“ i’m late.”

jaehyun is all over the place. his hair was a mess. his tie was not even at the right place. his briefcase is half opened. he was a total mess at that moment.

it just happened when he woke up really late- and his first job interview would be 10 minutes from now.

how does that sound?

he remembered that he had one last token for his bus fare inside his pocket. as he struggled to get it out- the token slipped from his hand- before rolling over, falling into the water drain.

“oh .” yep, he cursed a lot.

he ran towards the drain- and it is full with dirts. he can’t even bring himself to look at it. “oh come on don’t do this to me.”

he panicked even more when he saw the bus nearing. how could he even ride the bus if his last piece of token dropped in the water drain?

“can someone kill me right now?” he muttered- sighing loudly.

he decided to give up. so he turned his back away- not until he heard a feminine voice calling him from behind. “uh, mister?”

he turned around- and he saw an orange-haired girl, looking at him with a thin smile. “i believe you’ve dropped your last token. so- take this instead!”

she handed out a piece of token.

jaehyun swore she is like an angel who is saving him from the cruel world. he practically ran towards her- before taking the token gladly. “oh my god- thank you so much, miss.”

“rose would do.” she smiles- brighter this time.

“and jaehyun would do, too.”

that horrible day- became the best day in his life.

first, he passed the interview and got his first job.

second, he met her.
