They say deep waters are the darkest and unexplored regions of the ocean. Life itself can be seen much like an ocean, a secure and pleasant journey through life is much like swimming in shallow waters... unless you start swimming further away. 

My mother used to always warn me, "Don't swim too far, don't dive too deep, the waves will drag you away towards the deep, dark waters." 

Because once the waves drag you in, you will never swim out unless you die trying.

Prologue

Yoona’s POV
 

I was on the floor, my hands and legs were frozen and numb from the chilling cold of the tiled floor. My wedding dress was stained into a bloodied pink with my tears and blood that had seeped from my grazed knee through the delicate white silk. My face was burning and every tear that had escaped my eyes was like a knife carving itself down my face.
 

“Stop crying.”
 

I trembled slightly upon hearing his voice. It felt like a pin had pierced my ears, never had I heard a voice so emotionless yet so dangerous. I held my breath as I forced myself to look at him.
 

You demon, you bastard, you devil. All of which I had screamed inside my head.
 

My sore eyes still managed to give him a glare of hatred but he still gave me a look of indifference. There he was, sitting there in his suit watching me as he held one hand casually with his half ridden cigarette. Taecyeon, my now legally proclaimed husband.  
 

“You got what you wanted now… you… bastard,” I whispered lethally.
 

I glared at him as he held his cigarette to his lips and inhaled the smoke. He sat there as though nothing ever happened and for a moment I imagined myself going up to him and killing him, slapping him and kicking him until he was a lifeless piece of on the floor.
 

“ you! How could you do all of this and still ing smile? You ing wretched bastard,” I fired every curse at him as another tear rolled down my cheek. There was so much rage in me, I felt like snapping something.
 

“Because I love you,” He said simply.
 

“I ing hate you!” I spat out.
 

“Face it Yoona. Nobody in that family loves you. Your best friend doesn’t give a about you. Only my feelings for you are genuine. Why can’t you see that?”
 

“SHUT THE UP! You manipulative son of a ! You tricked and played with everybody like they were your puppets! You made everyone turn against each other! How could you do this? Where is your conscience?! YOU DESTROYED MY FAMILY AND THEN TOOK EVERYTHING FROM US! THE REASON YURI HATES ME IS BECAUSE OF YOU!” I screamed out throwing whatever was close to me towards his face. The object that I had thrown smashed across the floor shattering into pieces.
 

But before I could throw anything more he got up and grabbed both my wrists harshly locking them into place. I kicked, thrashed and screamed as he dragged me to wherever he was taking me. He pulled me across the staircase ignoring my screams for help. He was going to kill me or me.
 

He dropped me onto something cold and hard, my head knocked onto the surface making me see stars for a few seconds. I was in a bathtub and as I tried to thrash my way out he pushed me back in making my head hit the bottom again. He was going to kill me… he was going to drown me. Cold freezing water hit my head making me thrash my way out even more. But I couldn’t, Taecyeon had ten times the physical strength than I did.
 

I tried to scream but my words became gurgles as the water entered my mouth making me choke and cough. I felt like I was being dragged down to the ocean floor, everything around me was freezing and wet.
 

“WAKE UP! You have nobody in your life except for me now. Your brain is almost as ed up as the rest of them. So let me tell you nice and clear. Your best friend was a stupid gullible alright? And your family will never love you like I do. So wake the up! You’re in my world now,” Taecyeon growled into my ear before throwing the shower head down on the floor. 
 

My heart pounded as I heard every word roll off his tongue. All I could hear was the dripping of water from my hair and the beating of my heart against my eardrums. My wedding dress now completely soaked clutched onto my skin like a layer of ice. I was shivering and gasping for breath. Everything about me was cold, my body had frozen up inside me. 
 

“I… will never love you the way I loved him,” I whispered silently.
 

He gazed at me darkly, his face was cold and emotionless.
 

“Maybe that will change,” He replied slowly before leaving out of the bathroom.
 

I stared off into space ignoring the pain of the ice cold water against my skin, the throbbing bump at the back of my head and almost every pain imaginable along my body. Taecyeon had dragged me into the deepest, darkest waters and he had trapped me there. Like he had said, I was in his world now. There was no going back, I couldn’t escape.

Hope you enjoyed the prologue as much as I did writing it. Let me warn you that this fanfic is extremely dramatic and has alot of angst. I'll be very straightforward in telling you that Taecyeon will be playing a villain in the story (I'm pretty sure you would've guessed that by reading the prologue). So to all Taecyeon fans out there, please don't be offended by how I'm writing him in the story. It's about the character in the story not him in real life.

I'm sorry about all the foul language used, but you have to understand yoona's situation at the time. I'm taking off the M rating off this story.. although it has some vulgar language I think those would be best used for more serious stuff. There may be some rated scenes in the future chapters so I'll make those marked.
