Chapter 2: Tell Me It's Not Real
Ghost AllergyJennie walked straight to her room without even greeting her roommates who were still cleaning their dorm.
“Hey, Jen... oh, wow. She just ignored us.” Jisoo said.
“And she’s home early today.” Rosé noticed. “Oh no, did she lose her job?” Rosé worriedly said. “Poor Jennie.”
Once Jennie reached her room, she shut her door close and leaned against it, breathing heavily.
“What is happening to me?” She asked herself. “This is just a dream, right? This is not real.” She said and she pinch herself to prove herself she was just dreaming. “Ahh!” Jennie cried in pain. “Maybe this is a nightmare then?” Jennie giggled as if she was already losing her mind. “I’m going insane.” She started touching the tips of her hair and it between her fingers while giggling. “Is this the end of my world? Why am I like this? What was that voice that I heard while I was walking going here? Is that how conscience sounds like?” She kept asking.
“Miss, please I’m begging you. Help me. I mean no harm, so please stop freaking out.” There was the voice Jennie heard a while ago.
“W-who are y-you?” Jennie said with a trembling voice.
“Let me introduce myself. I’m Lisa. I’m standing in front of you right now. I don’t really get why you didn’t see me the first time we met but I understand now, I think I’m a ghost but I still can’t believe I am. But please, please help me.” Lisa pleaded. “I’m on my knees if only you could see me. I’m begging you.”
“A g-ghost? Ghosts are not r-real, are they?” Jennie said, still trembling in fear. “And of all people, why did you choose me to help you? I don’t want to get involved with your vengeance!”
“I’ve been asking for help for hours and no one seems to notice me, only you did. I just need your help to get me home. And I’m not even going to take my vengeance on anyone. I’m not a mad ghost.” Lisa explained. “So please, calm yourself down because I won’t hurt you.” Lisa assured Jennie. “But I have a question. Did you feel me patted your shoulder back there?” She asked and Jennie slowly nodded. “Huh, so you could feel my touch but how come my body could pass through the walls?” Lisa said, perplexed. Since Jennie couldn’t see Lisa, she attempted to touch Jennie’s arm but before she could even do, Jennie spoke.
“Don’t ever dare touch me! Please!” Jennie yelped in fright.
“You okay back there, Jennie?” Rosé called from outside of her room.
“Y-yeah! Don’t mind me! I uh...I’m just practicing my acting skills!” Jennie lied with a nervous laugh.
“So your name is Jennie?” Lisa asked.
“Seems like you’re a deaf ghost too.” Jennie sarcastically said and she formed a cross using her two index fingers.
“What are you doing?” Lisa laughed.
“I’m protecting myself from you!” Jennie said.
“I’m not a poltergeist okay, how many times should I tell you that I’m not going to hurt you?”
“How can I even trust someone that I can’t see?!”
“I promise and swear to God that I’ll be just in the corner standing and I won’t touch you.”
“C-corner?! Ugh, you’re just m
