My alarm rang. I sighed as I got up. Another school day..

But hey, at least Yoona is there.

Yoona is my bestfriend. Well, ever since she came here in America years ago. Now we are in our final year of high school.

I freshened up before going out. Yoona just live nextdoor so we always go to school together.

As usual, she was reading her book at the bench in front of her house.

'Yoona'

'Hello! What's up' she greeted back. Despite being in America, we always converse in Korean to remember our roots.

'Let's go!' I said as we walked to school.

'Woohyun oppa' she started.

'Yes?' I asked back.

'Since this is the last week of school, I am going back to Korea next week'

'That's good!' I said.

'Going back for good' she added

'Ohh..' I replied. A frown formed on my face.

That day, I felt very sad. I didn't have this feeling before. My heart was hurting. Well, I guess it's because I will miss my bestfriend, right?

So, I decided to talk to my parents.

'Mum, Dad'

'Yes son?' they asked.

'Is it okay if I go back to Korea? For good?' I asked back.

'Why? You don't like it here?' they asked again.

'No, it's not that.. It's.. I just want to go back and experience living in Korea. I'm Korean after all. And I also want to visit grandma' I explained.

They looked at each other and said 'Okay! We believe that you are now matured. You are welcome to come back anytime, though'

'Thanks Mum, Dad!'

I was very happy and couldn't stop smiling.

I called Yoona.

'YOONA!!!' I shouted happily.

'OMO OMO OMO, OPPA. Relax.. What's allt his commotion?' she asked.

'I'M GOING BACK TO KOREA TOO!'

'REALLY?!'

'YES!'

'THAT's GOOD! So we'll go back together?'

'YES!'

'See you then. Bye!'

'BYE!' I said as I hung up the phone.

Korea, here I come. With Yoona.
