At that time, because of her mother job, she often moved from one city to another city. She was born in Daegu, and she already moved three time since the day she was born. Now, the fourth one, she dragged her to come to Seoul. Now she is 3^rd grade of middle scholar

“Just let me stay in Ulsan, I want to have close friends too,” she said, but her mom ignored her.

The next day, she come to her new school. Her new homeroom teacher tell her to look around the school while she have a talk with her mother. This school really the big one, and look different from her former school. When she is walking pass by the school garden, there is a crowd where some students standing in line,

“What is that?,” she asked, “hah, reading palm?, they believe it?,” because she doesn’t really like reading hand palm, she then keep straight. But then she heard someone say,

“He really know someone future, I come to him last week. He said to me be careful of stairs because I’ll fall there, and two days ago it happened, ” she said while showing her leg. Joohyun just smiling then she back to teacher’s room, there her mother bowing to her new homeroom teacher then leave her,

“Mom will go now, because our house not that far from school, you can walk . Mom will buy you a bicycle this weekend. Now, follow your homeroom teacher to your class,” she said then leave her after rubbing her head. Joohyun follow her homeroom teacher, on her way to her new class, there is the same coward, reading palm,

“Ah..they do it again to a new student,” the homeroom teacher said, then she enter the classroom, it’s 1^st grade class, “hey, don’t you hear the bell, why are you still here?,” she asked, after knowing there is a teacher there, all of student back to their class,

“So, the palm reader is a 1^st grade student?, ” Joohyun asked to herself,

“Taehyung-ah, you can ignore them. Just say that you hate it if you hate it,” the homeroom teacher said then leave the class.

“Ah, it’s a boy?, he just here for 3 months, but almost all the student come to see him to read palm. Then maybe, his prediction really accurate,” she said. The homeroom back to her,

“Ah, sorry, since last month, this class always like that,” she said then lead her again, “they said he is a fortune teller,” she said then open the class’s door,”let’s go.” she said.

Her first day as student there not that bad, the school is nice, her new friends look nice too. Now, she is looking for her new house, her mom give her the address , but she feel lost now so she keep following someone, but then when that someone turn his face,

“Okay, I’ll read your palm,” he said, Joohyun look confused. So, the one she is following is that palm reader,

“Ah, I just looking for my new house. Can I ask?,” Joohyun said while walking closer to him, he look embarrassed, “where is this address?,” she asked while giving her a piece of paper, her hand touched his,

“Ah, that house,” he said after read the address, not that far from their position. He give the paper back, at that time his hand touched hers, once again,

“Thank you,” Joohyun bowing, when she is about to leave him, he stop her,

“ehh, don’t buy a new bicycle,” he said, Joohyun clueless, “just walking, the school not that far from here,” he said then leave her. His house is right in front of her new house,

“What kind of coincidence is this?,” Joohyun said then enter her new house, “wait, should I believe it or not?he didn’t read my palm, right?, it’s just a little skinship, so he know just by that?, not palm reading?,” she start to think she then take a deep breath, then call her mom, “mom, I’m home,” she said, her mom answer ‘hmm’, “and, I think..from our house to my school not that far, so for now, no need to buy me bicycle,” she said.

“Then, we won’t buy it, but let’s go somewhere this weekend, Seoul is nice too,” she said,

“Because I don’t know your name, then let me know your name,” she said then stretching her hand, “I’m Joohyun, Bae Joohyun,” she said, then he reaching her hand.

“Taehyung, Kim Taehyung,” he said, her mom see that,

“Your new friend?,” she asked, because they’re wearing the same uniform,

“He is 1^st grade, our new neighbor,” Joohyun said,

“Ah, you told me about him last night,” she said, Taehyung look curious what she told about him, “let’s go with us,” she said then opening the car door, “don’t be shy, don’t be afraid, we won’t do something bad,” she said, then he is slowly walking to the car, because it’s so slow, Joohyun push him to the back seat, once again her hand touched his,

“Just sit here, if you want to be regular, then you must come out from your house around this time, then treat me at school,” she said jokingly.

“Bae Joohyun, stop it..,” her mom warned her.

In the school, he look awkward around her, he always walking behind her,

“You want to go first?,” Joohyun asked, “then go, you said thank you to me and mom..it’s enough,” she said then smile, but he want her to just walking straight, he will be behind her, “what a strange boy,” she said. Taehyung walking while looking at the third floor, the window is a little bit strange, it’s like….then Taehyung pull Joohyun before it fall, Joohyun look startled,

“What are you doing?,” she said when she know he held her hand, then..pyarr…window glass that too old fall from third floor. Joohyun then looking at the broken window glass then looking at him, “wow..it was really fast,” she said.

“You are okay, right?. Then, I’ll go first,” he said then leave him.

“Who let him to be that cool,” she said then smiling shyly. A lot of people gathered when they heard that an old window fall from third floor. Joohyun homeroom teacher even brought her to school clinic,

“I’m fine miss,” she said, so her homeroom teacher will be calm down, “it didn’t hit me, Taehyung help me,” she said, “it just scratch little bit,” she show her hand that had a scratch because of the glass, the homeroom teacher looking at her hand,

“Then you must be shocked, just rest little bit, you can comeback to the class later,” she said then leave her. Maybe she know from her mom that if she get shocked over something, she’ll need sometime to recover.

