“there’s a match between our college and sm high next week!”

the news is all over jyp high. it was too overwhelming- since everyone is talking about it. the girls- were especially fangirling with the fact that they will be able to see their handsome oppas from sm high.

nayeon really didn’t get it. sure- there is one or two of them who were good looking- like kim kai and oh sehun. but most of the seniors in sm high- like kai and sehun- have their girlfriends already anyway. what’s the point of fangirling over someone who already have a girlfriend?

but this time- she heard that the juniors are having a match instead. it is got7- their school’s junior basketball team, competing against nct- sm high’s junior basketball team.

she had never met nct before. they had been here once for a match- but she wasn’t present. so she missed the chance to see how handsome they were with her own two eyes.

they were probably going to be another bunch of pretty boys anyway.

“i’ll get going first- bye!”

nayeon bid her goodbye towards sana, her best friend, as she exited the main entrance of the school. she took her phone out- when she saw that her sister’s car- nahyun, is yet nowhere to be found. it is already 8 pm- since she stayed for her club meeting.

nayeon ah- i can’t pick you up today. sorry.

“aish- this woman.” she sighed. thank god that her house is merely 15 minutes away from the school. she decided to walk back to her house by feet.

she stopped when she saw this dark road. it was merely a small road- and it’s totally dark there. nayeon had heard a few stories about school girls being attacked whenever they walk alone at night.

should i use this way? or nah?

she had always use that way during the day time. it was the fastest way to reach her house. well- let’s just use it.

she clutched her bag tightly- as she closed her eyes. one, two, three.

she sprinted across the road. for the first 50 meters, it was safe. well not until she heard scary male voices out of nowhere.

“hello there- pretty girl.”

she swore she will regret this for the rest of her life.

“oh- it’s a pretty one this time.”

she heard another voice- as her legs gave up on her. she squinted her eyes against the dark- and she could see a total of three guys surrounding her. damn it why didn’t i take taekwondo classes?

“p-please don’t do anything to me.” her voice were barely heard- and she was sweating so badly.

“aww- we won’t hurt you, sweetie. we would just have a little taste of you, then we’ll let you go.”

“p-please don’t-” she was at a horrible state. her fears are taking over as the three guys stepped way closer towards her. one of the guy- lifted her chin up using his finger- and she flinched at the touch.

he leans in very close- and he was merely few millimeters against her lips.

she closed her eyes tightly- wishing for a miracle to happen.

“please stop whatever you’re doing.”

and it happened.

she immediately escaped from their grip- as she ran towards the stranger. she couldn’t recognize him- since it was dark. she hid behind his back. “help me please.”

“stay here.”

she know she shouldn’t be thinking of this right now- but oh god his voice is so damn y.

okay im nayeon seriously you almost got and here you are spitting nonsense about a stranger’s y voice-

he defeated those three guys easily. they ran for their lives- and nayeon sighed in relief. “ahh- thank god.” somehow her fears disappeared with the wind.

the stranger turned towards her- and she freaked out when she saw blood dripping from his lips. “oh my god your lips are bleeding-”

he laughed at her reaction. they took a few steps- and finally they could see lights coming from the main road.

there- she could finally see his features clearly. is he even real? damn- why is he so handsome? he is a pretty boy, yes- but she could sense manly vibes from him- especially after how he saved her just now.

totally her type.

she was too busy checking him out- which left him standing there awkwardly. “uhh- nayeon shi?” his eyes fell on her nametags- as he called her out.

“y-yeah?” she snapped out of embarrassment. “oh- your lips-”

he shook his head. “no- it’s okay. i’m fine.”

“are you sure?”

“hundred percent sure.”

she recognized the jersey he is wearing. the familiar dark red and black jersey. “are you from sm high?”

“yeah. i’m lee taeyong- sm high’s junior basketball team captain.”

“oh- you’re in the basketball team? the captain even? so you’re nct’s captain? whoah- how small the world is-” she muttered- amused with the fact that nct’s captain had just saved her from nearly getting .

“next time- don’t walk using this road at night. it’s dangerous.”

she heard his voice.

she finally have a reason to watch the basketball match next week.

and her reason would be lee taeyong.
