L's POV

That's it.

I just let her go.

I felt so sad but life has to move on, right?

Grandma called me again.

'Hello Myungsoo ah!' she cheered over the phone.

'Grandma! What's got you so excited?' I asked the delighted old lady.

'Yoona's finally getting married!' she announced.

I felt.. I don't know how to explain it.

I was hurt.

Even after moving on here to Japan to study, hoping to forget her, I just couldn't.

It has already been three years since that day..

'Oh.. okay.. That's good Grandma' I replied, trying to sound happy.

'Do you want to talk to her?' she asked.

'No.. I-I need to rush for class now' I lied.

'Oh in that case, run along then. Take care of yourself!'

'Yes Grandma! Bye!'

'Bye'

I hang up the phone.

I didn't know what happened. I couldn't feel my legs anymore.

I fell to the cold floor of my apartment.

A few days later, an invitation dropped by my place.

I stared hard at the groom's name.. Nam Woohyun.

I hope it would be me.. Kim Myungsoo..

Should I go?

Then, my phone rang.

'Hello?' I answered.

'L! Best friend!' a girl voice greeted over the phone.

There is no mistaking it. Its her voice.

The voice that I had been longing to hear for the past 3 years.

The voice that I had not heard for the past 3 years.

'Yoona?' I asked in surprise.

'Yes! Glad you still recognise my voice! I'm now in the airport in Korea. I'll be arriving there in Japan in 4 hours. Bye!' she said before she hung up.

YOONA'S COMING??!!!!!!!!!! OMO OMO!!!!!

I quickly cleaned the apartment.

Good thing that I'd been keeping it clean and it just required a short time.

I rushed to the supermarket.

Strawberries.. She loves them...

Toothbrush, toothpaste, she'll need them..

And a whole lot of other things..

I also bought a bouqet of flowers to brighten up my dull apartment.

I'm now in the airport.

I don't know why but I'm grinning to myself.

'Stop it L. She's engaged. ' I tried controlling myself.

'Ladies and Gentlemen, the flight from Seoul, South Korea has just arrived. Please wait outside Belt 3' a lady announced over the speaker.

She's here.

I waited at the arrival area, with a clear view of those going out.

After around 15 mins of waiting, scanning people who are coming out, I finally see her.

She was smiling and looking at me.

Beautiful, as always.

My heart starting beating fast again as she moved closer.

'Oppa' she greeted me.

'Hello!' I greeted back , 'Let me help you with that' I offered to take her bags.

'No, its okay' she replied.

'I insist'

'I already said that I'm fine'

I accidentally touched her hand.

Delicate, soft.

I immediately looked away.

'If you say so' I relented.

'Your place is so nice!' she complimented.

'Thanks' I replied.

She's still giving me that smile.. Stop that, Yoona. You're making me fall for you again.

'Sleep, you must be tired' I said.

'No. Let's talk.. Its been a long time' she said.

I sat down next to her at the sofa.

'I heard you are getting married next week' I said.

'Yes' she replied.

'Congratulations!' I said, forcing out a smile.

'You? Had you found her yet?' she asked me with those doe eyes.

'N-no' I stuttered out.

Then there was an awkward silence.

'How is Woohyun?' I asked, trying to break the awkwardness.

'He left for USA' she replied.

'What? I thought you followed him that day?' I asked back.

'I realised my heart doesn't belong to him' she replied back.

'But you're getting married to him!' I said.

'No. That's fake' she replied.

'Fake?' I asked.

'Yes. F.A.K.E. FAKE' she replied sarcastically, staring at me.

'Why did you fake it?' I asked.

She took out a letter from her jeans pocket.

It looked oddly familiar.

'To know if you're feelings for me hasn't changed' she replied, gicing me the letter.

I opened it.

Its the letter I wrote to her.

I looked back at her.

'So what if my feelings for you still hasn't changed yet?' I asked, my heart racing.

'Then let's get married' she replied.

'You just finished studying. You have a whole future ahead of you and I want to be a part of it.. as your wife' she continued.

I was just stunned.

'Keep your promise' she said, throwing me a book before going to her room to sleep.

I opened the book at the bookmarked page.

Her diary.

Yes, our promise.. To marry each other.

I smiled.

I opened the door to her room and saw her sleeping on the bed under the blanket.

I lied down next to her, wrapping my arms around her.

I could feel her thin body , I could smell her scent..

'I know you'd come' she said, wobbling me.

'So how? What's your decision?' she asked, looking at me with that pretty face.

Doe eyes.

Tempting lips.

'Answer m-'

I shut her up with a kiss.

A passionate one.

I broke the kiss and saw her shocked, blushing expression.

'Cute' I said.

'Cute' I said again.

'Let's get married' I said.

'MOM!! DAD!! WAKE UP!! I'M HUNGRYYYY!!!!!!!' Kim MyungYoon screamed her head off.

'Dad's awake!' I replied.

'GET UP!!! I"M HUNGRYY!!!!' she whined, jumping on our bed.

'Aishh.. Okay' I said, scratching my head.

'Thank you Dad!' she said cutely, giving a smile.

'Should we wake up Mom too?' she asked.

I looked over at the sleeping figure next to me.

I smiled.

Still pretty.

I wiped her hair out of her face.

'No' I replied.

'Let's do a surprise for her' I said the little angel.

'SURPISE !!! YAY!!' she cheered as she clapped her hands.

Yoona's POV

I woke up.

L's not next to me.

He is probably out jogging or something.

I must prepare breakfast.

But what's that smell?

I followed the wonderful aroma and when I reached the kitchen.

'SURPRISE!!' the two most important people in my life cheered.

I smiled widely as I saw their smiling faces and the breakfast that they cooked.

'Yeobo, you made all these for me?' she asked me, full.

'Yes.. With Myungyoon's help' I replied.

Myungyoon smiled with full, forming two lumps at her cheeks, like a chipmunck.

'Aigooo.. My two cute chodings; I said .

I saw her blush.

Its been a while since I saw that.

'Mom, Dad.. Why don't you dance? The one that Cinderella and her Prince did in their wedding! ' Myungyoon requested.

What to do?

The little one controls us in her palms..

We stood up and danced,.

'Look at what you'd given birth too' I told Yoong.

'She's also your child for goodness sake' she replied.

'But she's got more of your genes' I protested back.

'YAY!!!!' Myungyoon cheered, giving a cute smile.

'Thanks honey' I hugged her.

'Thanks for giving me a wonderful angel.. Thanks for being mine.

Yoona hugged me back.

She smiled.

'I love you'

'I love you too' I replied, before giving her a kiss.

'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW!! I'm watching too, you know?' Myungyoon whined, her hands covering her eyes.

'She is really your child' she said to me.

'But she looks more like you'

'You helped in creating her!'

'Whatever!

'YAA!'
