CHAPTER NINE

He was supposed to feel relieved when Jonghyun reported him that they found her already, but as soon as Jonghyun asked him to follow him in the living room, he knew, something was wrong.

“Tell it to me directly” he ordered, standing next to Jungshin who’s busy looking at his laptop

“She’s still under Mea Culpa’s wings. But the strange thing is, they’re treating her differently.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well for a fact that Kwon Sangwoo’s treating her as a royalty is unusual already. Mea Culpa never treated any woman right. Especially their head Sangwoo”

“When was this taken?” He pointed at the picture of Seo Joohyun wandering at the beach with bodyguards, she was playing with the waves while there were guards and the frontliners were Mea Culpa’s head Sangwoo and his right hand Gongyoo” Jungshin gulped, knowing that his next words would make the Dragon spit fire

“Continue” Yonghwa’s face darkened hearing the uncertainty in Jungshin’s voice

“The PI we sent was caught, but the surprising thing was, they let him escape.”

“What?” Yonghwa looked at him, confused

“He was released, unscathed.”

“What the f-“ his eyes widen, biting his lip not until the realization that she’s not there sunk in to him, they saw something passed his eyes that they haven’t seen before, pitying him, but chose to remain impassive since Yonghwa don’t want to see pity in people’s eyes especially if it was directed to him. They know, and felt Seo Joohyun’s absence, they were affected even though they don’t talk about it, most especially Yonghwa. He was distracted, and gloomier than before. They oftentimes caught him looking at her room but they’re sane enough not to . “Why the hell would they do that?”

“Mea Culpa doesn’t need the Crystal anymore” Their head snapped towards Jonghyun’s direction “You were walking around in circle Shin, You’re fuelling him up more” Jonghyun shook his head and stared back at Yonghwa who’s now pale faced, fist balled tightly, and his eyes were burning wholes at the wall. “As surprising as it was, their most prized possession was forgotten all of a sudden. They said they don’t need the crystal anymore, they’re giving it to us already. And seeing Seo Joohyun behaving differently instead of acting as the victim, it seems like she’s not coming b-“

“Shut the up Jonghyun.” Yonghwa’s steely voice cut him midway

“They were treating her like a Queen, would she come back here when we’re treating her like a Maid?”

“You don’t know her Hyun do you? She doesn’t care about treatments, as long as she’s hap-“

“Exactly! She’s not happy here! So let her go now! She’s not coming back!”

“I SAID SHUT UP! IF YOU DON’T WANT ME TO BLOW UP YOUR ING HEAD! SHUT UP!”

He was about to lunge towards Jonghyun when Jungshin and Minhyuk stopped him

“Hyung! What are you doing?!” Minhyuk was frantically stopping Yonghwa from punching Jonghyun who’s looking at him smugly

“Seo Joohyun’s happy now Yonghwa, either you like it or not, she found someone else already”

“ YOU! YOU JONGHYUN!” He trashed the whole place, throwing whatever he laid his eyes on.

“HYUNG!” Jungshin tried so hard to stop him but failed, they weren’t able to do anything but to watch Jung Yong Hwa trash the whole place, cursing repeatedly, he was livid, beyond words that is.

“Hyung why did you do that?” Minhyuk was looking at Jonghyun weirdly, waiting for his explanation

“Well, I just helped him out of his misery.” Jonghyun shrugged as if it was nothing, as if seeing Livid Yonghwa is nothing.

“He’s trashing our house!”

“Because he already came to realization”

“That?”

“He had fallen for Seo Joohyun” Jonghyun chuckled seeing Yonghwa glaring at their direction

“I ING HEARD YOU! AND NO, I AM NOT!”

“Boy, that new guy surely swears a lot too. Lucky bastard!”

“LEE JONGHYUN!!!!” To Minhyuk and Jungshin’s horror, Jonghyun run towards his room, clicking the multiple locks, leaving the two scared maknaes squeezed at the corner of the room with the livid azure coming their way.

“ HYUNG!!!!!!!!!!!”

  It took them a day to let Jung Yong Hwa cool off, he was glaring at everything wherever he went. But thankfully, he locked up in his room, when they’re about to eat dinner, the three of them went to his room and found it empty.

“Hyung?” Jungshin went in and checked the en suite as well but he’s not there

“Where is he?!” Minhyuk panicked, they didn’t noticed him going out of the house either

“Let’s go check Joohyun’s room” Jonghyun said, walking ahead of them

Jonghyun was right, they found him sleeping in her bed, hugging her pillow tightly as if his life depended on it.

“Let’s not wake him up, he needs that.”

The three of them were lounging at the living room, watching a movie when Yonghwa sat at the carpet, staring at the television blankly.

“Let’s return the Crystal to them”

He was answered by silence, he looked at the three of them and saw them looking at him wide-eyed with their mouth hanging open.
