Jungkook remained at his seat still reading your diary. He remembered the first night of intimacy the two of you had shared, and he had held that memory close to his heart. Because it was consensual, because you didn’t push him away, he thought you had loved him and he thought that you knew he loves you.

Yet the thought of that night had caused Jungkook to feel like all the air had been out of him. That night, Jungkook gave you a piece of his heart. Perhaps not 100% of his whole heart, but a big chunk of it like 80% nonetheless. Jungkook found himself wondering if he knew what's love, and if love was enough even if he didnt give you his whole heart.

Was 80% not enough to be called love though? Was it only love if it was 100%? Was it not love despite him aching over and over again, wishing he had seen this diary of yours earlier? Wishing he could make things right?

To Jungkook, his worries stemmed  from his attachment issues and from witnessing how his parents ended up; in divorce and the shards of their relationship hurting everyone else in the process. Thus, Jungkook had been afraid to become attached to you, worrying that the two of you would end up like his parents did. That one day he’d hurt and pushed you to the point where you’d drink so much and the two of you would be divorced.

It was ironic though, that despite not wanting to hurt you, Jungkook had still inflicted hurt upon you, with him only finding it out now. Yet, Jungkook was still confused as to why couldn’t you tell that he had feelings for you, especially since he had planned a honeymoon for the both of you shortly after that night.

Jungkook had proposed going to on a honeymoon, to commemorate the marriage between the two of you. You thought that it was weird to have a honeymoon for a fake marriage though and you voiced that out to Jungkook.

“W-well, a honeymoon won’t do us any hurt. Besides, it can be like a vacation!” Jungkook masked his real reason and gave you an excuse. He wanted to propose on going to a honeymoon because he had started to take and see you as his wife. He had wanted to change for you and to perhaps make this marriage work or last longer than the contract stated. But your question had caught him off guarded, and he wasn’t prepared to tell you that he loves you.

“Okay”, you grinned at Jungkook, a warm buzzy feeling was spreading through your insides. You were glad that Jungkook had proposed a honeymoon with you and caught yourself wondering there were perhaps anything more to this honeymoon, if perhaps, Jungkook had fallen for you.

The two of you had decided on going to Japan to mainly because you had wanted to stay at the inn where Mr Yasujiri Oro had composed most of his work of poetry. Jungkook had accommodated to your destination because he knew you were a fan of Mr Yasujiri Oro and he had thought that he could bring you to see the cherry blossoms that were in bloom.

The day of the Honeymoon approached and the two of you took a taxi to the airport together since it would have been impossible to park your cars at the carpark while you guys were out of the country. During the flight, Jungkook and you trying to make polite conversation with each other which was a little weird considering the two of you had had and this was a honeymoon. After a few hours flight, the two of you were tired and really nervous to say the least.

It was really the nerves inside you and Jungkook though, that were knotting up and making the two of you act more politely than usual. You didn’t know where the relationship stood exactly after that night, was it still a fake marriage or was it not? Whereas Jungkook didn’t know how to act around you especially when he was trying to come to terms with his feelings for you.

Initially, you were really excited for the trip. You wanted so badly to stay at the Inn that Mr Yasujiri oro had stayed in and you were kind of curious as to how Jungkook would treat you while the two of you were overseas.

There was always that saying in which your partner’s true colors will be revealed as you go on an overseas trip, right? And so, you had wanted to use this trip to determine if Jungkook had any feelings for you.

But nothing happened as the two of you had planned. The inn that Mr Yasujiri Oro had stayed in was rather far from town, and the two of you had to hitch-ride for a transport to that area. However, there was still a far walking distance from where the two of you were to the Inn.

You took out the map containing directions to the Inn and passed it to Jungkook who tried to lead the two of you to the inn. After half an hour, the two of you realized that you were walking in circles and that you were nowhere closer to where the two of you had started from.

By this time, the two of you were hungry and mildly frustrated at each other. You could see Jungkook’s jaw clenching as he tried to hold in his frustration. So, you tried to ask any passers-by for directions to the Inn. However, the both of you were not very fluent in Japanese so asking the locals for help was akin to no-help at all.

You hated that Jungkook didn’t tried to help you nor help to find a way to the inn. From the map to asking passers-by for help, it had all been your doing and your effort. Slowly, your anger got the better of you and you snapped at Jungkook.

“Why’re you of no help at all?”
