does is stupid.
May (hurt): That's not true!
Baekhyun (overprotectively hugging May): Don't ever talk to me or my baby ever again!
Xiao (ruthlessly): When was the last time either of you did something smart?
May and Baekhyun (at a loss of words): Er...
Xiao (nodding): Exactly!
Luhan:
Xiao's one and only (supposedly) idol and favorite singer.
Narrator: So, what are you thoughts about being Xiao's love interest?
Luhan (covering himself because he was in a shower): Who are you? How did you get in here? Security!
Narrator (getting dragged away, screaming): Any comments about Xiao?
Luhan (traumatized): Who the hell is Xiao?
Foreword
She cannot bear the thought of someone not liking her.
Call it her fatal flaw but she absolutely, completely cannot bear the thought of someone so much as disliking her. It bugs her on a visceral level and keeps bugging her until the person changes their opinion or goes away, preferably the former.
Yes, she’s a people pleaser. No, her self-esteem does not depend on their approval. She’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t need validation from people approving of her…
Or at least, that’s what she tries to tell herself the next time Sehun ignores her completely in favor of joking around with their other friends.
It’s difficult to convince herself though, when she’s literally the only one he doesn’t play with.
Which baffles her more than anything because she’s likeable.
No, that’s not just her opinion, it’s a fact. She’s about as friendly as Baekhyun and the guy walks around to get close to his friends.
And yes, she’d been the one to suggest it in the first place because friends who plan to get together, stay together. But that’s beside the point.
The point is, Oh Sehun hates her. And she cannot bear it.

Hello everyone!
Recently, Sehun's grown a lot on me and since I had a soft spot, I managed to whip something cute and fluffy for our maknae. This is going to be a short, fluffy fic and I'll keep the updades regular, once a week or maybe once in ten days. Hope you guys will enjoy it. Will post the first chapter on the weekend, hopefully.
