Note: the first part of the chapter focuses on Joohyun's perspective after the incident happened in the cafe in the previous chapter)

Joohyun's step getting faster and faster as she reaches the street where Wendy's apartment were located. Her eyes were already rimmed red because of too much crying. She doesn't know why she feels this unbearable pain inside of her because of Wendy's words. Truth,she faced different criticism in life from other people before-and it's much more harshful than Wendy's-but why does it hurt her so much? 

Maybe because she didn't expected those kind of words coming from Wendy. Wendy-the woman who accepted her though she's just a stranger to her. The woman who tried to deal with her playful,childish and bossy mood. The woman despite of her cold act-treated her as special as she was. 

So all of those things that Joohyun thought is true was only a lie? It was just some sort of disguise? 

Joohyun unlock the door as soon as she arrived at Wendy's doorstep. And without further ado,she immediately walk towards her room. 

It's not right for her to stay for long in this woman's house who have thought that she's some kind of dangerous virus that ruined her life. That insult is too much for Joohyun. Pain is the best definition for it. 

Throwing all her clothes and other stuff inside her suitcase,Joohyun take a full long deep breath before zipping it off. And with a final glance at her room,she immediately take a step and fully exited it.

Everyone sitting in the dinning table only stared at Joohyun dumbfoundedly as the brunette continue munching her food inside . Empty plates settled on each side of her table but Joohyun just ignored all of them and just eat there without much care on what's happening in her surroundings. Foods is her  alternative cure for the pain she still feels inside aka her number one bestfriend. 

It lasted for almost a minute before Joohyun finally finishes her food. She wipe the corner of  her lips with the tissue as she gently places down the utensils on the table. Her eyes slowly darted towards the others. Eyebrows raises as soon as she notice the weird look everyone is given to her. 

"Yes?"she asked coldly

Everyone snap of their daze as soon as they heard Joohyun's voice. Some look away and cleared their throat while the others lowered their head and pretended that their eating their foods.

"Ahm. Ms. Joohyun,have you not eaten for ages?"Suho,the leader of the group asked carefully. 

Joohyun give her a blank face before uttering a lazy"Why?"

Suho hesitated to answer for a while,his head snap to look at his other companion before staring back at Joohyun. 

"You looks like a starving princess" he said which earned a soft snickered from the others. 

Joohyun's lips purse together as her eyes started giving everyone this signature intense look of her causing them to stop. 

"And what do you mean by that,huh Suho oppa?"Joohyun's hoarse voice makes everyone shiver as they started fidgeting on their seat. 

"N-nothing...I-I didn't mean anything by those words,Young miss. I'm sorry if it sounded something as some kind of insulting remarks" Suho defended as he started waving his hands infront of his face.

Everyone's face turned pale as Joohyun continue looking at them wearing this scary look on her face not until a man in his mid-40 walk in the dinning area and interrupted them. 

"What's going on here?"he asked as he continue his step towards the table wearing this confuse look on his face. Two men wearing the same black suit as the rest walking behind him. 

Everyone expect Joohyun immediately stand on their seat and greeted the man with a 90 degrees bow followed by a loud greetings of "Good morning boss!"

The man wave his hand to dismiss the greetings as he took the seat in the middle next to Joohyun. 

"And I'm surprise your already here"He half-teased looking at his daughter. 

Joohyun only rolled her eyes and lean back on her seat,giving her dad this uninterested look. 

"Don't you felt happy about it? Because your eldest daughter was finally here?"

Her dad hum as he tap his chin"Yeah,your right"he said before staring back at his daughter"But that not explained everything that my boys were wearing this pale complexion on their face right now"He added,eyeing the rest sitting next to them who was staring back at them nervously or more like at Joohyun nervously. 

Joohyun followed her dad's gaze. And that brought her out of reality when she notice that the others were indeed looking nervously at them rather at her. 

"Did something happened?"Her dad's voice changes from calm to worried and that Joohyun can't help but look away from the others and stared at her dad instead. 

Contemplation running through her mind when she saw her dad's worried face. She doesn't know if it's the best idea to tell him what happened between her and Wendy. She knows her dad will gonna do everything for her and for her sister and if Joohyun's calculation was right,her dad will surely do something unexpected once he finds out what Wendy did to her earlier in the cafe and that bothered her. It's not like she wanted it to happened just to make revenge to the latter but of course Wendy despite of what she did to her- is still her fiancée and whatever happen to her is still a part of Joohyun's care. 

"No. Nothing happened"she lied and look away from her dad. 

She heard her dad let a hum. And Joohyun felt the relief. A warm hand caresses her own causing Joohyun to look up. And she was glad that she did when her dad reassuring smile greeted her. 

"You stink. Go upstairs and wash up because your going to attend and join an important event"her dad dismissed and Joohyun ended up nodding her head. She give a chaste kiss at her father's cheeks before leaving the dinning area and go upstairs towards her room. 

