"You know, if you will just going to stare at your phone like that nothing will going to happen"

Wendy look up, gaze leaving the screen of her phone. She stared at her bestfriend who was then leaning against the wall with her arms folded infront of her chest, staring down at her. Her brows furrowed once she notice the light amusement playing on the latter's face which makes her groaned in protest.

"You know that I can't call her whenever I want" 

"Why not?"

"Because that's part of our agreement and I'm not planning to break my promise," 

Wendy stuff her hands on her face and muffled a groaned.

This past few days it became almost a habit of her to do such thing whenever she felt frustrated over this things that are currently happening in her life. Plus, it didn't quite helping that both Amber and Krystal, which are supposedly the first two people who should understand her, are the same person who are always nagging at her over her chosen decisions in life. 

"You know you shouldn't have done such stupid decision in the first place, Wen" Amber pointed out.

"I know, " she breath out pulling her hands off of her face as she leaned on her seat, eyes staring on the ceiling, "I know that's the most stupid things I have ever done in my entire life, it just that I thought that's for the best. For me, for Joohyun and for our relationship."

Amber made a silent nod though Wendy couldn't see her doing that since her gaze were fixed on the ceiling. 

"But don't you think it's about time?" she asked instead expecting to get the latter's attention which really did happen when Wendy slightly move her head just enough to gave her a glance.

"What are you trying to say?"

Amber uncrossed her arms and started approaching her table. She stop only a meter away across from where she is. She was thoughtful for a moment before her lips curve into a smile.

"For the two of you to be with each other again,"

"Amber -"

"It wasn't a question, Wen!" she uttered firmly interrupting whatever stubborn statement her friend will about to say to her. Amber know Wendy better enough to say that she wanted to do the same things but for whatever reason she always find some excuses not to do the former. And Amber even her girlfriend, Krystal were already sick of it, that's why by every chance they get they always make sure to tell Wendy every now and then how stupid she is for doing such things, but of course they make sure to do it in away that they wouldn't hurt her ego, to push her further to do whatever things she's supposed to do in the first place.

To fix this things up that keeps on bothering her.

"I don't exactly know what I'm going to do," Wendy confessed a moment later, her eyes were now fix on the wooden surface of the table infront of her, staring at it absentmindedly.

Again Amber make a silent nod, knowing fully how difficult it is for someone like her bestfriend to do things without even making such a plan. In her situation right now, Amber knows Wendy was having a hard time whether it's because she don't have any idea what to do with situation like this or simply because she really wanted to see Joohyun again but she don't know how to. Apart from that, she also made a promise and for her, promises aren't meant to be broken.

"Do you miss her?"

"Always" she answered without a second thought, "Every second, every minute, every hour, everyday, every possible time I could have to I'm always thinking of her. I really did miss her, Am"

"Then what's stopping you?"

"I made a promise. I don't want to break it. I have my words"

"Wen, you're not an idiot as far as I could remember it, you're smart enough to notice that this is all a non-sense. All of this. You wanted to see her but you don't want to, aren't that confusing enough? I mean the point is whatever you both doing right now wouldn't really help your situation at all. It will only make it worst. I do understand that you have your own priorities in life that's why you made such decision but I wanted to frankly tell you that's bull - opps, sorry for cursing - what I wanted to say is you'll just only going to torture yourself, both of you"

"Amber..."

"Listen," she cut her off, "just do whatever you think is right, Wen" 

Wendy remained staring at her for a longer time and Amber soon notice that she has this confused look on her face so she quickly added,

"You know yourself better than anyone else. And you are smart enough to figure out what's best for you and for Joohyun"

Wendy ponder for a moment. She knows Amber has a point. I mean she always has a point. At the end of the day, it's still her decision that count. No one knows better what's best for her and Joohyun, but herself. Come to think of it, It's always been a month since she last saw Joohyun and that's enough time to loosen up, for the both of them to focus on each other's personal life and maybe it's about time for them to focus on each other instead. So maybe, Amber really has a point on this, maybe it's time for her to get Joohyun back and to be with her again.

She breath out, feeling a little bit at ease for the first time after that almost frustrating and depressing month she's been away from Joohyun. 

"I think you have a point, Am" this time she finally manage to smile and nodded her head.

Amber nodded her head too and returned the smile.

"Glad to know you're now all out of your bull, Wen!"

They both crack up at the lame joke and somehow it made Wendy relax a little bit more. She's really glad to know that she got a friend like Amber, who even sometimes acts like a psycho and a stubborn llama, still didn't even failed to help her out whenever she's in a big trouble. Thinking about losing her would be a worst nightmare for Wendy. Amber is a great friend, almost a real sister and a family to her, and she wanted to treasure her for the rest of her life. 

"Hey dork, what are you smiling at?"

Wendy shook her head, "Nothing, Just thinking about how stupid I am for befriending someone as boring as you"

"Oh wow thank you so much. That's really overwhelming" 

Wendy laugh at the sarcastic comment. It's really funny to think that she's almost like losing all of her a moment ago just by the thought of not seeing her wife for almost more than a month now and then in an instant she was laughing her heart out and fooling around with her friend, but on top of it she knows nothing more matter for her but the thought of finally seeing her wife's beautiful face again, her smile, her captivating eyes that could make Wendy's knees turn into a jello, her warm and comforting touch and finally to kiss those soft and intoxicating lips of her. 

The thought of it make her smile again. She wonder what Joohyun is doing at this moment and with all those days she wasn't with her. She wonder if she's doing fine? Does she eat her meals on time or does she take enough rest? What if she overpowered herself or abuse it?  What if she get sick when Wendy wasn't around? What if -

"Stop ranting negative thoughts to yourself, Wendy!"

"What?"

"I can hear it loud and clear"

"You did?"

"Idiot! Of course I don't!"

"Yah!" 

The short-haired girl laugh and Wendy could only scoff in return.

"Like seriously Seungwan, stop sweating it, okay? If you keep doing that nothing good will going to happen. You will just going to spoil your anxiety,"

Wendy stared at her friend in shock. Again, she found herself agreeing to whatever Amber is saying. She hate to admit it but Amber always manage to hit the point . Everything that comes out of that mouth of hers always made sense to Wendy .

She breath out a sigh and nodded her head, "You are right,"

"I am always right"

Wendy rolled her eyes at the conceited reply but she didn't dare object knowing fully that it wasn't a lie. Amber is like a part of her conscience that never failed to show her the difference between what is right and what is wrong. She's truly a huge help and without her Wendy couldn't imagine what will about to happen to her.

Hours has passed. It's already passed 10 pm, their exact closing time. Almost all of her employees were starting to gradually leave the resto, but not before making sure that almost all of their works were done before they left the place. And for now, she was left behind with Amber and Krystal.

After making a double checking around the whole resto, which is kinda habit of her before closing the place and making sure that everything is in order, she slowly sauntered her way outside and lock the entrance door, stuffing the keys inside her jeans pocket, giving it a slight pat before facing the couple who are both standing side by side behind her with their arms linking with each other. 

Wendy smile of the sight before she spoke, "You're going somewhere else?"

Krystal tilted her head and look at her, "Amber is bringing me outside for a movie date"

Amber grin and Wendy could only roll her eyes. 

"Did she do something stupid again?"

Krystal raise an eyebrow shifting her gaze from Wendy to her girlfriend, confuse.

"What are you talking about?"

This time it was Wendy who was stupidly grinning and Amber couldn't help but shot Wendy a 'don't-you-ever-dare-to- tell-her- anything-or-else-I-will-kill-you' look and then frowning.
