Mir loves his Joon hyung, he really does. Joon hyung is caring, loving and he always helps him with pranks even though at the end of the day, it's always Mir who receives the final punishments. Overall, he is a nice guy and a dream brother, but he has this one little thing about him that Mir finds quite amusing.

See, Mir is convinced that he is a robot.

Nobody ever believes him but Mir is serious. He's not a liar. Maybe a bit of a prankster but not nearly as big as his hyungs always make him out to be. His three other hyungs just laugh at him when he tells them his suspicions of Joon being a robot, thinking he’s joking. But he isn't. And he can prove it!

First of all, there are only two settings for Joon: grumpy and cheery. And Joon is only grumpy when his batteries are almost empty. Really! When this happens, he's moping around with sluggish movements and always falling asleep everywhere. He's slow at answering, which only means his data analyzing skills have slowed down tremendously, and he's always cuddly even when he's telling people to leave.

But Mir never leaves because he knows his hyung's little secret.

And whenever Joon's batteries are running low, Mir knows exactly what to do. Cuddle. Hug. Kiss. Anything that shows how much he loves Joon because the elder's batteries are recharged with love. And it works every time, too, so Mir doesn't understand why his other hyungs don't believe him. But then again, they aren't always there either. Maybe it's a useless cover-up, a secret deal to keep their origins unknown. Useless, because Mir already knows all about them.

But back to his robot hyung.

Mir thinks it's cool. His very own robot hyung, who he knows how to fix and handle. He's even better than Seungho in that, and Seungho if anyone is good with his hands! Joon sure walks like a human, talks like a human and even reacts like a human - when his batteries aren't running out of course, so it's easy to get confused.

This day seems to be one of those days where Joon is nearing the end of his batteries, Mir notices. Why else would the other lie like a dead fish on the sofa, mouth hanging open and eyes staring at nothing? The TV is on for an excuse but who is he trying to fool: there is no way he's watching it. Mir bets he doesn't even know what's on at the moment.

Still, it is so very endearing for him to try.

He chuckles and alerts Joon about his presence. The older snaps his head at him and looks like he's at a loss of words, caught off guard.

"O-oh, you came?" he asks as he shifts to make him some room, forcing himself to sit like a normal person would. Mir hums but says nothing as he joins him on the sofa, eyes scanning the TV.

"So, what's on?"

"Um, uhh... A show?"

Mir laughs, "Of course, hyung."

Neither of them decides to talk after that and it gets silent. Mir isn't that bothered, he knows what's up after all. He only feels a pang of pity in his heart when his eyes catch Joon already half asleep next to him. How will his hyung ever cope without him around. He scrunches his nose at that thought: he won’t. 

But Mir has decided he doesn't really mind about having to take care of his hyung without him asking or even noticing. In fact, he very much likes having this much responsibility as the youngest. It makes him feel important, so there's really no harm done. Besides, he already has a plan to help him out again; he just isn’t sure how exactly he’ll get it work, but for starters, he needs Joon’s attention.

"Hey, hyung," he calls and Joon hums, too lazy to open his eyes. Mir is sure this will work. He grabs Joon's hand and clings on it, hugging it tight. Joon groans and Mir is assured that it really is working.

"Don't be so clingy," the older complains but doesn't actually do anything to shake him off. See? This is exactly what he's been talking about. And to prove his theory even further, Mir is about to do something very risky: he will completely recharge his hyung at once.

"Hey, hyung," Mir repeats as he pulls his face closer to Joon. Joon raises his brow as he opens his eyes but Mir prevents him from pulling away, "No, just a little closer..." Joon gives him a look but unconsciously leans closer himself, too. Mir grins and once he deems the distance to be close enough, he gives his hyung a pearly smile.

And then his hyung's face from his chin to the tip of his nose.

It takes Joon a moment to register what the heck just happened but when he sees Mir slip his tongue back to his mouth, he freaks out.

"WHAT THE HECK? YOU- YOU- YOU ME?"

Mir cackles at his mortified expression when he furiously wipes his face clean from his saliva. "I kissed you," he decides to correct before the other would get a glitch in his system. Joon blinks, dazed by the sudden charge of energy, and then gets confused.

"You what?"

"I kissed you. That was a cow's kiss," Mir informs with a shrug like it is nothing out of ordinary. Well, for a farming boy like him it really isn't. After all, his family tends to get rather playful at times and Mir has received his fair share of cows' kisses.

Joon seems to be baffled again but then he simply shakes it off and retorts with whatever his foggy mind can offer: "But cows don't kiss!"

Mir scoffs, "Well maybe you haven't been kissed by one but I have, so I know what I'm talking about." Joon's eyes start to sparkle and he leans closer. Mir tries not to yelp in joy after it becomes clear that his plan had worked.

"Really? Tell me more!"

And so it happens that Joon gets really fascinated with cow's kisses, and when the other members come home, he pounces on them and their faces. It is needless to say they all are very confused. But when Joon starts talking about how Mir told him all about cow's kisses, Mir knows it's time to slip into his room. He isn't in danger until Seungho comes home, unhappy to have his face .

"MIIIIIIIIIRRRR!" comes the shout and Mir tries to lock the door. Maybe he should just go to sleep without dinner? Yeah, that sounds like a plan. At least he managed to cheer Joon up and that's what matters the most, right?
