``I’m not going to quit Jungkook. ``

Two days passed by since Lisa has been discharged from the hospital and almost a week since the incident at Taehyung’s place. Ever since that day Jungkook has been trying to convince Lisa to quit her job.

``The culprit knows you work there.`` Jungkook argued. ``He’ll easily find you. ``

Lisa ignored him and tried to focus on solving her math problem. Part of her knows Jungkook is right and any sane person would quit working there after what happened, but Lisa didn’t want to. She has been working there for as long as she can remember, and she enjoyed the environment and her co workers. Abruptly stopping just doesn’t feel right.

``I’ll quit the dance crew then. `` Jungkook declared, after much thinking. If he quits, he can take back his responsibility as the deliver back and Lisa can remain in the store with the others. She’ll remain safe and sound inside.

Lisa deposited her pen and turned around to face Jungkook. She couldn’t really point out if he were being serious or not. Dancing is his everything and there’s no way he’ll quit.

``You can’t do this Jungkook.`` Lisa was not in the mood of joking, knowing very well how much the crew meant to Jungkook. ``Dancing means everything to you. Besides, you have a competition coming up at the end of the month, if you leave, your teammates are going to be in deep .``

You mean much more to me Lisa. Jungkook couldn’t bring himself to say it out loud and he remained there in silence, his eyes boring into Lisa’s. He knows she’s right, but if he can prevent Lisa from getting hurt, then nothing else matters.

``How can I focus on dancing when you’re going to be out there with that bastard somewhere? ``

``Stop being dramatic Jungkook.`` Lisa simply brushed off his comments. ``Nothing will happen to me.``

The bell rang and both gathered their stuff and headed out, towards the canteen.

``I agree with Jungkook. You should really quit.`` Jisoo resonated at the table once they had all bought their lunch.

``See?`` Jungkook interjected in, his hopes high. His expression awaiting Lisa’s response.

Lisa sighed as she considered quitting. Her family is not in a critical financial situation. Sure, they have debts such as the mortgage, but that’s normal. Lisa’s family is just your typical middle-class family and all of her basic needs are covered by her parents. She has saved enough money to cover her secondary needs, thus stopping wouldn’t hurt much. In fact, the only reason Lisa began working there, back in sophomore year, was simply because of Jungkook. he used to work there and Lisa used to have a crush on him. Her feelings were unspoken and unrequited, it’s something she has never spoken about with anyone, not even Jisoo or Rosé or Jennie, her best friends. Lisa feared too much losing Jungkook and ing up their friendship if he ever came to know. He was her first love, but Lisa eventually moved on. Especially, when Jungkook began to date a certain Mina.

``I’ll think about it.`` Lisa gives in, making Jungkook smile and cry in joy loudly causing everyone to shift their attention towards their table.

Five minutes remained before the afternoon classes and Lisa excused herself to the washrooms. She hoped the day would end quietly and quickly, without much happening because she was tired and all she wanted was to go home and sleep. However, when she walked out of the washrooms and into the main hallway, students were forming a circle, causing a scene. Screams and cheering were audible, and cameras were flashing everywhere, Lisa didn't need to get closer to find out what was happening.
