Chapter 5 : The Warning

Their Guardian //BTS FANTASY//

She blatantly rolled her eyes in order to discreetly scan her surroundings. What was intended to be the forest behind the warehouse was instead, replaced with that of the rumoured-to-be haunted corridor of KSTI, the walls lined with cobwebs and the stained windows barely shedding light, hardly doing anything to dissuade the rumours. What was meant to be the delightful company of an adorable elemental, was instead the unsought presence of three confronters, their supposed-to-be fierce expressions wavering with every ominous creak that filled the tense silence of the passage.

There was no way of escaping the inevitable; that being wasting her energy on bloody hypocrites.

Surprisingly the girl in the right corner of the triangle formation with black streaks that were hardly distinguishable from her brown hair, broke the eerie silence.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Deciding to humour them, she replied," Talking to a bloody hypocrite?"

"How dare you-," a brunette on the other side of the yet-to-speak girl, swelled up with importance that quickly deflated when she was cut off.

"Let me guess, you're the kind of people who hurt others because you can't have them, and try to hurt the people that are close with them because, if you can't have them, no one can, right?"

Seeing the shocked expressions in front of her, she continued.

"I really hate people like y'all, you know that? People who think it's okay to discriminate, okay to ostracise and destroy a person based on irrational fear. People who put down others to make themselves feel better. And most of all, I hate people who try to destroy another person because they have something you want but can't have."

Taking a deep breath, she finished, what she hoped was a message that would stick in their minds.

"Get it in your thick heads, it's your fault. You discriminated against them, you made them outcasts and it's no wonder that they want nothing to do with you. You made them miserable, can you blame them?"

Turning away from the dumbfounded girls, she almost rounded the corner when the middle girl with silver hair screamed, indignant.

"Don't think you'll get away this!"

She paused in her steps, exasperated, her patience having reached its maximum level. Rotating slightly to face the trio, a ball of deadly Dark energy materialised in her open palm as if for emphasis, revealing her powers.

"Try me."
