Byul's POV

"Yongsun-shi have you ever been in love?" 

I was slowly nibbling my lunch with Yongsun as I asked her questions about herself. We're eating at her office table since Seulgi brought lunch for the both of us saying that it serves as an apology for having a foul mood earlier. We ate at her table cause it is neatly arrange, I like it. I look at her as she raise her left hand signaling for me to wait cause she's struggling with the meat she's eating. As soon as she finish it she look at me 

"Well, in our age Byul-shi we certainly fell in love you know"

"I was just wondering cause the way you speak to me earlier makes me feel like you had experienced it" she giggled a little after my statement

"of course, I am not good at giving advices but most people learn from experience Byul-shi. No matter how good or bad the result is we still gain something out of it and it is the knowledge of how we deal the same things in the future." I was amaze of how she speak to me. I was left amuse by her words and she just smiled at me and continue eating

"Say Yongsun-shi, have you ever regret doing some things in your life" 

She answered me after inhaling the food in

"Yep. I regret a lot of things. Like the profession I took, the friends I make, and a lot more. But for me, things you regret in the past will come back sooner without you knowing it, but that doesn't mean you gotta do the opposite of what you did in the past. At least consider the people around you, consider the situation you're in, and consider yourself as a person." I just look at her, chewing small portions of my food while listening to her every word

"Maybe the right decision was done at the wrong time. So be mindful Byul-shi. Regret will appear every after decision you make no matter how wrong or right it is, but don't regret about the same things twice. You gotta man up and do what's best not only for others but also for you" she patted my shoulders while putting the disposable lunch box at the plastic container

"W-wait you're done already? I haven't been halfway my food here"

"You're busy internalising what I said that you forget to at least stock some food in your mouth"

"Your words are full of wisdom. I didn't see the clumsy Yongsun earlier from the Yongsun in front of me now"

"Wise words will come out of nowhere. Maybe the the lamp post gave it to me earlier." I laugh at her and quickly finish my food. I look at my watch and saw that we had 30 mins left before we got back to work. 

"Yongsun-shi, I was just curious and you know I don't have any intention but are you somehow in a relationship?" 

She just stared at me for a while then sighed

"Okay, I guess there's no harm if I tell you a small secret." she paused, still looking at me then sigh for the nth time. "The reason why I was late earlier was because I got super drunk last night. My partner and I broke up 3 weeks ago, I was devastated for two weeks before I decided to apply here for work. When I got accepted I made up my mind and promised myself that it was my final cry for that person and move on with my life and will stop thinking of them. It's quite a struggle even now but I need to" 

I was dumbfounded. Never have I ever thought that I'll meet someone with the same situation as I am right now. I took her hand immediately then look straight her eyes

"Date me" It was so sudden, I just blurted it out of nowhere and realize I guess my mind was not just functioning well. Yongsun on the otherhand was staring blankly at me

"I-i-i'm sorry, I-i didn't mean to shock you or what but I-i was not thinking straight. Your story was the same as mine so I guess I was just desperate for you know some uhm a-affection and was mourning from my sudden break up and all. I'm s-sorry, forget what I sai--"

I was surprised when a pair of lips were crushed into mine and without knowing it I was kissing her back when suddenly

"Kim Yongs-- wtf" 

I softly pushed Yongsun as soon as I heard the voice calling out for her

"W-what the hell are you both doing? Aish, Kim Yongsun-shi please send this papers to the finance manager tell them I need the results ASAP and you" Seulgi pointed at me "office"

Yongsun bowed and went immediately to the floor below we're in while me, I follow
