It’s almost 5 month since she is here, she get friend, not that close, just friend who will be with her when break time. He will come to her when he need her, and she will come to him when she need him, for now..that’s their relationship. Although she considered new at that school, almost all student know her, thanks to the palm reader,

“Mom want me to give it to you,” he said while give her a lunch box, she open it then smile, “why are you late today?,” he asked, they didn’t come together this morning because she didn’t come out at the right time,

“Mom have night shift, and last night I’m working on something until late night, so..I get up late, there is no one who wake me up,” she said then eat her lunch, “sorry for made you waiting,” she said, “and, thank you for this,” she said.

“Today, it’s my fourth year,” he suddenly said something she couldn’t understand, so she just ignored it, “the ship sinking happen exactly 4 year ago,” he said, then now..she know what he is talking about,

“Are you okay?, you don’t need to tell me about that,” she said, then put down the lunch box,

“I was going to Jeju at that time with my dad to see my grandmom. Because I really want to go by ship, he finally buy 2 tickets for us,” he said, then looking at her, “to be continued,” he said, then bell ringing, Joohyun close her eyes,

“Hey, you want to write a drama script?,” she asked, “just..don’t tell me anything, if you are like this, it’s feel you still uncomfortable around me, so just don’t tell me..,” she said.

“I said to be continued because now..you must go to the class…Miss Bae,” he said then leave her after bowing, she really want to kick him hard.

They are walking side by side, Joohyun playing with a flower that she brought from school garden,

“I heard what happen today,” she said, he is lowering his head, “is it still hurt?,” she asked while trying to touching his cheek, but he is avoiding it,

“Not that okay.” Today, a girl slap him really hard because what he said become true. He said to her that, someday she’ll crying because of someone she love, then it turn out to be..her boyfriend want to broke up,

“Hmm, it’s still red.., your cheek,” she said then touching his cheek, “you should stop doing palm reading, when you touch someone hand, don’t tell them, just let it be, ” she said, but then she is in deep thought, “or just write it on a book, note book,” then she take out a note book from her bag, “I got it as a gift from my friends, I had other books,” she said while giving the notebook to him, he take the notebook then smiling,

“Then I’ll try it,” he said, put the notebook in his bag.

But, he couldn’t stop being a palm reader. There are some students who still come to him eventhough he said to them that he can’t do that. At that time, Joohyun already waiting for him in rooftop,

“Ahh..he said that we’ll meet here, where is he?,” she said, when she is looking around, she found him in school garden with bunch of students who want him to read their palm,

“Ehemm,” she want them to look at her, some of the students looking at her, “Taehyung-ah, I said to you to stop, right?,” she said. In this school, Joohyun famous as a thug like girl, she say what she want to say, she do what she want to do, some of her junior scared of her although she is new here,

“Ah..nuna..,” Taehyung look at her, “I’ll finish it, let’s meet at rooftop later,” he said, it make Joohyun little bit angry and walk to him,

“Dongsaeng-ah…, when is that later?, after this we’ll go home,” she said then looking at the students, “okay, the palm reader will close his business, so I hope all of you won’t ask him to read palm again,” she said, “aren’t you going to stand up, dongsaeng-ah,” Joohyun said while looking at Taehyung who look speechless.

On their way to go home, Joohyun keep silent, Taehyung doesn’t want to start conversation either, but then,

“Are you angry?,” he asked.

“Not really,” she said, then facing him, “you told me that it was hurt when someone called you palm reader, but that’s what you do in school, you are reading a palm, so they..and me called you by that,” then walking closer to him, “if you want them to stop calling you palm reader, then stop being palm reader, ” she said then looking at his bag,

“Why?,” he asked, knowing where she is looking,

“Do you even bring the note that I give?,” she asked, “did you even write something on that?,” Taehyung take the note from his bag and show her, she open it then smiling, “okay, I won’t read it, ” she said then give it back to him,

“You can read it if you want,” he said, want to give it back to her but she doesn’t want to read it, “why?,” he asked.

“Those are people’s future, right?, then..I don’t want to know anything about it, it’s like their secret,” she said, “it’s enough if it just you who know it, because god give you abilty to know that. If there is one of those people who need a help in the future, you can come to them before something bad happen, be a good man,” she said, when she is about to rubbing his head, he’s avoiding it, “why?,” she asked.

“I hate that,” he said then leave her.

“Why there are so many things that you hate?,” she asked then follow him.

