∞ INFINITY ••• CHAPTER THREE IS HERE!It's usual for the facility to be quiet in the early hours of the morning. There is nothing out of balance on this particular day; everyone asleep in their rooms, unaware that their Asgardian member had an unsettling feeling looming over her body that kept her up most of the night. She can't describe the feeling coming over her as she has never experienced something this fierce before. It concerned her and she figured that's enough to let Fury know something was very wrong. Embla left the confines of her room to find her boss. Thankfully, she didn't have to look far.
"Couldn't sleep, again?" he dryly questioned from his spot, the spaceous window overlooking the field before him. He knew that Embla had been struggling on getting a decent night's slumber for the past month or two. Even after Jean examined her, there wasn't a clear cut explanation for the nagging feeling and lack of sleep with only a suggestion from her to cut back on missions for a while.
"Fury, there's something wrong. I can't tell what it is or why but there's something very wrong...I'm scared." the Asgardian admitted as she walked to his side, her arms tucked into her sweatshirt pocket. The sun peaking through the horizon starkly contrasting Embla's concerns.
"Scared? In all the years I've come to know you, you aren't the one to be scared easily. Given that, I believe that this is something more serious than being over worked. Could it be-" he is interruped by the blood curdling scream coming from Embla, now dropping to the floor while clutching her chest; screaming that the pain isn't going away. He calls out to Jean through Coms for help. Thankfully, it was only a matter of seconds before Jean rushed in with her medical bag, the others following close behind her, alarmed at the sight and sounds of their teammate.
"Embla, talk to me. Tell me what's happening. Dammit Embla, talk to me!" Jean frantically questioned as she held Embla's head steady, examining for a wound or some root to the pain that she was describing. The other women looked on with wide concern, some holding onto each other in hopes
