It' been almost a minute before Joohyun lead Wendy to one of the guest room in the house with the help of her dad's subordinate. The blonde was left unconcious because of drinking too much alcohol.  After making sure that Wendy was already lying comfortably unto the matress,Joohyun decided to exit the room silently before carefully closing the door.

As soon as she goes back to the garden,everyone were still there yet some of them were already dozing off,heads slump on top of the table while the others continue doing their own stuff.

Joohyun decided to walk on the other way since she realize that she has nothing to do there. Her feet brought her to the nearest empty area where silence filled up the place. Slowly,she took the empty seat infront of the small fountain and spread her limbs on her side before lifting her head up to stared at the sky.

Sparkling stars greeted her sight and her lips automatically tug at the corner. The silence somewhat makes her feels comfortable.

A chilly breeze roll by and she suddenly shiver. She hugs herself with her arms to lessen the cold yet it's useless because she can still feel it. She wanted to mentally scold herself for not bringing a jacket with her but she knows it's too late to do that. So instead she just presses her hand together before rubbing it and pressing it on both side of her face to warm it up. And it somewhat effective,thankfully.

She heave a sigh as she lifted her head back gazing at the sparkling stars up the sky. A faint smile grazes her lips before a past event flashes back into her mind.

"What are you talking about?" Joohyun gave her butler a quizzical look. They were currently standing face to face on the porch of the mansion. After eating their breakfast,Joohyun decided to catch up some fresh air outside while waiting for Wendy because the blonde was still changing up inside her room. Her butler,Taehyung suddenly pop out from her behind and started making conversation with her.

Her butler told him something yet she still couldn't comprehend so she asked him to elaborare her words to her. 

Her butler heave a sigh as he slowly take a step ahead of her,hands clasp behind his back. "You should be the first one to recognize her,Miss"Her butler look over his shoulder before he continue with his word" the young girl who save your life 12 years ago"

Joohyun's eyebrow furrowed at her butler's words. It only makes it more difficult for her to understand what he's trying to say. "I don't still get it"

Taehyung finally face her direction after a couple of minute. His face turn serious as he lock his gaze unto her. 

"Son Seungwan...that's the name of the girl who save your life 12 years ago" Joohyun's eyes slowly widen at her butler's confession,mouth parted in surprise. "W-what?" That's the only words comes out from ,she can't believe what she just heard earlier.

The girl who save her life 12 years ago when the car was about to bump unto her. Her savior who's the reason why she was still alive. The girl who she owed her whole life with was just  right here the whole time? How come she didn't recognize her in the first place? How come she's been this so naive? 

 "How-"Joohyun suddenly cut off her own words when she felt the difficulties of expressing her thoughts. Her butler didn't say a words after that but instead he walks over and approaches Joohyun direction again.  

"How did you know that it's her?"she asked almost a whisper. 

"Because I was there when she was brought in the emergency room"

"But why I didn't recognize her?"

Taehyung shrug"Maybe because of your trauma. You don't want to remember anything about those accident so maybe that's the reason why you didn't recognize her"

"How bout Seungwan? Did she know?"

"I'm doubting about that" he paused"I think she's still oblivious about it"

Joohyun open her eyes again as a deep sigh suddenly escape from . Those conversation between her and her butler Taehyung were messing up her mind since this morning.  She's still contemplating if she should let Wendy know about this things,that she's the girl who she save 12 years ago in an accident.

What's for if Wendy know? Unless,it will change anything between them. 

If destiny wants Wendy to know everything,it will going to happen. So maybe,it will be better not to tell her anything right because Joohyun didn't want to force things to happen. 

She owed her whole life to Wendy and she will make sure to pay it back. 

"Looks like someone is being emo here"Someone suddenly speak behind her back and the voice is somewhat familiar to her. 

Joohyun's eyes suddenly widen as she swiftly turn her head to face the direction of it's source the moment she finally recognize the owner of the voice.

There,standing just a meter from where she is,is a smiling woman with a bear-like face and a mono-lid eye. 

"Hello unnie,long time no see"the woman uttered but Joohyun didn't manage to greet her back when she suddenly rushes towards her direction and literally throw herself at the smiling bear and engulf her in long tight hug. 

The other woman was a little bit surprise at the latter's action yet she stil manage to return the hug while chuckling a bit. 

It lasted a couple of minute before they finally broke the hug. 

"You pabo!"Joohyun suddenly smack the latter's head and a loud groan escape from "Ouch unnie! Is that how you welcome your sister?"The woman whine in complain while pressing a hand on her head to ease the pain. 

"That's your punishment"

"Punishment?"

"Yes! Because your late"

"But you know how far is New York from here"

"But still! Your late"

"I can't believe it"the younger scoff"Your acting childish again,unnie"

"What did you just say?"Joohyun give her sister a glare and the latter decided to just surrender because she know if she tried to opposed her once more she will only ended up being smack again.