Today’s sunset is beautifull, they watch it with smile, it’s like a hard day come to the end. Joohyun take out her camera,

“How many phote are there?,” Taehyung asked.

“I don’t know, I don’t count it. Someday I’ll print it out, all the photo here,” she said.

“I had one, like that too,” pointing at her camera, “but I lost that, a long with my bag,” it’s like he’s starting to tell her the story about the sinking ship,

“Where are those things now?,” she asked.

“I brought that, the day when I and my dad come to my grandmom’s house, the first photo I take with that camera was my dad, my dad who smile happily because that day was the day when he is going to meet his mother,” he said, Joohyun keep looking at him, “but I lost that, the camera, the first photo, and the one who are in the photo,” it’s like he is about to cry, so Joohyun stop him,

“To be continue,” she said jokingly, “you can tell me later for the next story,” she said, “stand there, I’ll take photo of you with the scenery I like,” she said then pushed Taehyung, he’s smiling while looking at the camera, “it come out nice,” she said then give it to Taehyung. They spent time there until dinner time come, they are arrive in front of her house, it’s still dark, a sign that her mother still at her work place,

“Let’s go to my house, my mom make something delicious tonight,” he said while trying to grab her hand,

“I’ll make ramen, I still have some in my house,” she said, trying to avoid him.

“You never come to my house since you are here, my mom want to meet you too, ” he said.

“I ever met her, when you were with her in supermarket,” she said, Taehyung smiling,

“What I mean, you never meet her in my house, never visiting her nor me,” he said, “so, let’s go,” he said then pull her to his house, there his mom already waiting for him,

“Oh, Joohyun-ie?,” she asked after saw Joohyun next to her son, “finally you come here, let’s go..let’s have dinner together,” she said then open the door for them.

After having dinner together, Taehyung ask her if she want to come to his room,

“It’s too fast for that,” she said with blushing cheek.

“For what?, your dongsaeng..want you to come to his room, why are you thinking too much?,” he asked, teasing the blushing t=cheek Joohyun, “we are still minor, do you think I’ll do something to you?,” he asked,

“It’s not like that, I come as your neighbor who doesn’t have any food to eat..and you told me to come to have dinner. So after having dinner and helping your mother to cleaning it, I must go home,” she said then standing, his mom come from the kitchen while bringing apple for them,

“Are you leaving?, just stay a little bit more, your mom will come home late,” she said.

“How did you know?,” she asked.

“I heard it, on my way to go home from market. She talked with someone through a phone call, she said that she’ll finish it tonight, she won’t asked another day to finish it, something like that?,” she said, Joohyun look sad.

“Haa..since coming here, I see her face less. She come when I wake up, then she sleep when I go to school, just sometime she’ll drive me to school.., some time..,” she is complaining about her mom, workaholic mom.

Then she is looking at Taehyung room’s door, she think will I know more about him and his secret if I open that door. I don’t know but I’m afraid of that..then she is looking at Taehyung,

“Then I’ll show you my room,” he said, “show me yours when I play to your house,” his mom give him a plate of apples to him, “let’s go,” he said.

Then after this…I’ll know more about you…know more about your secret and your pain. He open the door for her, there, his photo from baby until the first day of his junior school’s day hanging on his room wall, she is looking around, then found something under his study table,

“How?, the first time come to boy’s room?,” he asked.

“It’s not really my first time, last year I come to my best friend room, a male friend,” she told him,

“Really?, when you were 2^nd grade?, wahh..,” he’s clapping,

“What are you thinking?, I were there to do our homework, a team homework, we work with the other too, five people in that room,” she said, then he’s smiling.

They sit side by side, “is he your dad?,” she asked when she saw a photo on his study table, he is nodding, “he really look like you,” she said, “at least you have it,” she said, he look confused, “at least you have a photo with your dad,” she said.

“You don’t have?,” he asked her.

“Should I open my secret too?,” she asked, he’s smiling, “my parents, both worka holic. We never goes to any vacation, I said that because there is no memory we goes somewhere. Until that day when I’m crying because I want to have a family photo, mom, come at the place where we’ll take a family photo, we were eating while waiting for dad to come, but then..we got news that he is in hospital because of heart attack, at that time, I’m only 6 years old girl,” she told him one of her secret,

“You can stop it,you don’t have to tell me all of your story,” he said.

“I’ll tell you one when you told me one, ” she said then smiling.

“Okay, someday..I’ll tell you all of my secret,” he said.
