“miss park, here is your coffee.”

sooyoung looked for tables- and it definitely ain’t hard- since the café is empty- except for a guy sitting at the corner of the café, seemingly is talking over the phone.

she tore her vision away from him- as she decided to sit at the table across him. sipping her iced americano- she casually took her phone out as she scrolled over the instagram feed.

her feed is spammed with a photo of a (handsome) guy- posing coolly in front of the camera.

btob had dropped their first teaser photo for their latest comeback- and first up is sungjae!

“oh- so it’s btob’s hot- maknae, yook sungjae. they’re having a comeback, huh?”

sooyoung scrolled her whatsapp group chat- and all her friends are fangirling over the photo. heck, even seulgi is squealing out loud through the voice recording tape.

“eunkwang hyung! do you want to know something?”

she was startled when the guy suddenly speaks out loud- grabbing her attention. as she takes a look on him carefully, he looks somehow familiar.

and wait- isn’t eunkwang a member of btob?

“i’d tell you a chemistry joke but i know i wouldn’t get a reaction.”

she unknowingly cracks up at his pun. okay, that was funny.

“hyung, someone was laughing at my jokes- finally!” her eyes widen when that guy was definitely referring to her. so- he heard her?

“you wanted a proof? what would i get from it? oh- deal!”

she can’t help but to feel nervous when she could feel his presence near her. is he approaching her? “excuse me, miss-” she almost freaked out when that guy appeared out of nowhere- and he is now right in front of her.

“-but can you please tell the guy in the phone that my jokes were funny. i heard you were laughing but he wouldn’t believe it.” when she analyzed his face one for time, she finally recognized him as-

“-here.” that guy interrupted her thoughts before handing her the phone. she could hear a steady breathing over the line. “hello?”

“oh- hello?” that guy behind the line sounded hesitant. she then remembered that guy had mentioned eunkwang hyung just now. “uhh- eunkwang shi? i just wanted to say that i definitely laughed at sungjae shi’s jokes just now.”

she giggled when she heard sungjae’s gasp across her. the line suddenly went off- as she stared at the phone confusedly. “eunkwang shi cuts off the line.” sooyoung handed the phone back to him- and he is still staring at her with wide eyes.

“sungjae shi?”

“oh, uhh-”

sungjae gladly took his phone back, but he can’t seem to take his eyes off her. “is there anything wrong?”

he finally snapped out from his thoughts. “uhh- nothing. it’s just amusing that you actually recognized me even though i am with my bare face now. and you actually laughed at my jokes! t-that’s kinda rare-”

sooyoung laughed when he was being all awkward. “-your jokes are my type.”

oh- how we wished that he was her type instead.
