KIM's POV

 

When the weekend arrive the whole team went to a Resort to celebrate the success of the Valentine's event that happened last Monday and is also considered to be a team building, since it is a little late already.

We will be staying in a huge villa for 2 days and 1 night, the 1st day was used for some prepared activities by the committee, All the employees enjoyed and made an interaction with everyone during the games while I just enjoyed watching them or should I say watching her (^_^)

The day activity ended around 2 o'clock in the afternoon  giving us some time to rest because the dinner party later will start at 6 in the evening.

I have decided to walk around since it is still early and take a when I saw an empty recliner  bench near the pool area.

I"Kimhan!" Someone from my back called my attention and hearing that voice wake me up from my reverie, My lips are about to form a smile and I was about to turn around to face her when she said "Your the worst" I knitted my eyebrow in confusion still not facing her "If its for work you don't mind using your ex huh?" So that's it, now I get it, she found out about me asking a favor from my ex, Is this the reason why she's been bugging and nagging me continuously and even following me around this past few days with nonsense.

I continued stand on my feet and started to walk "while I was working hard, you were laughing at me, weren't you? When I'm waiting for the chief in the cold. Everything was already settled, wasn't it?" I sigh isn't she happy I helped her, I did that because of her I walk faster but she manage to catch my phase "Right? Am I right?" she said while catching her breath but I ignored her

"After all, it's weird for you to chose me to be your next after that famous person, huh?" 'oh here she goes again comparing her self to others' I internally face palm myself, Even I act like ignoring her I listen to everything she is saying

"Or may be not? i could already be the next, next, next after her for all I know."

". . ." I look at her unbelievably

"And that's give me a thought why you even wanted to date me." Pie I wanted you that's why, we will talk about this soon. I said to myself leaving her

9:00 PM

 

Everyone is happily chatting, singing and drinking

"Kim is too secretive" Pie said calling my attention while pouring wine in my glass as her excuse to get near me, well as you know no one in the company knows about us aside from her best friends I guess?

"Hey Can you hear me?"  I Blink my eyes looking at her

"Why would you want m-" I stand up, I have enough of her words, she should not be thinking that way.

"Hey where are you going?" She asked but I still did not uttered a single word instead I drag her towards an empty room

she look around the room "Wh-what is it?" she asked nervously while taking a step backwards

 

why is she uneasy? Is she thinking something? I smile internally with the thought but dismissed it immediately "So in the end what are your trying to say? I asked her seriously, I can't understand what she want

 

"Ah.. well. . so why did you ask me out?" She asked hesitating at first then added "Where you making fun of me?" She asked looking away from me

 

"I was't" I immediately answered in defense

she just look at me with her hypnotizing eyes waiting for more explaining

it seems she doesn't know she is very lovable "why are you lacking confidence?" I asked

 

"I-i was't"  she answered in low voice

 

"I already made it clear to you since the very start, I was set on you, so I asked you out" damn I wish I was good with words, why can't I explain what I am feeling right now

 

"Set on you?" she said repeating what I said with a knitted Eye brow "What does that even mean?" she asked confused but before I could answer she said "I wasn't going to agree from the start anyway" she said shrugging then turn to look at me and caught her said in low voice"but because you said rehabilitation, i-I thought. . why not. . ."

 

"What're you babbling on your own?" I asked wanting her to repeat it

 

but she said instead "Like I said, I don't get it" she sigh "Like what do you think of me?" she asked innocently

 

I took my step closer to her and hold her face with both of my palms, It feels so good to hold her and look at her beautiful face I wanted her so bad but I needed to stop or else I might not be able to control myself anymore so when my sight land towards her luscious lips  I said to divert my thoughts "You know the shape of your lips says that your a responsible and reliable on the planet" I saw her slightly drop her jaw, well I kinda search the meaning of the shape of her lips, I continue "'Get it done even if it hurts' is your motto. You don't know the meaning of the word 'impossible,' and deadlines don't worry you because Everything will be done exactly on time. Your loved ones and friends know that they can relied upon you in any situation. Your the kind of person who simply turn up and solve every outstanding problem in one go" I started playing with her face

"If you do this it won't be visible" I added pulling her face making her lips stretch sideways, gosh if we're alone in this place I already endeavor her cherry lips.

I was in that thinking when PLAK! I felt my left cheek burning 'did she just slap me?' I asked my self but when I return my gaze back to pie she is already gone

PIE's POV

 

"Boss Kim!" 1 of our colleague called in flirty way

 

"I've always wanted to talk to you personally" 3 girls approached

 

"Me too, I had always been meaning to ask you about my worries for the future" said the girl from the managing department

 

"Boss what happened?" another girl butted saying then added "Your cheeks are so red" as she pushes one girl away taking the place beside kim

 

'gosh what with this ladies'  my mind complained feeling irritable but I unconsciously smiled because kim ignored them and just continue walking leaving them behind

 

then I saw ploy a receptionist girl throw her hat intentionally towards the sea "Oh no! my hat!"

