"Guess what day it is?"

Oh great...

Not if Sinb's day could get any worse, here comes Yuju looking like she just won a huge award.

"I'm really not in the mood right now, Yuju-ah." Sinb said not meeting her eyes and kept walking towards her locker. Sensing that Yuju kept on following her and didn't budge to go away, Sinb's getting pretty annoyed at this point.

"What do you want Yuju-ah? I told you already, I'm not in the mood right now."

Yuju's smile didn't falter at all. It seems as if she didn't even hear Sinb's comment at all.

"It's Friday! Sinb-ah, you should be excited! We get to go over Yerin's house together, we'll watch movies, tell stories..." Yuju exclaimed.

"You seem way too excited for just going over someone's house. You never acted this way going over anyone else's house before." Sinb commented  wondering why Yuju was so eager to talk to her today.

The group of them- Sowon, Eunha, Yuju, Umji, and Sinb- would always hang over each other's house almost every weekend. But ever since Yerin transferred to their school, she's all Yuju ever talks about, and honestly, it was starting to get pretty annoying. Not only does Sinb notice it, but the others as well. Yuju's been starting to hang out with other students at school as well and barely hangs out with any of them anymore. It's like she's gained a completely different personality now. When she does talk to any of them it's only about Yerin, but then soon enough, she goes back to talking to those same students, who give Sinb an off feeling. That's probably the reason why Sinb was so surprised that Yuju went and invited them to go over Yerin's house with her. Although they still wish to be Yuju's friend, it's harder now that she's made such a huge gap in their friendship.

By this point, Sinb already arrived at her locker. Quickly turning the combination lock and opening her locker, she grabs her books as Yuju continues to watch her.

"You are going over Yerin's house today, right?"

Sinb caught a slight mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Yeah, sure whatever." Sinb responded not wanting her to ask any more questions.

Luckily, Sinb was saved by the bell noting the start of class.

Sinb looks at Yuju with a concerned look on her face. "Oh, would you look at the time. I'll talk to you later Yuju, I have to get to class." She says sarcastically while pretending to look concerned. Shutting her locker, she walks towards her classroom before Yuju could say "Bye", but she didn't care. She was finally gone.

Sinb sighed once she reached her classroom and walked to her desk. Yerin, who was in the same class, looked up and saw this. Seems like no one else in classroom noticed this, but nevertheless she immediately became concerned. She decided to just talk to Sinb after class, but she was too concerned that she strangely couldn't stop thinking about the other girl as class progressed.

Sitting in her seat, Sinb still wondered why Yuju was so persistent in making sure that she goes over Yerin's house. Like it was Yerin's house, not her's. And what was that glint Sinb saw in her eyes? Whatever it was, Sinb was sure that whatever Yuju was planning wasn't gonna be good. She decided to discuss this with Yerin before she left for the day.

Class ended once again and everyone gathered up their books getting ready to leave. Yerin and Sinb got up from their seats at the same time and went walked straight to each other.

"Are you alright Sinb-ah? I saw you sigh once you got to the classro-" Yerin started.

"Yuju came up to me before class and there was something wrong..." Sinb said at the same time.

Both of them clearly flustered, Sinb let Yerin talk first.

"So, when you came into the classroom, it looked like you sorta sighed in relief... is there anything wrong?" Yerin asked the other girl curiously.

"Yeah, Yuju-ssi came up to me before class and talked about going over your house today. She sorta sounded like she wanted to make sure that I went no matter what." Sinb responded. "Something definitely feels kinda off, as if she's planning something weird. What do you think Yerin-ah?"

Clearly this wasn't the response Yerin was expecting, but nevertheless she responded to the other girl. "I'm not sure if she's planning anything, but that definitely doesn't sound good. When I said I wanted to get to know her better the other day, I went to go find and talk to her." Yerin explained. "But I found her around some people I knew weren't the best people to hang around. So, I went back to our classroom to find you, but you were already gone."

Sinb was slightly surprised, but definitely relieved. It was like a weight was suddenly lifted off of her shoulders. A smile was starting to form on her lips, but before it could she quickly dismissed it so the other girl wouldn't notice.

