Confession
The Forgotten Vow
"Let me go and get her," Minho offered himself to find for the missing girl. The others looked at each other, with a nervous expression as they were concerned something bad might happen to Suji. Because she wasn't used to be in this place. If we're about to describe the one who feels like his heart going to explode, it would be Lee Dongyeol.
He was currently maintaining his frowning face as he pricks his fingers, frightened with all of the things happened in a short time. At that moment, Hwanhee was already beside him, trying to relax him down with some courageous words though he knows there's nothing could make Dongyeol feel better now other than seeing Suji in front of his eyes.
"Jungwoo, I need to talk to you," Moonbin's stern voice attacked their ears. Jungwoo looked at his friends whom having a really dark expression promptly. It would be a lie if he said he wasn't afraid when Moonbin had that kind of expression plastered on his face.
The latter unwillingly follows Moonbin from behind and went downstairs. The situation was awkward as hell with none of them trying to mention something. The stairs should be a short one, but it took forever for them as if there's 1000 steps ahead of them. Everything is in a mess.
While at the other side, Hwanhee still there beside Dongyeol and Yein... she was looking at Dongyeol with the most apologetic face she could ever give him. Yes, she felt sorry for what she did. But, seriously, she had no intention to hurt any of them especially Suji.
Because she knows how much Suji likes Jungwoo. It's just, the situation forced her to do so and she had no other choice. If she ever had it... she wouldn't go this far.
"Yein, what happened?" Dongyeol finally had the courage to ask the most difficult question for now. His eyes were shaking, with tears rolling down his cheeks, starting to wet the white shirt he wore.
Yein heaved out a silent sigh as she clamped her lower lips, "I don't have anything to say," She told him. Most probably, the only things she could reveal to him presently. She wanted to tell more but she felt like she wasn't in the position to do so...
She lost...
Minho was currently outside the house, wandering around it in hope he could find for Suji as soon as possible. It would wholly be a severer problem if he couldn't find her now. The night here was radically different from Korea. It was almost impossible for Suji to endure it alone.
When he couldn't find the girl anywhere around the house area, he decided to test his luck and go beyond the house area to look for her. Minho was walking along the road, alone until he saw a familiar girl was sitting at the edge of the valley, stupidly staring at the scenery in front of her.
"There you are," He muttered under his breath, feeling grateful to barely catch a glimpse of the girl. At the very least, he knows where she had been all these time. Minho silently establish his way towards Suji and took a sit right beside her, "Hey," The latter greeted her but it seems like she didn't care about it at all.
He could spot tears in Suji's eyes. She must be feeling terrible after knowing her best friend dated her crush. Minho could feel her, precisely acknowledged the girl because he had the experience one. Ugh, he didn't even want to remind himself about that. Let's just move on.
"You didn't know anything at all about them?" Minho cautiously asked as he was afraid it might hurt the girl even more. Suji shook her head before she buried her face in her bending knees, "Hey," He laid down his arms around Suji's shoulders and pulled her closer, slowly caressing the girl, "Don't cry, Suji,"
Upon listening Minho's words, Suji's tears running down faster, the sound of wailing getting louder. She's broke; because of Jungwoo. The boy she has loved throughout her life. Suji never imagine there would be a day where her heart would get broken because someone that she loves.
"I---," Suji decisively uttered something, "I was about to drop the vow because of Dongyeol and Yein but---," She sobbed, "I don't know that Yein actually likes Jungwoo. I--I thought she liked Dongyeol," She explained, receiving a sigh from Minho.
Minho gnawed with his lips, "Why did you make the vow at the first place?" He curiously asked.
"Because I was afraid," Minho frowned upon her answer, "I was anxious that I might lost Jungwoo if I didn't make the vow to stay as friend forever. The moment I realize I love him, I know I dote on him to stay by my side forever. I merely need him by my side and I thought he's undoubtedly going to be by my side and be mine forever but----," The latter ended up losing her words again.
He felt sympathetic for his lovely cousin, "Shh," Minho tried to soothe Suji down though he knows it wasn't going to work on her now.
"Minho," The girl wiped the tears on her cheeks, "Am I really didn't deserve love from anyone?" She urged, "Just why... he needs to do this to me? I--I thought he loved me. I thought he was my friend. I thought he was going to be mine and only mine forever... But why... Is Yein better than me?" Suji her long hair backwards, "I can't understand any of this. Tell me that this is only a dream. An extremely terrible dream," She was pleading with her teary eyes towards Minho, "Tell me... It's a dream," The latter broke into tears for the second time, "It's... just... a... dream,"
He pulled the girl into a hug, a warm and tighter from before as he hopes it would aid her in calming herself down but when the sobbing sound stopped, he panicked. Minho pulled away from the hug to look at the girl, "Suji," He shook the girl's body but there's no response coming from her, "Lee Suji, wake up," Minho slightly tapped on Suji's cheeks though she remains unconcscious, ","
Minho ended lifting the girl up in a bridal style to go back to their house.
Jungwoo ended up being drag by Moonbin to the wide flower park located beside their house. The latter forcefully snapped his hand from Moonbin's grip as if he hurts him. He gritted his teeth, heaving out a profound sigh as he rubbed his hand; slowly turning red in colour.
"Tell me the truth," Moonbin's eyes were full of rage. He didn't expect for Jungwoo to do that to anyone especially Lee Suji. The one he has been most devoted to the most. The only one girl friend he ever had before Jung Yein appeared.
He levelled his eyes, "What?" He uttered in annoying tone, expressing no intention to explain anything towards his friend. He felt like there's no need for him to do so, it's pleasanter to stay quiet and say nothing.
Moonbin clenched his fist, suppressing the anger he had, "Kim Jungwoo," His voices pitched up as he called the latter's name, "I know you won't do that without a reason," He claimed.
Jungwoo snorted, "What make you think I would do that with a reason?" He was being all-y, annoyed the boy even more.
"Jungwoo, I'm not playing around
