the 12 year old renjun covered his ears from the blasting noise coming from hsi parents room right across his, this was just another common day of his parents bickering daily but this was turning the worst of all the fights, there were breaking of stuff and finally a thud and a cry, renjun ran out of his room to peek at his parent's room, his mother was on the floor screaming as his father was kicking at her shin shouting out curses at her, his movement made a sound and his mother turned to look at her son while she was screaming in pain and mouths a "go...." but his father was too drunk to acknowledge his presence and continues to beat up his mother, renjun has tears on his face but he dared not to cry as his mother had always told him to always be strong and that brave people dont cry, he wants to be brave for his loving mother who bears with his father's bull everyday but this was too much, he ran up to his father his mother screams "RENJUN NOOOO" but this time he disobeys his mother and pushed him to the wall causing his father to almost hit his head but he had enough strength to regain his posture, his father mutters "you little ..." he punches his son in the stomach and kicks him forgetting about his mother while she screams for his father to stop but his father payed no heed, renjun's vision became blurry and he felt like he is blacking out and then his eyes gave out and the whole world turns black.

he opens his eyes to see his mother sitting beside his bed in his own room, her once beautiful face was swollen and bruised but she smiled fondly aty her son "hey injunnie....." he smiled up at his mother lifts up his shirt and asks his mother "Is there anything new? " he turned around for his mother to observe but his mother shook her head no and there was silence for a  moment until his mother pulls him in for a hug, kissing him, apologising over and over he was confused "mama whats going on???" she kissed her son's foreead a multiple times before reaching to her wallet and gave him a small envelope, her sad smile never leaves her face as she hands him the envelope with a backpack, he is even more confused "Injunnie my son.i need you to go to your cousin's house and live there for a couple of months, here is money i had saved up for you i packed moomin and your sketchbook and all your art stuff" renjun was even more confused "Mum..if i go then who will take care of you? what if he coems home again??" his mother smiles kindly and takes his hand "Injunnie mummy will be okay" your aunt will be here soon and she will take you to her house, you can have so much fun with chenle, i know how much you miss him" Renjun smiles "Yes i do" his mothers kissed his cheek and told him to dress up and get ready to leave, renjun notices that something wrong but his 12 year old mind just cant reach into it so he dressed up like his mom asked him to do. 

he hugs his mother one last time before he gets into his aunt's car he's gnna miss her soft skin and her comforting presence and then he gets in the car and his aunt gently shuts the car door and shechatted with his mother.

"Victoria.....i must do something or that Zitao mutt will do something bad to him please take care of my son i cant afford losing him" Victoria smiles sadly at her sister "renjun needs you why cant you just come with us instead of staying with a dog like him?" Feifei replies "its the only way i can protect him, you know zitao..he will hunt us down sooner than expected and i cant even imagine what he'll do to renjun he beats him too much i cant bear to see that no more, he is just a kid..he will surely kill him someday please take care of him please' she bows pitifully at her sister while victoria reacts rapidly and pulls her up, renjun  sees his mother giving a piece of paper to his aunt they both shed tears and said their goodbye, renjun was so confused on everything that had happened he waves at his mother as his aunt starts the engine and drove off he keeps on waving at his mother until her figure became just a tiny speck his aunt tries to cheer him up "Chenle is expecting you, he went mad when i told you you were staying with us that he disrupts his playing room" renjun laughs, he wants to see his childish litttle cousin he loves so much, he and his aunt chatted on random things and crack jokes