Yerin went on to explain, "I didn't want to judge her from the kind of people she hangs around, so I invited her over to my house and told her to invite you all as well..." Yerin paused. "I did find it suspicious of how overly excited she got though. Ever since then, I always find her whispering with those same students before noticing me looking at her and waving to me like I'm some celebrity."

You're a celebrity in my eyes. Sinb thought, but now wasn't the time to be thinking of cheesy stuff like that. She could definitely hear the concern and worry in her voice. Not wanting Yerin to get too stressed over this situation, Sinb grabbed her hand unconsciously and squeezed it in reassurance.

"Yerin-ah... whatever happens, I'll be here with you no matter what. Whatever Yuju does, good or bad, I'll always be here for you." Sinb said almost in a whisper.

Where the heck did I get all this confidence from?

Realizing what she just said to the other girl, Sinb quickly let go of her hand and started to blush once as she slowly lowered her head. The brown haired girl looked back up when she felt Yerin grab her hand back into her own soft, delicate hand.

"Thanks... Eunbi-ah." Yerin said back in a whisper. She looked straight into Sinb's eyes and showed her eye smile once more. This couldn't help but cause the other girl to show her smile as well noticing that she used her real name instead of her nickname. She almost didn't hear the blonde girl unfortunately say, "I'll get going now. I guess I'll see you later then."

Sinb only realized Yerin had left when she couldn't feel that soft hand in her's anymore. Sinb was sad that she left so soon and couldn't even say bye, but now she got all this confidence to go and impress her when she comes over tonight and show Yuju who Hwang Eunbi really is.

When Sinb arrived back at her apartment it was around 4 PM. Oh I forgot! I didn't ask her what time I should arrive at her house... Suddenly, she felt her phone vibrate from her pocket. Taking it out, she opened it to see a text from Yerin that answered her question.

Yerin to Sinb:

"I forgot to tell you... try to come around 6 pm to my house. Alright, see you soon Sinb-ah~ <3"

Sinb couldn't help but smile while reading this text. I wasn't the only one who forgot then. Sinb has exactly 2 hours to get ready before she has to go to her house. She decided to go spend that time taking a shower, putting on her makeup, and deciding what to wear.

20 minutes before 6 pm, Sinb decided to leave her apartment to go to Yerin's which wasn't that far, so she decided to just walk there. Her parents weren't home, but she didn't mind as they never really cared where she went anyway. She breathed in the cool, brisk air as she walked outside and closed the door behind her.

Sinb decided to dress a bit casual and simple; a usual look of hers that always got compliments from others. A simple white t-shirt, some black shorts, and a black sweatshirt as it gets cold late at night. She doesn't know how long she'll be staying there for, but it's better than staying home doing absolutely nothing at all, while she pretends to be busy.

Even though Yerin's house wasn't far, Sinb decided to just take her time and enjoy this short walk. There are rarely any times in Sinb's life where she can just forget about all of her problems and just be happy. Well... except whenever she's with Yerin of course.

But still, she can't get these thoughts out of her head. Especially thoughts about her.

I wonder if she thinks about me too. Sinb wondered and thought of her conversation from earlier today with the girl. She was the only one who noticed me sigh when I came to the classroom. Wait... does she always watch me when I come into the classroom?

Sinb laughed aloud at how foolish that sounded in her head. Surely not... right? I must've made her worried at how I looked when I walked in then. But she deserved it... she was the one who made me worried the other day.

Sinb smiles as she recalls the events of yesterday play back in her mind. I'm such a babo for getting so worried like that. But then she remembered what the other girl told her that day. You are perfect just the way you are- Sinb could remember her say those words so clearly.

You say I am perfect, when I'm a person with more flaws than everyone in the world. I should be the one to tell you that you are the beautiful one, the smart one, the perfect one, and flawless in every way possible. If only I had the courage to tell you this in person, then will you see me for the person I really am? Not just some person living a lie, not some Ice Princess, not Sinb- just me, and me alone.

Her footsteps stopped as she reached the front gate of her destination.

Finally got to update this ^_^ Thanks for all the support all of you have given me, it really helps me a lot! Congrats on Gfriend on their 2nd win for Fingertip on The Show! They've had an amazing comeback and I can't wait for their next one. I'll update again soon~ <3
