Jungkook had warned Yein that there was nothing to be scared about despite the fact that the maze like garden that was filled with hedges that looked like they never ended, it gave Yein an uneasy feeling. She didn’t like the fact that the fog around her became so thick that she couldn’t even see what was around her anymore but instead she saw a light, yet it resembled a candle. She followed the light as it turned around the corners of the maze that never seem to have ended. When she continued to follow the light she heard voices.

“Xiu Ai? Are you there??”

Yein froze as she could recognise the familiar voice; it was the god of War that whispered out another woman’s name. She felt her heart accelerate as she wanted to turn around the corner to see if it was her imagination or really him, however he couldn’t have been there because he sent her off from the start of the maze and told her that he would meet her at the end.

“Jungkook? What are you doing here??”

This time Yein was beyond scared and it amazed her how Mijoo and Hoseok managed to pull this challenge off because the young woman who spoke was her however it those words did not come out of the mouth of hers that was covered by her hand.

“I came here to for you… Let’s escape from this realm into the human world, hmm?”

“Are you crazy? I cannot leave this place; it is my prison and punishment for disobeying my duties as a god and daughter.”

The light that Yein was following had now moved in which Yein turned around the corner she was hiding and there was nothing there, but the hedge itself, there was no trace of Jungkook or the young woman that had stolen her voice, neither Mijoo or Hoseok. Then she heard the voices again.

“What do you mean?! For what?”

She ran towards Jungkook’s voice, towards the candle light that was around the corner, this time she didn’t hesitate but went around the corner however the light had disappeared and reappeared around the next corner however the voices became louder.

“She told our father the truth that she loves you and she does not wish for our marriage to happen.”

Yein had become confused now, the voice that replied to Jungkook was not the imposter that stole her voice but another who was a lot huskier yet elegant however there was sadness yet hatred in the voice which scared Yein.

“I do not wish for us to be married as well. After all I know that Xiu Ai and I belong with one another, but not us.”

“Why not us? I know that you want to become the King of all the gods and goddess and I can give you the same power, isn’t that all your after?”

The voice was desperate for Jungkook love and it brought sympathy to Yein’s heart as she couldn’t understand why Jungkook wouldn’t accept this woman like the other woman who had her voice. She heard the voices getting softer and the light getting dimmer, in which she ran towards them and once again the voices became audible however there was a scream that startled Yein who quickly ran towards it, however when she turned around the corner a bright light shined against her eyes and a loud cry resonated to her ears however they were not of a young woman but a mythical creature that she thought she would never come across.

A Minotaur

The creature with a bull’s head and a man’s body let out another shriek which increased Yein’s heart rate and she quickly tried to dodge its attack on her as it swung its labrys towards her. Although she was as scared as she had even been in her life she couldn’t let it hurt her and ran towards the way she came. However she became lost and desperately hid around the corners of the hedges however she knew better that this was the Minotaur’s territory not hers which meant it knew every corner, hedge and scent and if anything it knew where she was. She had really thought that Mijoo and Hoseok really did give her a proper scare as she typically was not scared of anything.

“Pesky human, where are you?” She heard the demonic voice of the creature speak and it brought chills to her spine. “I am very hungry, it had been almost a million years since I last feasted on human flesh as master had forgotten to feed me…” it chuckled and Yein held her breath when she could hear it’s footsteps get louder.

“Come out come out wherever you are…” It sang in a chromatic way that was not pleasing towards the ears of any god let alone human. It its tongue as it was watering and Yein slowly moved around the corner of the edge and for god knows why she wondered why there was a twig exactly where she was standing. The small twitch made an enormous noise in the sound of the Minotaur’s ear and her own and she didn’t think twice but ran as if her life depended on it, if she didn’t already did so.

“I found you!!!”

The monster screamed with joy and ran towards her direction and without knowing where she was going Yein tried to stop herself from screaming as it would do no good but give the Minotaur her location and when she thought she had ran away the earth beneath her crumbled to the floor and she was met with the most fearful and terrifying thing, a dead body in which had a fearful expression painted on the human and this time she couldn’t hold it anymore but scream.

“I found you now my delicious dinner.” The demonic voice laughed and she tried to pull herself out of the ground but the dead body that was missing some parts in which its head was decapitated and was smiling now at her, she screamed again and tried to push away the head and dead arm that attached itself onto her leg as the Minotaur took more heavy steps towards her with a grin, as it got closer she became more than scared and she felt her hands tremble even more if possible as she shut her eyes tight believing it would take away the pain she was going to feel but before she could die she screamed out someone’s name.

And a bright light appeared as if her prayers had been heard however not
