Today was the day of the party. Baekhyun was going crazy trying to finish cleaning up the place and make sure that they had everything. Channel had to go to work today so Baekhyun was all alone trying to keep sane. He vacuumed, swept, mopped, vacuumed again and still was not satisfied. Baekhyun just decided to give up. With a loud and exaggerated sigh he flopped down on the sofa. They scheduled the party for later that night but Baekhyun has never really thrown a party so he was a little nervous. This was always Chanyeol’s job. This party was sure to be fun because according to Chanyeol, Jongin and Sehun are going to come. Baekhyun on the other hand invited Luhan and Kyungsoo. He heaved another sigh and just closed his eyes; a nap could do him some good anyways. 

    To say that Kyungsoo was a nervous wreck would have to be an understatement. So far he has made five cakes, a hot pot, four batches of cookies, and he is working on making miso soup. See Kyungsoo has this habit that when ever he gets nervous he cooks. The more nervous he is the more he cooks. Kyungsoo wasn't necessarily nervous about the party seeing as he attended a few back in high school and college. The thing that had Kyungsoo nervous was the fact that he was going to end up spending a whole night with Jongin. This wouldn't be a problem if Jongin didn't live in the same building as him. It has been a week since Kyungsoo found out that Jongin lived in the same building and he couldn't help but always look for jongin when he was out of his apartment. Kyungsoo once caught Jongin going out with his trash once shirtless and he had to admit Jongin looked pretty nice. The way his muscles rippled on his back as he lifted the bag to throw it into the dumpster. The way he sweat pants hung loosely at his hips. It was probably the iest trash run ever. Of course Kyungsoo couldn't help but spill his coffee when Jongin turned around and waved at his window. Since then Kyungsoo has been very, VERY discreet. However, despite all his work to stay away, they still ended up walking to school together. Kyungsoo would flat out say that it was annoying and jongin wouldn't stop talking but secretly he liked it. He would never mention these things to Baekhyun of course because the guy would stalk them with binoculars . This party was definitely going to be awkward and crazy. 

    Sehun was not all too thrilled with this party idea. Sure its Chanyeol’s party but he hasn't been to a party since he broke up with his ex, Luhan. Jongin personally knew Luhan and saw what he did to Sehun. Chanyeol only heard stories about him. So the two of them hated Luhan with a passion. Sehun on the other hand just wanted to know why he chose his father’s business over him. The both of them were happy but Luhan chose the business over their love. Sehun wished he could desperately move on but he couldn’t. No matter how drunk he got; No matter how much work he piled on, Sehun could not forget Luhan. Luhan has a permanent place in his heart. However, the more time that went by the more he grew to hate Luhan. He was furious with the way the guy handled the situation after promising that his father wouldn't come between them. They were engaged to be married yet Luhan picked up and left without so much as a single goodbye. Sehun wished that where ever Luhan is that he would be absolutely miserable and lonely. Him and Luhan met back when Sehun was in college. He was a senior and Sehun was a Sophomore. They hit it off great. Within two months they were moving in and already bought a dog together. Sehun watched Luhan graduate and Luhan watched Sehun graduate. They both were happy together. Luhan’s father on the other hand did not approve of Sehun. He thought Sehun was a gold digger and didn't really love him. No matter what he said Sehun didn't care because Luhan promised that his words wouldn't change his love for him. After Sehun found out that Luhan left he shut everyone out. His smile faded from his flawless face. He stayed longer and longer at the office working and came home just to drink himself to sleep. Jongin and Chanyeol watched him in pity because he just wasted away. It took a year for Sehun to regain control over his life but it still didn't stop him from over working. To this day when Sehun looks at the clock at work he just laughs because he became the person he vowed never to be, a workaholic. He lost his tan and let his hair grow out a bit. He wears glasses now and only talks to Jongin and Chanyeol. So this whole party thing was just not something he was all too thrilled for. He had to at least thank Chanyeol for the poor effort to get Sehun to mingle with other people and start fresh. Shun was sitting on the couch listening to his music as he just watched the time tick away. He guessed it would be okay to mingle for an hour or two and make Chanyeol feel better. Still listening to his music he headed back to his room to get dressed for the night. 

    Baekhyun opened the door to Kyungsoo holding a bottle of wine. He just laughed and pulled the guy inside. Chanyeol was sitting at the table playing with his phone waiting for others to arrive. When he saw kyungsoo arrive he just gave a wave and giant grin. 

    “hey Kyungsoo how come you didn't come with Jongin?” Baekhyun was leaning over the kitchen island pouring two glasses of wine for them. 

    “Just cause we live in the same building doesn't mean we have to go places together, Baehyun” Kyungsoo really regretted not bringing the other bottle also because at this rate he was going to need two. Just as Baekhyun was going to reply the doorbell rang again. This time Chanyeol answered the door. 

    “Sehun! you made it!” a tall and sharply dressed guy stepped inside. He eyed the house and then raised an eye brow at Baekhyun. Of course before Baekhyun could fix that little slip up he had Chanyeol spoke up. 

    “hold on. How do the two of you know each other?! You guys have never even met before!” This was the perfect opportunity for Baekhyun to chug his glass of wine. 