Little did she know that her dad was still suspicious and not really convince of her lies. His eyes guided Joohyun's retreating back figure and with a deep sigh,he slowly snap her head to look at his men. 

"Boys. I have a work for you to do. So be ready"he said"Suho!" 

Suho straighten up his back as he stared directly at his boss"Boss?"

"I'll let you lead this one. So give me your best shot. Make sure not to dissapointment me"

"Yes Boss!" He answered with much confidence

Wendy gulp in fear as she watches the scene that was happening infront of her. Two men started choking and strangling each other. The one that has been dominated almost crying in pain when the dominant one started giving him a cross lock aiming to break his arms. 

Wendy's face grimace as the bottom men started yelling and tapping the floor continuosly sending the signal that he already wanted to surrender and ready to lose the fight. 

A loud whistle replaces the silence and the referee raises the other man's arms to declared his win. 

Everyone followed it with a loud cheer but Wendy do nothing but frown when her eyes landed at the crying man on the floor holding her fractured arms as he started rolling left and right. 

"Get Leo out of here and bring him to the infirmary to check his condtion!"the man who everyone called by the name Boss ordered. Three men immediately run towards the injured man and carry him out of the room. 

Wendy followed it with her eyes and as soon as the door finally close she slowly snap her head back in the middle and that's the moment she notice Joohyun was looking at her. Their eyes met but Wendy rejected what she did because once she lock gaze with her,Joohyun shot her this icy glare and her face turned into a frown. Feeling scared,Wendy was the first one to break the contact and look away. 

"Now,we move on to the next round"the referee announced as he took a step in the middle of the mat"For our next pair. Please step in the middle"he paused "Wendy!" He finished and Wendy almost fell on her back. Her eyes double in size as she stared at everyone in shock. 

"Wendy? Kindly step on the mat now"he called out for the second time. 

Wendy nervously get on her feet. Slowly,she step on the mat and stand in the middle of it. Her eyes looking left and right as if she's searching for something until it landed on Joohyun. Joohyun was still wearing the same expression on her face as earlier and that made her felt more nervous. 

"And now,for your opponent. Please step forward..."

Please not Joohyun. Please not Joohyun. Not her. You heard me Lord? Please not her Wendy chanted those words silently like a mantra as she closes her eyes and clamps both of her hands together.

"Joohyun" Wendy swear she got a pale complexion on her face just by hearing Joohyun's name called. She was ready to run for the door but her legs doesn't cooperate. She was standing there petrified as she watches Joohyun slowly standing from her sitting position. 

Fears and nervousness running through her spine as she stared at Joohyun's blank face. Her eyes remained glaring at her which makes Wendy gulp in fear for the nth time. 

"Ready? "The referee signal,spreading his arms from left to right. 

Joohyun do a 90 degree bow. Feeling bewildered,Wendy followed suit. 

"Fight!"the referee shouted after a couple of minute. 

Wendy was surprise when Joohyun suddenly sprang unto her aiming to punch her face but Wendy swiftly dodge it as she skip to the side,she almost tripped but luckily she immediately regained her balance. 

"!" she cursed in a fluent english which makes Joohyun raise an eyebrow at her. 

"You didn't even give me time to prepare! That's cheating!"Wendy complained accusingly as she pointed a finger at Joohyun.

"This is a competition you idiot! It's your responsibility to put an eye on your opponent!"Joohyun argued factly as she continue glaring at the blonde.

Feeling defeated,Wendy heave a sigh. "Fine! Whatever you sa-Oww!"Wendy groaned in pain when a fist hit directly unto her face almost breaking her nose. Because of the strong impact,Wendy was push unto her back just a mere away from the end of the mat. 

Feeling the burning pain on her nose,Wendy presses a palm unto it to ease the pain,if that even possible. 

"First rule in a competition"Joohyun started"Don't let things distract you and always put an eye on your opponent"She finished while crossing her arms infront of her chest. 

A loud clapping and shouting filled up the room as the rest started giving a cheers at their daughter's boss. 

Wendy couldn't believe it. She went her to ask forgiveness and to fix the mess that she did but now what happened? She was here,kneeling infront of her fiancée(who was giving her a cold shoulder) with this broken nose plus this annoying men sitting in a circle watching them while cheering and shouting oh so loud that it irritated her so much. How can her life turns out like this? 

"Is this some kind of revenge?" says Wendy as she slowly stand on her feet,her palms were still pressing on her nose. "Just because I shouted at you and throw you some harsh words your going to break my nose? How rude"

"Your rude!"Joohyun fight back,her face turn into a frown once again.

"Why am I rude? Your the one who's putting violence here!"

"Goodness sake Son Seungwan this is a competition!"

"But that's not explain why you aim my nose!"

"Your being too insensitive again! "Joohyun shouted angrily. Her eyes burn in rage and teeth gritted together. Wendy,on the other hand was taken aback by the brunette's blunted words. 

Everyone were stiff on their spot as they watches the scene happening infront between the couples. Looking left and right like a puppy but no words come out from their mo