"Nothing"she muttered and pouted her lips together. The gesture was enough to swiftly changes the older's mood as she flashes her smile unto her sister. The latter felt wary at the sudden mood swing of the older woman as she took a small step backward but Joohyun immediately grab her wrist to stop her,a wider grin now grazing her lips. 

"Yah! Unnie! Stop that! You looks scary!"The younger complained. 

"I'm what?"Joohyun quirk an eyebrow and the younger unconciously gulp her saliva.

"Your...your pretty unbelievable unnie"the younger girl fake a smile. Joohyun give her a longer look and it somewhat made the younger felt more nervous. 

"You should learn to manage your stuttering when your lying at me,you pabo!"Joohyun laugh and soon the younger followed suit. 

As soon as their laughter dies down,Joohyun slowly clung at her sister's arm and give her a smile"Though your still a pabo"she paused"I did still miss you,Seul"

"Stop calling me pabo. I'm a grown up woman now~"Seulgi whine and that made Joohyun crack up into a loud laughter again.

"Looks like your having sime fun time here together,huh"A deep voice caught up both their attention as they snap their head in unison at the man. 

 "Waz'up dad!"Seulgi greeted as she raise her hands up to give her dad a high-five but Mr. Bae suddenly counter it with his fist which only make the younger pouted more"Is that how you two give me a warm welcome?"she scoff

"We only did miss you,Ddeulgi"

"Aish,unnie~I said stop it!"Seulgi shot her sister a glare but it only made the childish woman laugh. "Aish dad~what did you do to this bunny that she became so childish like this?~"Seulgi whine again. Her dad only shrug his shoulder and give her a sympathetic smile. 

"Okay Hyunnie,stop making fun of your sister"Her dad finally chimed in

"But I'm still enjoying it,dad"Joohyun uttered playfully"Ddeulgi is cute when she's this frustrated"

"Yah!"Seulgi shove Joohyun away from her and the brunette chuckled a bit. 

Mr. Bae bit on his lips to hide the smile that is threatening to creep out of his mouth. But when he feel that he could no longer hold it,a wholehearted laughter  suddenly escape from his mouth. 

Both Joohyun and Seulgi snap at the man. There is this look of astonishment playing on both of their eyes yet a genuine smile escape from both them as soon as they saw their dad laughing like he just saw something that is so funny. 

This is one of those rare moments wherein they could finally see their dad laughing like this and being careless,usually he was just in his office doing his own personal stuff or giving orders to his subordinate etc. 

"I think I have too many reason to celebrate tonight"Seulgi uttered and both Joohyun and her dad(who had just finally recover from his laughter)look at her questioningly.

Seulgi put her arms around her dad's shoulder"Then,let's celebrate it together dad. What do you think? It's a great idea,right?" she saud while wiggling her eyebrow at the man.

Mr. Bae put his index finger on his chin tapping it for a moment before placing it down"Yeah,I think that's a great idea"he said

Seulgi smile before looking back at her sister"How 'bout you unnie? Wanna come?"

"No. I think I'll just go upstair and rest"Joohyun uttered and Seulgi just nodded her head in understanding. 

"Well I think it will be the two of us again,dad"

"Your going to lose on me again,little"

"Hah! Don't underestimate me dad. I'm sure I'll going to win this time" Seulgi retort proudly. 

Joohyun just simply rolled her eyes at the two's usual bantering of who is better in drinking alcohol,again. They always been doing that even before. Seulgi always argue that her dad is getting older and that his tolerance on alcohol is getting low as days pass by while her dad always counter it with you have nothing compared to me,I'm still better than you,little. 

The two left Joohyun after that. She was alone again this time. A faint smile creep out at the corner of her lips as she stared back up onto the sky. She inhaled deeply when a fresh air suddenly reaches her nose.

 After one day,she will be marrying Wendy and became her wife. Joohyun didn't settle any expectation about it. Yet she still feels nervous. There are lot of what if's and questions running through her mind. And she hope that marrying Wendy is the best choice.

Joohyun carefully turn the doorknob and open the door of the room. She peak through the gap before stepping in and closing the door. The room is dark but with the used of the moonlight,Joohyun can still clearly see the figure sleeping soundly onto the bed. 

Joohyun tiptoed towards the bed and carefully taking the empty space at the edge of it. 

Wendy was sleeping on her stomach,face buried between the soft pillows. She looks like a cute little kid and Joohyun suddenly smile at this. Her hands move to pulled the blanket up to cover the blonde's body before it moves to Wendy's lock and tucking it behind her ears. 

But when she was about to withdraw her hand,Wendy suddenly shut her eyes open and grab her wrist that surprises her. 

"S-Seungwan"Joohyun stuttered as she tried to pulled her hand from Wendy but Wendy(surprisingly)despite of her condition was still much stronger than her.

