Wendy panted fast and quick. Breathless. She doesn't know how long she had been running here and there looking for Joohyun. She almost searched every place that could possibly lead her to the person she's looking for but to her dismay she didn't find her. 

She took a sit on the step infront of the entrance--she's definitely facing the sight of the beautiful crystal-like ocean. The cold breeze coming from the seaside pass by adding up the comforting feelings. She heave a sigh and allow her eyes to roam around the place. 

The view is truly captivating and breathtaking--that Wendy almost forget her purpose on that day which is to find Joohyun. 

She drop her eyes away from the sight,shaking her head vigorously and abruptly stand on her feet. She was about to turn to the corner and continue with her trance when her eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of the familiar person she's looking for. 

A smile slowly creeping out of her lips but it just swiftly drop into a frown when she notice that Joohyun isn't alone. She was with someone -No scratch that --she isn't just with 'someone' --She's with a guy. A tall and good-looking guy and they were basically holding each other hands. 

Wendy find herself curling her fist at the sight. Her jaws tightened. She felt like her light brown eyes were turning an even darker as she stared at them.That disgustingly good-looking guy. How dare is he for touching her wife like that? Her teeth clenched and if it had been possible, her eyes would have seared holes through him. She couldn't stand the sight of him with Joohyun.

The deep boiling sensation in the pit of her stomach ,the ache of her heart and the way her fingers tremble, Wendy knows she's jealous. 

She turn her gaze away  from their direction when she felt like she could no longer handle it,looking at them for too long. 

She wanted to walked away and ignore everything that she saw but apart of her telling her that she need to do something. Atleast do something to get back what's hers. 

Clenching her fist,Wendy decided to do the second options. To get her girl back.

"Sehun?" Joohyun unitentionally raised her voice as if she's totally surprised seeing the guy infront of her.  She'd pulled her hand away from him and they stood there, staring at each other.

If Joohyun wasn't mistaken,she catches a slight look of dissapoinment from the corner of Sehun eyes when she snatch her hand from him but he was fast enough switching it back to normal. 

"It's so nice seeing you here,Joohyun" he bit back a smile and tuck his hands inside his pants pocket. 

"Not with me,Sehun oppa" she uttered with her most serious tone her eyes furrowed at him as if scanning his every reaction.

Sehun quirk a brow,looking at her with questioning gaze "Why?"

"How do you expect me to feel the same? You'd leave me without even giving me some proper exlplanation on why you have to leave and didn't even tried to show up to me for more than a year?" Joohyun's uttered flatly but little did she knows that she ended up sounding her voice into a soft whining instead of the supposedly pissed off tone,but it's too late to take it back when Sehun already notice it and suddenly crack up into a loud laughter. 

Joohyun huff and cross her arms glaring at the guy infront of her laughing his heart out. 

"Aigoo,our Joohyunie is kinda sulky again? How cute~" Sehun reach out to playfully ruffled Joohyun's hair but Joohyun was fast to slap his hand away before he could even succeed with his plan. 

Sehun hiss and immediately cradle his hand with his other arm and gently it in attempt to ease the pain "I wasn't expecting such rude act from you,Hyunnie. I thought I'm your favorite oppa" Sehun uttered between teasing and whining. 

And Joohyun ended up rolling her eyes "Stupid" she mumbled "What are you doing here?"

Sehun pursed his lips. His face swiftly turn serious again as soon as his laughter dies down "I'm on a vacation"  

There's a long paused after that and Joohyun find it somewhat a little bit uncomfortable and awkward. 

Heaving a sigh,she decided to continue interrogating the man in attempt to get rid of this awkward feelings engulfing them "Why did you left without telling us?" she carefully asked. 

Sehun,is one of her dad's subordinate. He's Joohyun former butler before Taehyung. She was close to him before. They were like best of friend. Sehun was there when she need him. When she needs someone to lean on unfortunately, just like the other people in her life--he left her. Without words. Without a proper farewell. Just like that. 

Sehun pursed his lips. He remained quiet for a moment before finally opening his mouth to give her a response "I had my own life Joohyun"

"That's why you left us---you left me because you wanted to face your own life?"

"I wasn't..." He stop as though he's contemplating about something. He flash her a small smile "Because that's the best thing to do,Hyunnie..."he heave a sigh his eyes slowly averted from her and towards the direction of the sea infront of them. 

There's something wrong with him right now,that's what Joohyun notice. It was like he wanted to say something but there is something stopping him. Joohyun's suspicion only increases when she notice that Sehun's hands was trembling before he clenched it into a fist. It bothered her a bit but she choosed not to voice it out because as far as she knows Sehun's personality,he will just find some excuses if she'll tried to ask or interrogate him. 

So instead,Joohyun look at him her brows knitted together  and said "I couldn't get it"

Sehun glance back. Giving her a small smile,almost weak and his eyes looks somber that it made Joohyun wonder why his mood split like that? What could be the reason? "I just thought I need some time to cool off my mind,Hyun. I'd thought that I need to change something about myself. About my life" he paused his eyes looking directly at her "To be a better version of myself"

"But you already are. Why would you need to change yourself?"

