[Chung-Ho’s POV]

So, 3 and half months had passed.

I thought that hey, why not prepare for prom anyway?

It’s the last celebration of school, I’d just have to prepare even if I might not be able to go.

So I picked up my wallet which oddly was full even with no allowance but also, nothing to spend it on. I also picked my phone up and told my parents I’d go to the mall.

I had probably about 500,000 won in my wallet, a lot if you ask me.

I picked up a cab and went on the way to the mall, on the way there I saw Kyoung-Mi walking alone probably going to the mall as well.

“Kyoung-Mi, where are you headed?”

“I’m going to the mall.”

“Me too, come, hop on and we’ll go together.”

“Okay.”

So she hopped in and we arrived there and I paid the ajusshi.

“So, what are you buying?” I asked.

“Prom dress and I’m surprised to see you here because I thought you’d be consolidated in your house.” She said.

“Yeah, I just thought that I ought to buy a tux in case if I am able to go to the prom, if not, there are still other proms anyways.” I said

“Haha well at least I have someone to go with me pick out a prom dress from all these nice dresses.” She said.

“Okay, let’s get going to look at this stuff.”

“So, who’s first, my tux or your dress?” I asked.

“I think you should go first.” She said hastily.

“Let’s walk over to this aisle where the tuxes are located.” I said.

I picked about 5 tuxes that I could try on.

I got the first one and tried it out.

“How does it look on me?” I asked nervously.

“It looks ok, but it looks as if a girl should wear it.” She said.

“Ouch, haha, I’d love to see the designer’s face if he/she heard you.” I said sarcastically.

“To the next one!” She exclaimed.

I wore the next one and asked her how I looked in it and again, the same result except it’s not girly, just weird.

The same result with the other two, but on the 4^th one, was different.

“Wow, it looks good.” She said.

“Are you serious?” I asked.

“YEAH!” she said.

“Oh, then never mind about this other one.” I said as I threw it away and I accidentally hit an old man.

“Yah!” He screamed.

“Oh, mianhe ajusshi.” I said regretfully.

“Be careful you little one.” He said as if he was a jedi.

“Okay….” I said as I slowly walked away.

So I bought this tux which was surprisingly only 300,000 won and I still had about 200,000 won disregarding the change from the cab.

“Hey Kyoung-Mi, it’s your turn to pick out a dress.” I said.

“Yah! It’s embarrassing…” she said.

“And you think picking out a tux with a girl isn’t?” I said making a big point.

“Uh… I guess you’re right.” She said.

So she picked about 3 dresses only.

“So, what do you think?” she asked while spinning showing me all around the dress.

“I guess it’s okay, but it’s kind of plain, referring to the whiteness of it all.

So she tried out the second one and frankly, she looked like a fruit.

“Um, you look like an orange.” I said harshly.

“Ouch, well the designer would loved to hear that.” She said sarcastically.

And lastly, she wore the third one.

“How is it?

“Wow…….” I said kind of dreamily.

“You still there?” she asked.

“Huh? Oh yeah, I’m still here and you look really great in that.” I said.

“Aw… thanks. Wait, only in this?” she said suspiciously.

“No, no, you always look great.” I said lifting her spirits.

“Haha, you wish, anyways, thanks.” She said.

So she bought it at 400,000 won.

“That was so fun, hey you want to get some ice cream?” I said.

“Sure, but you’re buying.” She said with an aegyo like her favorite emoticon: P

“Haha, kyeopta!” I said as I couldn’t resist the aegyo.

I bought two chocolate ice creams; the price doesn’t matter, because it’s way too expensive.

“So, how’s school been while I am absent?” I asked curiously.

“Not much, but get this, I met Onew!!!” she said.

“Wow! That’s so awesome for you.” I said being happy for her.

“Yeah, but it’s not as fun since you’re not there.” She said not as happy.

“Cheer up, it’s almost prom anyways.” I said.

“Haha, yeah it is.” She said.

“It’s getting late so we should probably be getting home.” I said.

“Yeah and my parents might get mad at me.” She said.

“I’ll take you home.” I said.

“So many cabs are taken!” She said as many occupied cabs were passing.

I whistled loudly and hailed a vacant cab.

So I took her home and the ajusshi started a conversation with me.

“Ah…I remember having puppy love as well.” He said.

“Hold up, she’s just my best friend, nothing more.” I said awkwardly.

“That’s what they all say.” He said.

In my head, I was thinking; “This is one weird ajusshi, he’s really annoying!”

But on the outside; “Haha, yeah yeah.”

So I arrived home and I ate my supper quickly and fell asleep afterwards from a long and tiring day.
