One Last KissKris POV~
I walk out of the school with Tao by my side, my stomach doing front-flips. I don’t know what it is about him but he always makes me nervous.
“So, where so you want to go eat?” I turn and smile at him, he looks up and smiles back slightly.
“I don’t care, you pick” He says, going back to text onto his phone. I frown slightly, but I brush it off. Him texting isn’t a huge deal.
“Is McDonald’s okay?” I ask. He just nods in agreement, still not looking up. I bite my cheek quietly. I quietly start to walk towards the McDonald’s closest to our school. I put my hands into my pockets, walking quietly.
“So why’d you want to go to lunch with me?” I ask softly, trying to make conversation. Tao just shrugged.
“I seen you almost done with tutoring so I figured, why not?” He shrugged at shoulder.
“Well I wasn’t almost done but it’s okay. We’ll catch up next time when we meet Thursday” Tao hummed when I finished talking.
I quietly walked up to the McDonald’s after a few minutes, holding the door open for Tao. He mumbled a thanks as he texted away on his phone. I sigh and step into the restaurant with him. I stood in line next to Tao as we waited for the people in front of us to continue ordering their food. I turn to Tao.
“Hey, I don’t wanna sound like a douche but can you stop texting? It was fine in the beginning but now I’m starting to get annoyed. I want to hang out with you. Not just have you on your phone as I sit and try and talk to you.” Tao looks up at me when I finish and gives a slight annoyed looking smile.
“Okay, sorry. I’ll stop texting” He says, putting his phone away. I smile gratefully at him and turn, getting ready to order our food for us.
After paying, I take my drink over to fill it up; Tao following.
“Hey I gotta go to the bathroom, I’ll be right back” Tao says before walking away, I turn to watch him. He almost immediately pulls out his phone when he was a couple feet away from me. I sigh and tak
