They drive out of the city.

“Oh my gosh, I can’t wait. It’s going to be awesome.” Yeri exclaimed with excitement.

“Okay. What are you two up to that you’re not telling me?” Irene asked.

"It's a secret." Wendy said.

"Why can't you just tell me?"

“Becuse Unnie, it wouldn’t be so secret if we tell you now would it?” Yeri says.

Wendy only smiled as she drives.

…

After a while, they finally pull up to a vast field.

“Oh, come on unnie. Hurry.” Yeri said as she rushes out of the car and starts running up the hill.

Wendy chuckles and laughs at the girl.

“What is this place?” Irene asks.

“Come on. You’ll see.” Wendy said and started walking after Yeri.

Irene quickly ran up next to Wendy and took her hand.

They walk up the hill and stand next to Yeri.

Yeri points. “Unnie, look. Isn’t it beautiful?”

Irene’s eyes lit up. “Wow. It’s beautiful. Where did you find this place?”

The scenery was beautiful. There was a vast field of lavender in front of them.

Wendy looked at Irene and smiled. “I used to come here a lot when I was younger.”

“I can’t believe you’ve never brought me here. Why are you only showing me this now?” Irene asked.

Wendy turned to look at the lavender field. “Remember that house project a while back?”

Irene thinks for a moment. Then it clicks and she remembers. “Oh yeah, that’s right. What about it?”

Wendy pointed to the side where the half-finished house was. Irene followed her hand and saw the house. Her eyes widen. She looks back at Wendy.

“No way. You’re building that house here?”

Wendy smiled and nodded. “Yep. Plus, I wanted to show you two first and see what you think.”

“Unnie, I think it’s awesome. I can’t wait for you to finish so I can come live here and see the lavender field every day.” Yeri said.

“Why are you building a house here?” Irene asked curiously.

Wendy took a deep breath and looked at the house that was currently being worked on. “This is a very special place for me."

"What’s so special about it?" Yeri asks.

Wendy laughed. “When I was younger, around 5 or 6, I met a sweet innocent girl here and she stole my heart."

“Where is she now?” Yeri asked.

Wendy smiled but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. “She’s with someone else.”

“That’s so sad. Why would you want to build a house with a sad memory like that?” Yeri asked.