"Because I'm not yet contented. This isn't enough. I need to be a better person...for her" he said,voice almost in a whisper. 

"Her?" Joohyun repeated,raising an eyebrow "You're pursuing someone,now?"

Sehun lips tug up a little "Nope. Not really" he trailed off "I didn't tell her about it yet but I'm definitely working on that. Maybe if I got a chance" he shrug

Joohyun heave a sigh,her thoughts suddenly brought her back to the previous event happened inside their room. If only Wendy was brave enough to confess to her what it is that she's hiding from her then things will never be difficult and complicated like this for the both of them.

"Hyunnie?" Joohyun look up and catches Sehun looking at her with this worried face "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. Don't worry" she assure giving him a smile. 

Though the word 'fine'slip off . Joohyun knows that those words was nothing but a lie. It feels like something is squeezing her heart,taking her breath away. It's suffocating. Emotions were jumbling and swirling around inside her body like a tornado wrecking her into a huge mess. 

"Joohyun!" those familiar soothing voice makes her spin around and face the direction of it's owner. All the thoughts and emotions she feels earlier fades like a magic when she saw Wendy's face and she's walking towards her. 

Seungwan, she thought but she never voice it out.

"Where have you been? I've beeen looking for you. You know how worried am I?" Wendy's brows creases as she hold Joohyun's shoulder to let her face her directly. It feels like Joohyun's heart soften in a swift seeing Wendy's worried face. She suddenly felt herself melted by just how Wendy look at her and touch her as if she's something fragile.

Why is the world suddenly became rude to her? Giving her this variety of emotions making her felt like she was about to explode any minute now.

She didn't do anything but to stand there stiff while her eyes looking at the blonde,following her every move.

Wendy,on the other hand was busy checking Joohyun for any injuries or something before her eyes land on Joohyun's. They caught themselves staring at each other. It lasted for almost a minute before Wendy felt a tinge of pain in her left arm when someone suddenly slap her hands off of Joohyun and that what startled her. She looks up to face(glare at) the culprit but to her surprised,she was greeted by the sight of the good-looking guy,earlier.

He had broad shoulders and thin hips; his face was extremely masculine with attractive, chiseled features, his lips a soft rosy pink. Not to mention that he had deep, sapphire eyes,surrounded by long, dark eyelashes that made every girl go green with jealousy. His eyes bored into her, and Wendy felt her insides melt under his gaze.

And before she could even got the chance to react,the guy suddenly pulled Joohyun away from her.

"Yah!" Wendy took a step forward to grab Joohyun's hand back but Sehun was fast enough to block her way stopping her from coming closer.

"Step back or you don't want me kick you out!" Sehun warned,his eyes looking intently at her as if he's planning to murder her with his look. 

Wendy did what is told. She took a small step backward,distancing herself from them. 

"Who are you?" Sehun suddenly asked as he straightened his back. His right arms gently pushing Joohyun further behind his back as though trying to shield her from something dangerous. 

Dangerous? Is he thinking I'm dangerous and that I might hurt Joohyun? 

The thought made Wendy's blood boil in anger. 

Who the hell is this man? Acting as if he's a superhero? The nerves.

"I'm Wendy" she answered confidently,making sure not breaking their eye contact.

"Wendy?" Sehun repeated,his brows knitted together"I don't know you" he deadpanned

"Don't worry,we actually have the same thoughts"

"What?"Sehun raised an eyebrow

"I don't know you neither" she said with a sneer

A soft snort interrupted the little confrontation. Joohyun bit her lips--in attempt to hide her smile--and look away when she notice Sehun and Wendy were already looking at her. 

Seeing Joohyun's smiling face Wendy couldn't help but giving out a small smile,too.

Sehun face her again after the short interruption narrowing his eyes at her "Stop bugging around,kid. We're not in the mood dealing with your childish antic" 

Wendy's smile drop at the man's word. Her face swiftly turn serious. Her eyes staring blankly at him. 

"I'm also not in the mood dealing with someone who's acting as if he's Joohyun's boyfriend!" She deadpanned. 

"What?"

"Get your hands off her!" she said,using her most authoritative tone

"Who do you think you are commanding me what I need to do?" Sehun spat. 

The two was caught in complete staring battle before Joohyun decided to intervene. 

"Okay shut the up!" Joohyun said sternly. Pushing the two to either side as she step in between of them. "What are you? A kindergarten? Stop this bickering,will you?"

The two didn't say anything so Joohyun decided to speak again "Sehun,I understand that you just wanted to protect me and I'd really appreaciate it but...."she paused her eyes move to glance at Wendy "She isn't just a stranger...She's my wife"

"Wife? You're married,Hyun?" Sehun asked her in surprised

"Hyun? Who give you permission-"

"Yes!" Joohyun snapped cutting off Wendy's words "And Seungwan..."she give Wendy a glance " Sehun wasn't acting as though she's my boyfriend because he's just only protecting me. He's my friend!"

"But 'friends'never been this possessive with his friend" Wendy muttered,Sehun notice it and raised an eyebrow at her but Wendy only shot her a look.
