“i’m dropping over your house this evening, daughter. i might even consider to stay for the night-”

krystal accidentally cuts off the phone call with her mom- as she innerly freaked out. , , . she cursed in his mind. she looks around her house- and nope, her mom would definitely not approve this kind of environment in her house.

the thing is- she has been living on their own for a few months but has slacked off on household chores and y’know, buying proper groceries. she knew it was definitely her responsibility as for a woman who lives alone- but she rarely spent time in her own house anyway.

she eats outside, washed and ironed her clothes at the dry cleaning service, and spent most of her time at the campus.

and her house looked like a wreck- no kidding.

she tried to look around- searching for some cleaning supplies that she owned but oh god- she didn’t even have a ing broom-

she was so helpless at that time- and the clock is ticking fast. come on, krystal, think.

ahah! she blooms into a big smile before rushing outside her house. she ran towards her neighbor’s door- right beside hers. it belonged to madam kim- a sweet lady in her late 40s who would always send her food for dinner- since she knows that krystal can’t cook.

knock! knock!

the door opened- and krystal quickly rambles around. “good evening, madam kim. i’m krystal- from the next door. i wonder if you have any cleaning supplies like a broom, clorox and all-”

“-uhh, miss?”

krystal widened her eyes as she heard a deep, male voice interrupting her. she squinted her eyes to get the view of madam kim clearly- and nope, that ain’t madam kim. a random hot guy was staring at her confusedly instead.

“i’m sorry- but is madam kim inside?” krystal tried to sound as feminine as possible. SHE TRIED.

“mom is out for groceries.”

“mom? oh- you’re madam kim’s only son?” krystal suddenly remembered that madam kim had once mentioned to her about her only son, who is currently studying abroad. she remembered his name, but- “-kim bumsoo? uh no- kim misoo? or maybe, kim-”

“-it’s kim myungsoo, miss.” he laughed at her hilarious attempt of guessing his name. “oh yes- myungsoo shi. i’m krystal, your neighbor next door.”

“nice to meet you, krystal shi.” he smiled- and oh god his smile could send her to heaven already-

“-by the way, you mentioned about a broom just now-”

-yeah, their first conversation would be about cleaning supplies like brooms and clorox. nice.

“-oh, i was wondering if i could borrow a broom? and maybe a bottle of clorox? y’know- basic cleaning supplies. my mom is visiting and i hadn’t really cleaned my house yet, so-”

“-oh, you’re cleaning? do you need any help? i mean- i’m kinda have nothing to do now so maybe i could help you with something-”

“-it would be nice if you could help.”

krystal suddenly felt like showering her mom with butterfly kisses ahah.
