A/N: So I've been thinking about switching up the way I write - from first person POV to a third person's POV, do let me know if it seems okay!

-  -  -  chapter 005

Jae Hee was surprised that Yoongi had actually waited for her outside the lecture hall, even though she was running a little later than usual. The professor was already had his slides up on the projector screen when they both slipped into the cold theater, opting to sit near the walls at the back of the class. Donning a plain white t-shirt that seemed too big for his build and his sloppy untamed black hair pressed flattened by a cap of a similar shade, Yoongi looked like how any ordinary college boy would - no one would've or could've imagined that just the day before he had mercilessly ended the lives of two strangers without even twitching an eyelid.

There was nothing to say between the pair, they were not friends, neither were they enemies. They were just.... colleagues, you might say. Neither had made the effort to start an ordinary conversation, though it was slightly evident that Yoongi was dying to speak to the female about the plan he had conjured the night before with his side-glances at her. However, Jae Hee had already taken out her notebook and stationery the moment she had settled into her seat. Without much of a choice, Yoongi did the same. He could always talk to her after class.

It was only a matter of minutes before the female was slumped over the table, exhaling deep and even breaths. Yoongi couldn't help but chuckle - moments ago she seemed like the perfect student with her pretty green polkadot notebook and pen in her hand. Now, she might as well have been in a deep sleep considering that even when the class was laughing at one of the professor's jokes, she barely stirred in her slumber. Though Yoongi was as tired as she was, he did his best to stay awake and take down notes so that they could share them after the class.

It wasn't that Yoongi was a bad student, but you couldn't categorize him at the other end of the spectrum either. He was somewhere in between - yes, he did want a degree, and yes, he did want to do well, but honestly? Marketing just wasn't his thing. He struggled to keep his eyelids open as he scribbled whatever the educator was saying, unable to determine what was important and what wasn't. She could do that herself, he told himself as he tried to keep his handwriting as legible as possible.

It was only when the bell rang that Jae Hee arose from her nap. Like a lost puppy, she looked around the hall as the students packed their bags and filtered out of the room. She hardly had the energy to even be mad at herself for sleeping through the entire lecture.

"Good morning." Yoongi greeted as he packed his notebook into his backpack. The moment he saw Jae Hee's face, he tried his best to hold in a snicker.

"What?" Jae Hee asked, slightly irritated and cranky from the lack of sleep. The boy pointed at her face where the rings of her notebook had produced an imprint on her cheek. She hesitantly touched her face and felt the indents from of the metal. "Ugh."

"I found some information on the cosmetics company. But I'm still without a confirmed name." The girl said, her voice coarse and husky from sleep.

"Same here. Let's go grab something to eat and we'll talk over it." She nodded and picked up her backpack. "Do you have lecture after this?" The black-haired male asked. Jae Hee shook her head.

"Great. Let's go over to the hide-out then. I don't really fancy the food they have at the campus." Without much of an opinion, Jae Hee just trudged behind Yoongi as they head towards the parking lot. They parted ways so they could drive their individual cars - Jae Hee tailing Yoongi's Range Rover the whole way.

She had told Yoongi that she'd figure out a plan to get into the cosmetics company, and she meant it. After her hot shower the night before, she had pulled out her laptop and started doing basic research on some of the plausible corporations which had their headquarters in the business district. She had managed to get the list down to four companies - but without adequate background information or clues, determining the exact company and location of the meeting was impossible.

She had decided that going undercover and infiltrating the building while they were having the meeting was her best bet. But she still didn't know what she was up against - how many people were going to be at that meeting, how many people were going to be guarding the meeting room, who was she supposed to be looking out for in the first place? A horde of questions swarmed her head, exhausting her brain even more. Though she knew that she was going to be getting help from Bang Si Hyuk's agents, she couldn't help but take up the entire responsibility of seeing through the entire mission - that's what she was trained to do. Hence, she ended up pulling an all-nighter and gathering as much intel she could before she would see Yoongi the next day.

Yoongi, was also doing the same thing. Deciding that he needed to keep up the reputation of Bang Si Hyuk, he had embarked on his own investigation through the wee hours of the morning as well. Though admittedly he would never be as efficient as the youngest punk on his team, he was fully capable of digging up information if he set his mind to it.

Before the entered the district where the hideout was located, they had stopped by a restaurant to