She then sleep tightly, until someone come,

“Aren’t you overacting?,” he asked making her shocked for the second time,

“Ah, you startled me, ” she said, “it’s not overacting, my homeroom teacher told me to take a rest,” she said then looking at clock, “I’ll back to the class after this,” she said, then she saw banana milk and bread on the table, “what is that?,” she asked while pointing.

“You can’t tell what’s that?, banana milk and bread,” he said, “it’s my treat because your mother drive me here,” he said, then she is get up to take “and, I just want to know, how much your mother know about me?,” he asked.

“What?,” she look confused, then after knowing what he mean, “ah..I just told her that you help me to find the house, eventhough you suspected me as your stalker before,” she said then eat again, “I won’t tell her about your abilty, don’t worry,” she said, “I thought you are a palm reader, because I saw you read their palm, but you are not.”

“Hmm, I’m having this strange ability since 3 years ago, after involved in sinking ship,” he suddenly told her about his story.

“No need to tell me that now, it’ll be weird when I know that secret too. I just know you yesterday, but you’ll tell me about those secret. Just save it for now, let me know it when you feel comfortable enough to tell me,” she said then standing after finishing eating, “let’s go,” she said. On their way to their class, he keep walking behind her, “is something going happen to me again?,” she asked, he is smiling after heard that, “let me know before it happen then,” she said.

“No, I just want to walk like this, ” he said, then she keep walking,

“Thank you for the treat and for saving me, tomorrow my mom will drive you again, as gratitude for saving me,” she said when both of them standing in front of his class, then she is leaving him.

When she arrived in her class, her classmate suddenly come to her,

“Are you okay?,” they asked.

“Hmm, I’m okay, don’t worry. Thank you for asking,” she said, then suddenly two girls run to her,

“Are you close to the palm reader?, that 1^st grade boy,” one of them asked,

“Palm reader?,” she asked them back.

“We saw you and him comeout from school clinic, and you had conversation with him in front of his class, are you close to him?,” the other asked again.

“I just know him yesterday, we are live in the same neighborhood,” she said, “is there anything you want to know again?,” then start putting her head on the table when the girls leave her.

She keep looking outside her house while waiting for her mother. She said that she has night shift, she can’t go with her this weekend because she need a rest. Joohyun calling her mother,

“Ah, it’s really . I still don’t have a friend, I want to go out with you, so I can know Seoul more,” she said, “when you already promise to take me out today, why you must take night shift yesterday?,” she asked, her mother trying to explain everything so she won’t misunderstand, “okay, then get home first, take a rest.” Then end the call, that time Taehyung come from market with his mother, he bring a lot of food, “should I ask him to accompany me?,” she asked to herself, then decided to ask him. She is all smile when he open the door,

“Why are you smiling like that?,” he asked.

“Ohhh…,” she look hesitating, when he is about to close the door, “you can go with us again for the next week, but..would you come with me today?,” she asked.

“Where?,” he asked her back,

“I want to know Seoul more, my mom promised me to go with me today, but she couldn’t because she had night shift, so now she need take a rest,” she explain her situation.

“Then..just search it from the internet, you’ll know a lot of things about Seoul from there,” he said, she close her eyes, trying to hold her anger,

“Mr. Palm reader, people need to know the real thing too, not just from someone point of view. Just say it you can’t go then, why you must said something like that,” then leave him. Not long after that, her mom come, she look tired. She even doesn’t notice her daughter making a warm ginger tea for her, when she is reading a novel that her close friends gave to her as their last gift, someone ring the bell, so she take a look who is the one who rang the bell,

“What is he doing there?,” she asked then open the door for him, “welcome, mr Kim, is there something I can do for you?,” she said, Taehyung smiling because she look really upset after what he did to her earlier.

“Let’s go,” he said, “you said that you want to know Seoul,” he said.

“You said to me to just search it from internet, I just did that a while ago, Mr. Kim,” she said.

“Then let’s go the real place. You’ll look the scenery from your point of view, ” he said, she look confused, “should we go or not?,” when he asked that, then she runs to change her clothes.

On their way to the place, Taehyung let her know what kind of place is that,

“It’s just a hill. Near here, there is a nice hill, from there we can see how busy this city is, and we can see the sunset,” he told her.

“The reason we go at this time, is it because of sunset?,” she asked.

“Hmm, that’s right, ” he said. Here they are, he give her a drink so she can see it while drink the hot chocolate that his mother made for them,

“You told her that we go to this hill?,” she asked.

“You didn’t tell your mother?,” he asked her back.

“I told her through a memo, she is sleeping now, I couldn’t wake her up,” she said then drink the hot chocolate, “wah..it’s really beautifull, right?. Should we come here every weekend?,” she asked, after heard that he is chocking up, “why?.”

“You like something like this?,” he asked, she is nodding, “then should I know something else about you?,” he asked, she look confused, “let’s getting to know each other from now on,” he said, then she is smiling.