"Help" She shouted dramatically while running towards kim "That was a memento from my mother" she said almost crying

 

'Oh don't fall for that act grrr!' I said to my self, "memento your face" I mumble to my self

 

"He's as popular as ever right?" I turned around and saw Jane now looking at kim's direction

 

"That person is the worst" I said irritably turning my back and lean in the railings remembering what happened last night, It was embarrassing and disappointing, I thought she's going to kiss me and make me feel that I am being love but she made fun of me instead.

 

"You know Pie when the Senior chief got drunk last night he said because of the mess you made before the event the superiors were going to have you take responsibility by demoting you to a branch in a province" I turned face jane and she continue "But the one who stopped them was Kim"

 

"What? I-is that true?" I asked unbelievably but I felt happy knowing about kim defending me but "Still, I can't stand her" I said stubbornly like a kid pouting and stomping my feet

 

"For someone with a high pride yet still go to meet her ex that she dumped and asked for help. . . it must've been something really important" Jane said like a professional preceptor

"which means you are that special for her, wasn't it all for you pie?" she said throwing me a Did-You-Get-what-I-mean Look

 

I stopped after realizing what jane had said to me, 'did she really do that for my sake? Am I that important to her?' a lot of question suddenly comes popping in my head again

 

"Kim! wait!" a flirty shout from a distance caught my reverie and made me look at the direction

 

"Better watch your kimhan Pie" jane said warning me pointing her eyes towards the girl who's running towards kim

After my conversation with Jane I found myself following Kim with that ! I made sure to have a distance with then but still could here that loud voice

 "A little more, Come on, Pedal faster" tss that b!tch acting bossy and she had been harassing my kim, I can see from my binoculars the way she touches my boss unpleasantly

"Over there, where close" even if kim shows her poker face and trying to avoid the touches by making a distance she can't because they are on a swan boat giving them a little space, sweet right? while me, I was all alone pedaling a small swan for single person I sigh deeply

"I'm so happy that I could be alone with you like this" that fan girl made my blood boil, I can't believe the smart boss I know fall for such a stupid act

"Over there, where close" ploy said pointing to her floating hat that was now within the reach of my boss

after reaching the hat, kim successfully catches it and gave it to that coquette!

"Thank you" she said seductively and hold kim's face with her hand and going to pull her for a kiss

 

I was like OH NO!  ⊂(⊙д⊙)つ  this is not happening "Don't" i shouted taking a step that i forgot i was in the middle of a water, I loss my balance and fell down into the water

I tried to swim but I can't, I don't know how so I swallow a lot trying my best not to sink deeper. My eyes is starting to get blurry when I felt a warm hand touches mine

I think I saw an angel but no it is the handsome figure I'm watching awhile a go and she is not wearing her glasses, so this is what she looks like with out it. More handsome i thought to my self before my eyes shut completely.

 

 

KIM POV

 

After handling the hat I was startled with the actions of the lady who seek for my help earlier, She suddenly grip my face with her hands trying to kiss me, as I struggle to push her away I hear a panicking voice "Don't" when I turned around I saw Pie from distance fell down from her ride

I was shocked seeing her struggling but after composing myself I immediately dive in the water and swim as fast as I can to reach her, I was getting worried and worried as I see her sinking down little by little.

When finally I reach her place, I catch her hand and felt a little relieve seeing her eyes still open and gave me a smile when I hold her hand but felt afraid when she closes her eyes slowly and loses her consciousness.

'Oh common pie, I need you to wake up now!'  This is the words I say repeatedly in my mind while I sit beside her waiting for the sleeping beauty to open her eyes, she's been unconscious for 2 hours now.

When I saw a pair of eyes slowly open I wasn't able to hold myself

 

"What were you trying to pull?"

"How could you cause me such trouble?"

"It's so stupid to have me jump into the water,"

 

I saw her smile a little but with a hint sadness I think?

 

"This isn't a joke" How can she smile when she almost died awhile ago

 

"Then you didn't have to jump for me" she said rolling her eyes

 

"Right" I scoffed "It would've been better if I didn't jump"

 

"I shouldn't have act like that, I know following you is insane" She said with a saddened eyes that makes my heart soften "But it just got into me, I didn't like seeing another girl near you, especially to be kissed right in front of my eyes" My heart has been filled with joy hearing that from her

 

"Your really stupid huh?" I said and before she could answer I already pressed her lips against mine, I kissed her slowly and passionately, after breaking it for air I said "I won't say that kiss didn't have any feelings in it" I gave her warmest smile.
