Chapter 8,

It was Saturday and once I got up to find I'd have to wear my uniform around I instantly pouted. At times I found it so uncomfortable.

Because of that uncomfortableness I found myself in this situation. I glance to my right at Dohwan who was trailing alongside me.

“Dohwan, why do you insist on coming with me?” I say as the elevator opens to my floor of the apartment complex. I was getting clothes from my place today, my mom had a part time job on Saturdays and she rarely was off so I figured today at this time would be the best time to go.

“Because I don’t want you touching someone and running away on me.” He smiles softly in my direction.

“I wouldn’t run away.” I mutter, at least I wouldn’t run away from him. In fact I’d probably run to him.

As I reach the door to my apartment I enter the code and the door unlocks. I open it and step inside listening for any sound of anyone inside. Like I suspected everyone was out for the day.

I sigh relieved opening the door fully and stepping inside, Dohwan following behind. I go straight to my room, he follows glancing at every piece of my place that he could.

I quickly gather my things as a Dohwan checks my room out.

I grab a bag and start to throw some sleep clothes into, moving to my underwear drawer. I don’t even think whenever I open it and begin shoving random ones into the bag.

Dohwan awkwardly clears his throat and I’m suddenly aware of what I’m doing. Although I was blushing I couldn’t not for being awkward. “Who’s thinking dirty thoughts now?”

He shakes his head. “Still you.” He turns away laughing to himself.

I move to my bathroom and open my pad drawer. I sigh to myself seeing that it was empty. I used my last one this morning. I was hoping I'd still have some here. I step back into my room to find my hair brush and hair ties.

After I’m finished gathering everything else I need we step out into the hall. As we near the door I heard the code being put in outside and my heart almost stops. Who was it?

The door opens and in steps both of my sisters, my mom trailing behind them. I swallow as my eyes connect with my little sister who I haven't seen since my dad died. I also haven't seen my older sister since she moved out for college two years after Hyunmin had died. She was the oldest child in the family.

I halt in my spot, Dohwan behind me.

The three women before me stared in what looked to be shock at the sight before them. The shock that I had a friend.

I clear my throat. “I uh-was just getting my stuff. I’ll leave now.” I go to move but I couldn’t since they were blocking the door.

They still were all staring at Dohwan. Dohwan glances at me confused.

“Um hello.” Dohwan finally breaks the silence.

“Who are you?” My younger sister bombards him a smile on her face.

Dohwan awkwardly glances at me. I didn’t know what to do, I wasn’t expecting to run into them.

Dohwan clears his throat. “I’m Woo Dohwan, I go to school with Taeran.” He gestures towards me.

She nods giving him the once over.

“What are you doing here exactly?” My older sister speaks up confused.

Again Dohwan glances at me as if waiting for me to speak but I lower my gaze. “Well I-.” He starts.

“He’s my friend.” I interrupt glancing at my family. They still seem confused.

Dohwan scoffs a bit. “We’re a little more than friends I’d say.” He moves forward to stand beside me. I whip my head in his direction. “I mean we’ve kissed and obviously have feelings for one another so...” He trails off. My eyes widen, why did he tell them that?
