Chapter I - Flowers in Bloom
Its Not My Fault
Jeno had been wandering through Seoul for about half an hour now, and to be quite honest he was thisclose to giving up. He had been trying to find a small but highly rated flower shop that specialized in things like 'good luck' flowers, but everytime he thought he had reached the place, his map would just reroute.
After his map rerouted for the fifth time, he almost threw his phone across the sea, but controlled himself, settling with putting it back in his pocket while grumbling curses about how google was created just for the makers to laugh as they watched people circle around their destination for hours.
He congratulated himself on checking the weather before hand though, or else he wouldn't have known the hot and sunny day would quickly turn into a rainy one, and if he hadn't had his coat on he wouldn't still be searching.
Sniffling a bit, Jeno began aimlessly walking back towards the main road to leave, stopping when seeing a familiar sign. He squinted, growing even angrier. For a half hour he had been wandering an entirely different way than where the shop was! He could've gotten there in two minutes if he had just walked forward after getting off the taxi.
Choosing to ignore it, he entered the humid and warm shop, spending a few seconds just basking in the new found heat. His eyes glazed over the dozens and dozens of flowers that were all neatly organized into different areas, shining brighter than the old lady's next door when he was in high school.
Jeno stepped further into the store, reading over the difficult to pronounce English names, only recognizing the roses and daisies.
Pulled out of his own world, he was greeted by a very sweet hum of, "Hello! How may I help you today?"
All it took was a simple glance and Jeno could feel it. His heart quicken. It wasn't too big of a deal though, things like that always happened, just like with the boy in his History course, Doyoung, or with his best friend in high school, Donghyuck, or with that one boy he always see's in the college dance practice room, Taeyong. Jeno always had a knack for crushing on people quickly.
Jeno smiled back at the boy, after realizing he had thought in his mind for too long and created an awkward silence, making him wring his hands slightly, "Ahem, actually, do you happen to have any, like uh, congratulatory or good luck bouquets?"