"Yah, What are you doing? Let go of me-"A loud squeal escape from the brunette when Wendy suddenly (forcefully)pulled her downward until she's already hovering above her. 

Joohyun blush when she soon realize their current position it didn't help that Wendy is looking intently at her. 

"Yah Pabo! I said get-oOft!"Joohyun was already a blushing mess when Wendy suddenly pulled her by her waist and hug her closer. Leaving no space between their bodies. The scent of alcohol invaded her smell,she should be felt gross about it but she didn't because she could no longer process anything other than the thought of her lying on top of Wendy while Wendy is hugging her tightly like her life only depends on her.

"Seungwan"she called out softly. Her face was now snuggle closer unto the latter's neck as Wendy hold her even tighter. 

"Hyunnie"Joohyun tilted her head when she heard a hoarse voice calling for her. And it turns out that it was only Wendy. Joohyun didn't say a words. She keep quiet and just waited for the blonde's next move. 

"Hyunnie?"Wendy called out once more. Joohyun closes her eyes for a moment and as soon as she open it back,she tried to make a soft "hmm?"as a reply. If she were to decide,she don't want to make any conversation with Wendy right at this moment. Not when they were in the middle of this very intimate position. But with Wendy's drunken state,Joohyun knows she will not let her acquire some peace,not now-not at this moment.

She heard the blonde heave a sigh before she felt her hand caressing her hair and a soft and gentle kiss touches her temple. "Please don't leave me...just stay here"Wendy's voice sounds pleading and Joohyun felt affected and surprise about it. 

Wendy sounds vulnerable in her current state. This is the first time Wendy acted like this to her,usually,she's the stronger one. Joohyun wonder if Wendy was only wearing a mask since the very first time they met each other just to hide this weak side of her,pretending that she's fine though she really isn't.

Slowly,Joohyun lifted her head up so she could fully see Wendy's face. Wendy was also looking at her with half-lidded eyes but still,her stare can make Joohyun's blush because it's truly captivating. 

Despite of her erratic heart beat and nervousness,Joohyun still manage to flash a genuine smile at the blonde as she move her free arm to caress Wendy's cheeks. 

"I'll not leave you"she said

"Promise?"

Joohyun smile as she peck Wendy's forehead"Promise"

Those words was enough to make the blonde feels at ease and finally closing back her eyes.

Joohyun watches the blonde silently with a small smile grazing her lips. 

Wendy was already fast asleep. Joohyun wanted to watch her face for more minutes yet her eyes were already too heavy and she also feels a little bit exhausted that she can't no longer help it but finally drop her head on top of Wendy's chest and shut her eyes close. The warmth that is emitted from Wendy's body is enough to ease the cold inside the room and that Joohyun feels the comfort and soon finally drifted to dreamland.

Wendy slowly open her eyes. Blinding light greeted her. She tried to block it with her hands and blink her eyes for a couple of moment. As soon as her eyes adjusted to the light,she tried to roll her body facing the other side. A familiar face suddenly greeted her sight,a smile grazing her lips as she look at her. Slowly,Wendy's eyes widen at the realization as she jolted up from her lying position only to ended up falling back when she feels a sudden head pain. Her hands automatically move to presses a pressure on her temple to ease the throbbing pain.

"Seungwan,are you okay?"Wendy doesn't need to open her eyes to know the owner of the voice. Those familiar soothing voice that never faltered to brought butterflies on her stomach. Those voice that enough to washes away all of her worries and problem. 

"Y-yeah...Just got a little bit head pain"Wendy uttered almost a whisper as she tried to lift her head and look at Joohyun. But the pain is getting unbearable for her and so she just lie her head back onto the pillow while putting more pressure on her head. 

Curse you,alcohol

"I think you got a hangover"Joohyun stated matter of factly. 

Wendy felt the matress sink next to her and soon she felt a warm and soft hand touching her temple. She shut her eyes open instantly and found out that Joohyun is now hovering above her with her hands started moving in a slow and gentle way,massaging her temple. 

Wendy suddenly freak out when she realized their current position and that she accidently push Joohyun off of her. 

Joohyun stumbled a bit backward. A shock expression were now visible on her face. 

"Oh my God! I...I'm so sorry,Joohyun"Wendy panic as she reaches for the brunette to help her out which Joohyun immediately accepted though she still a little bit confuse on why the latter pushes her away. "Are you okay?"Wendy asked in concern as soon as Joohyun were already sitting comfortably back on the mattress. 

"Yeah,just a little bit surprise and...confuse"she said

Wendy arches her eyebrows"Confuse?"

"Yeah,your acting strange a minute ago"

"I did?"

Joohyun nodded her head as she crosses her arms on her chest before staring back at the blonde"You push me"she said in a cold tone and Wendy suddenly gulp because it's really scary and she doesn't know if Joohyun was mad at her or what.