    “We ended up meeting at a cafe. Chill Chanyeol no one is going to steal your man” The guy was snickering at Chanyeol’s blushing face. 

     “well anyways Baekhyun this party and I should know we went to quiet a lot back in the day” Kyungsoo placed his glass on the table and just stared at him. 

    “Kyungsoo this isn't like a ‘chug from the keg’ party, all though that would be kind of cool” Baekhyun pouring another glass for himself and another for Sehun, who gladly accepted. 

    “Wait, Wait, are you the famous Kyungsoo that has Jongin so confused he can't tell the difference from his or his head?” At this comment Chanyeol and Baekhyun started barking with laughter as Kyungsoo blushed into his wine glass. 

    “we are only friends I don't see why you guys think other wise” Sehun lifted a beautifully sculpted eyebrow. 

    “oh but thats where you are wrong. Its literally written all over your faces” 

    “Baekhyun, how about we do a line of shots. If this is how the conversation is going to be all night I need something a lot stronger than wine”  Baekhyun couldn't stop laughing at his best friend. He honestly wished this get together can help them get together. The four of them continued laughing and talking, as if they have been friends for a long time, for another hour until the door opened to reveal Jongin. He had dark jeans on with a simple white shirt on and a grey hoodie, ped. Jongin smiled and waved to everyone as he walked into the kitchen. 

    “hey guys. Kyungsoo! hey, i didn't know you would be here” Jongin looked very surprised at this revelation. 

    “Yeah, Baekhyun here invited me last week.” 

    “Oh Thats right you guys are best friends” Sehun looked shocked and whipped around to face Jongin. 

    “Wait you knew they were friends and you didn't tell me?!” 

    “oh be quiet Sehun its not that big of a deal” The two of them started this bickering fest that caused the other three remaining members to roll their eyes. Chanyeol turned to face Baekhyun as he stole his glass of wine. 

    “Another person was coming right, Baek?” Baekhyun simply nodded his head as he tried to grab his glass back from the tall giant. 

    “How about we set the table while we wait for the other person to arrive?” Kyungsoo was bored and needed something to do. 

    “That’s a perfect idea. You and Jongin can set the table. Ill go call Luge to see where he is at” Sehun stopped breathing that was the nickname he gave Luhan when they were together. There was no way that it could be Luhan that Baekhyun invited. Before Sehun could ask Baekhyun the guy already slipped into another room. So he just shook his head thinking he heard wrong. 

    Kyungsoo on the other hand wanted to smack Jongin of the head. The guy kept dropping things and just did a horrible job at setting the table. Kyungsoo couldn't stand it so he finally told the guy to leave while he settled and did what had to. Of course Jongin just sat at the table and watched Kyungsoo instead. 

    “So how have you been, Soo?” Kyungsoo was going to stab him with is chopstick he hated that nickname. 

    “Its Kyungsoo not Soo and why are already know my schedule. I go to class and then I go home.” Jongin just shook his head and smiled. 

    “No I asked how you were not what you did” Kyungsoo stopped what was doing and looked at the guy. Admitting defeat he sighed and answered the idiot’s questions. 

    “my life has been okay. Nothing really serious happened so I guess its just okay.” 

    “Your life must be pretty boring for you to have to stare at shirtless men taking the trash out” Kyungsoo could here Baekhyun and Sehun choke on their wine. Kyungsoo was now going to stab him with two chopsticks. 

    “wh- wh- what are you talking about Jongin” Kyungsoo was caught of guard by Jongin’s statement that he thought he would melt into a puddle on Baekhyun’s floor. 

    “Hold on you watched Jongin take the trash out shirtless” Bakehyun was shocked but pleased by this revelation. 

    “NO NO I didn't watch him I just so happened to look outside as Jongin took his trash out. I didn't mean to watch him damn it!” Shun and Chanyeol busted out laughing. Baekhyun wasn't far behind and Jongin had a smug smile on his face. Kyungsoo made a note to kill the man later. Just as Kyungsoo was going to say something to Jongin the door bell rang. Baekhyun ran to the door screaming “finally he came” obviously that elicited some snickers from Sehun and Jongin. However, as the Baekhyun opened the door and yanked the guy inside all laugher stopped. The room altogether seemed to have darkened. Kyungsoo looked the man up and down. He was nicely dressed in jeans and a stripped sweater. His hair was gelled back with a few strands falling onto his face. He had a nice looking watch on his left wrist. He had soft brown eyes and flawlesss porcelain skin. However, despite the guy being nice looking the only person that seemed happy to see him was Baekhyun. Kyungsoo looked around and everyone’s faces darkened and they all looked mad, especially Sehun. Kyungsoo could have also sworn that he heard Jongin growl at the guy.  

    “Guys what is the matter? You guys are looking at him as if he's your worst enemy.” 

    “He is” All eyes were on Sehun now. Sehun had a deep scowl on his face and his eyes bore daggers into this guy. Kyungsoo was terrified to say the least. He didn't know who was going to kill who. 

    “Luhan, nice to see your still alive” With that Sehun drowned the rest of his glass of wine and disappeared into the kitchen, probably looking for more. This get together is just about to get a lot more interesting.
